Coop & Bianca met when she was an informant for him. Unfortunately on a previous mission he almost got her killed. Matthew managed to save her and took her to “Belle Fleur”. Coop is naturally sorry that because of his actions this beautiful woman was subjected to unimaginable horror. He promised to change but….. he did it again, he put her in the path of a killer who she thought was her father. The “Lecture/advice” Matthew gave to Coop had me crying. It was beautifully put and so very moving that it brought him to his knees. As almost always, it all worked out beautifully. There is a HEA at the end of the book. Mary is by far my most favourite author. I have read all she has written and enjoyed every single book. If you are starting with this book, do yourself a favour and go and find all her previous books. They link together in their own way but every book has an ending. Thanks Mary for another fine offering from your good self.
Fantastic storyteller. Love all the background information on what is going on beneath the surface. The ghosts have become a favorite part of reading these books. Besides the men finding their HEA. And this one was no different. Cooper made some mistakes but found his love could never let him go.
I love every book Mary Kennedy has written in this series. Matthew rescued the young woman and in the end taught all the men Young and old what it means to ask forgiveness when you mess up with your woman. Brilliant
