A brokenhearted couple’s brutal game deepens when it takes a right turn, resulting in the desperate need for a heartless single-minded outcome. Although the intended victim is really Josh, it’s Jessie who finds herself in the crossfire, a necessary pawn in the vicious plot.
Around Jessie are people she loves who are all struggling to figure out where they fit in and how they can help. In the end, choosing what’s most important in life leaves a trail of broken hearts, while the trigger-quick actions of two men in the face of a heartsick woman’s final choice drive home the true meaning of sacrifice.
Well, I used to be a museum curator but now I'm a writer and a filmmaker! Don't ever let anyone tell you that you can't do what you want in life - my mantra is 'if you believe it, you can achieve it!'
The Drifters Series was supposed to start out as three books but has expanded to fifteen. The Dallas White Series is growing, and I just completed my first feature film, Still The Water. My mother always said I had my head in the clouds - I guess she was right! I do love to 'imagine,' and am now working on a new book (Dallas, three) and a new screenplay (Kristian's Cross). Oh, and did I tell you the Drifters series has been optioned for television? Can't wait to see where that lands!
I live with my partner Stephen and my striped cat Oliver (Lucy Maud Montgomery once said the only good cat is a striped cat!) in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada, and I make frequent trips to Vancouver to visit my son Christopher and his sweet puppy, Winston.
"Music has the power to heal" - music, a great cuppa joe...and maybe love...
I'm certainly happy I got the first of this series free. It was such a great read. Wish they were one book story though. Seemed rather pricey and long winded.
