Holy. Shit. when i saw that "end of part 1" as it dropped i had chills. no joke (it sounds so lame saying it like that) BUTS ITS TRUE. samura v akemura. just SEEING akemura and hearing him talk is so surreal like we have been building up to this. it was aamzing and everything chihiro has gone thru and all of those emotions that he can now pour into his swordsmithing. but.... we are finally getting it. WE ARE IN A FLASHBACK WITH HIS FATHER and we get to see how/why he is going to make this damned swords. also new goat is mashrio btw. we LOVE mashiro

this reached easily one of my top mangas ever read. the art is phenomenal and i love all the characters to death. I cannot wait for the anime in april 2027!!!!

Agghhh the villains, the villains are very cool, and actually how about just every character is very cool👍👍now, with this downtime, let’s hope Hakuri is properly treated for his brain damage

WE GOT THE AKEMURA COVER OMG!!?!!! THE PURPLE!!? THE WAY IT MATCHES VOL. 11!?? AAAHH!

What a freaking ending to Part One. WOWOWOW!! It's hard to even convey the experience of reading this. I knew what was coming and still cried. Maybe that's exactly why I cried? There was so much build-up to these moments, and they absolutely did not disappoint. I took so many notes full of incoherent screaming and disbelieving reactions, but I wanted to keep this spoiler-free. Just know I can't recommend Bachi enough.

I've loved this manga since the first chapter released, but it has truly only gotten better and better. I daresay it's moved me more than any other manga, and more than a lot of novels, too. Absolutely incredible. Such great storytelling. It thrills me that this is only the ending of the first part. I need to read every dang part of this story that Hokazono has created!!

Part 1 complete! Been great so far. More chapters available on the SJ app but I'll probably just wait until the volumes are released before reading more on the app.
Highly recommended for manga fans.
