My weakness for cowboy romance and erotica, including cowboy cops, drew me to this two book series. There is only one negative to this series, and that is the author did not note a warning that book two contains a violent rape scene.
Book One Spoiler content: I give this 4 stars
Willa Hale is a strong plucky woman with plenty of spirit. Devoted to her calling training horses for law enforcement duty, and her father’s memory she struggles to keep her father’s business afloat. And she has a secret; she is an animal whisperer with an innate ability to speak to animals. A lapse in judgment after her father’s death led her into an abusive marriage, ending in her husband’s accidental death by rattle snake. Targeted and branded by her ex husband’s family as a murderer, they seek to vet out their own brand of justice. When Zeb Childress, the man she has loved since childhood, shows up after 18 years her world is turned upside down when he discovers he loves her and has missed out on years of happiness.
More than a contemporary romance, this story has a touch of magic, tragic pain, light hearted fun and a happily ever after. Well written, flows well. Her use of the ferrets, Bobby the bobcat and Lobo the wolf was a good touch and had me ginning. Exciting and with a well thought out plot line, this story is a can’t put it down read.
Book two I give this 7 stars No spoilers, don’t want to take away from the twists and turns on this one.
I was expecting a contemporary romance with some hot sweet love scenes, what I got was super hot, hard and intense sex. Steamy, staggering, dirty, sweaty, wanton….loved the sex. The first time these two hook up on the hotel floor is almost as good as eating chocolate. The paranormal aspect was unexpected. I won’t go into any detail on this because I don’t want to spoil it. The plot is full and exciting with well rounded interesting characters. Totally enjoyed this.

"I felt a disconnect then a connect . . . "
There was a feeling that the two stories were connected by then when I listen to them both I could not find that connection between the two besides a name passing here or there. I was hurt by Zeb's (Zebediah) story and the ending. I felt lost. I wanted more. I wanted the ending to have that something extra. I was heartsick for Willa.
Now when the second story came along I was on the fence but it soon changed to on the fence and wanting to know more about Joe. I found Joe to be the most intriguing of them all. Cia and Kade at the super hot chemistry and the sizzle and burn that set the audio ablaze. There was an element of supernatural and paranormal with this read. It pulled me back in.
These two similar but different interracial romances had their own highs and lows that made it all the better.
J. Turner lent his voice to strong rich sexy males characters and brought their stories to life. He even had a pretty good feminine voice for the various female characters.

Plots immediately jump starts and is fast paced. Intensity & chemistry are both off the charts with added the bonus of paranormal elements all help bring romance into the dangerous lives of these rangers.
Zeb****Very strong characters with strong emotional pulls due to their childhood history. With the odds against them romantically, the danger surrounding her intensifies. Which I think opens the door for them both to deal with their past hurts and find something neither were looking. They're both stubbornly smitten.
Kade***From the beginning this was a bit more dark then I was anticipating. Focus in this book is more dealing with the various paranormal elements then romantic. Paranormal mystery indeed....like to think outside the box this book is for you!
CIA is a agent that has seen the horrific side of humanity and feels broken and unable to love. She with the special unit. If you like Heather Graham Krewe Hunters you might like this one too. This has sick serial killer and she tracking it down and discovering herself in the process. Made local sheriff falls for this heavy and has a few gifts of his own. He definitely a great catch and just what CIA needs. Violence 3, sex 2

Love Again
This set includes characters hinted in other books and focus on the special paranormal division of the FBI. Couples that find each other during time that murder and strife are paramount. Zeb and Willa childhood loves that come back to each other. Cia and Kade that take on a monster and save each other. The narrator has a gravelly voice which was harder to really imagine for the female characters but is really sexy for the seasoned cowboy. Definitely gets the imagination going to. Ciana is a great writer that just takes you on a suspenseful adventure.

I really enjoyed both of these stories.
Two Texas rangers, each with a woman to love. Zeb is dealing with drug smugglers as a real life threat and meets the woman Wills who's facing her own personal threats from the same cartel group. As for the 2nd story we have a villainous dead man killing women and a psychic government unit hunting him down. One agent, Cia, who sees dead people, a spirit named Joe, and Kade her lover fighting his sanity in trying to believe in her powers and in his potential.

Two different romance stories in one book! I always love it when you get more for your money and you definitely do in this audiobook. Both stories grabbed my attention from the beginning and I really liked it all the way until the end. Great writing with pretty good narrating.

I really enjoyed this box set. Mixing law enforcement with a bit of paranormal twist was a pleasant surprise. The characters are well rounded out and have just the right amount of depth. The passion has enough spice and connection to leave you yearning for more. You'll close out your ereader with a smile on your face.

Two great books

I was given a copy of this set of books for an honest review and I honestly would give it 10 stars if that were possible.
The first book Zeb is a story of love that survives time. The action keeps you reading and you spend your time hoping that these two find happiness in the end. The things they both have gone through make them perfect for each other.
The second book Kade is also a love story with a supernatural theme. The action throughout this book keeps you on the edge of your chair. You spend your time wondering what will happen next and rather Cia and Made will ever find their happy ever after.

Not at all what I expected
Both books have a paranormal twist, along with a slightly dark side. The first book, Zeb was a little predictable. The second books, Kade, left me on the edge of my seat.
I absolutely did not plan to read these books in one sitting, but that is exactly what ended up happening.
There were romances between Zeb and Willa in book one, and Kade and Cia in the second book. There were even hot, steamy scenes. The paranormal aspect threw me for a loop, but kept me completely engaged.

I really enjoyed these two. I liked the sexyness of the rangers. A couple spots did confuse me... I felt like I might have missed something somewhere, but overall I really enjoyed it. I am going to search and see if there is more of the paranormal fbi type group in the 2nd story. I really enjoy this author's style of writing and love that it's not all easy for them. Very good series and I am very glad the author let me review it.

Loved it!!!

Girl who loved him all her life walks into his path. In the other. FBI Agent and Texas Ranger team up in the case if a serial killer with a real twist!!

Contemporary Romance with a twist of paranormal
I liked the deep love stories that came about in both of the Rangers lives, but I loved the paranormal twist that each story had only making those love stories more interesting, stronger, and of course more blessed. Great reads.

Slightly off beat, but very good.
Loved both stories. Both dealt with an added extra sensory twist to them. Something I think we all have but don't tap into. Still there was plenty of romance and passion in both. I highly recommend these stories. Very enjoyable.
