Repetitive and full of platitudes. Failed to mention some significant evidence that has emerged since the Zeist trial, such as the discovery that the MST-13 timer fragment which formed a crucial link in the chain of evidence, was NOT “similar in every respect” to other MST -13 circuit boards. With its platitudinous repetitive character I did wonder whether this book was a creation of an AI, but suspect that AI wouldn’t have produced a book this bad.
A thoroughly researched and thoughtfully written book that presents the Lockerbie investigation with fairness and clarity. I really appreciated how the author carefully separates established facts from speculation, allowing readers to form their own conclusions. The writing is engaging, respectful, and easy to follow despite the complexity of the case. A fascinating and worthwhile read for anyone interested in true crime or modern history.
