Ok...not a waste of .99 cents but nothing special either ...
Nothing Special are the best words to describe this to me, Boy meets girl, Realizes she's his "Fated Mate" ,boy tells girl he's a werrebear ,girl freaks,runs off, a dating site and a lil vague identity and boy gets girl back in his arms,and they have sex all over his house, stupid girl freaks again overwhelmed by it all runs off again,in a snow storm in his truck, gets a few miles away realizes what a complete and total idiot she's been to have run off and stayed away for ten years over this,( and Yes!, She is a complete and Total idiot!!! 10 years just because he didn't tell her was a shifter before they fell in love with love? Btw that was ALL he did wrong with her ;( 10 years) WTF??!?! Right?
Anyway he finds her forgives her both times and more sex ( honestly the sex was meaningless to me because the couple were soo uninteresting and had soo little chemistry)and the skip to the epilogue and their getting married and and guess what hat she's preggers ....
Don't see me keeping it coz I won't be reading it again...

A quick read but an enjoyable one. I just wish the story was longer.
Alpha bears who find their mates plus a little conflict between alphas along the way.

This is the third book in the series and can be read as a stand alone. It's a nice fast steamy read. It's a story about second chances. Aubrey's life isn't all sunshine and roses. She's not happy with her job. Her highlight of her day is when she corresponds with Dale on SassyDate. When he finally asks her to meet she's in for the surprise of a lifetime. Deacon regrets every day that he let Aubrey get away. He will do anything can even if he pretends to be someone else. Can he win heart again? or is it too late for this couple?

I received a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.
I was immediately drawn into the storyline on the first page. The heroine is fed up with her job and is in need of a vacation. She had signed up with a shifter dating sight and had been talking to a guy named Dale. What she doesn't know is that Dale is really Declan from near her hometown in Idaho where she grew up.
We learn that she and Declan had dated a long while back but they broke up and she moved away. I will not say why because the Author does not give the reason right away but I will say a lot of it was immaturity on both sides.
Aubrey decides to take Dales offer to come for a visit so they can meet. She arrives during a heavy snowstorm that grounds everything so when she arrives and find's out that "Dale " is really Declan from the past she can't run. The chemistry between the two is obvious from the very beginning. I think the author did a wonderful job of keeping the readers on the edge of their seats at this point. I was routing for them all the way to the end.
I would highly recommend this author to anyone who loves shifter romance books. It flows nicely throughout the story and ends with no cliffhangersbut, leaves you wanting to read more of her books. Thank you Anya Nowlan for a wonderful short story.

Years after getting over her heartbreak Aubrey meets a new shifter using SassyDate and decides to return to Idaho so she can meet him. Instead she meets up with the other me who got away Deacon. Polar Bear shifter Deacon has a new life but the one thing that is missing is love and he doesn't want anyone but Aubrey. Can these two overcome past hurts and start over and be together or will they let the past get in the way.
When I started reading this book I thought that Deacon had did something horrible and broke Aubrey's heart but I felt like it was the other way around. I loved this short story on second chances but I wanted to know more about their past and how Aubrey got over being afraid of shifters. I felt like she thought that Deacon should have chased after her after she ran. I also thought that the fact that Deacon was a shifter and didn't let her know was no reason for the amount of time they spent apart. I thought that Aubrey was a little immature in the fact that he didn't tell her, but didn't she run and never look back after she found out. Most guys wouldn't have chased her either.

Book three in the Sassy Shifter Brides series. You dont need to read the other two, but it might give you a better backgroud to Shifter Grove.
This is Deacon and Aubrey's tale. They had been together ten years before, but Aubrey ran after she discovered Deacon was a werebear, a polar bear. After talking to Dale on SassyDate, Aubrey decides to give it a chance at trying to finally get over Deacon. But Dale doesn't meet her at the airport, Deacon does.
I've filed it on the hangover shelf, because it is want it is: a perfect hangover cure, clearing your palette for the next difficult read, or the next deep, dark and deadly one. Which was just what I needed. Having read 3 books in a series almost back to back, I needed to clear my head for the next longer, deadlier book, and this book did the trick.
It is, quite frankly, 61 pages of a second chance, and a third, of keeping the young love you knew, ten years ago was your mate. You just need to get her to stay.
Short, sweet and to the point.

This is yet another great release in the Sassy Shifter Brides series. Aubrey feels like she is finally getting over her old love....Deacon, but without realizing it she has hooked up with him again...he is using a different name on the shifter online dating app they are both using. When her new flame "Dale" invites her to come and meet him Aubrey jumps at the chance...and then when she gets there in a snowstorm she finds the deception that Deacon had set up...but now she is stuck due to the storm and has to go with him. Once he gets her back to his place the story heats up really quick! The only issue I had with this story was how quickly she forgave him for deceiving her, but true love will not be denied. I can't wait for the next book in this series...each one has kept me quickly turning the pages.

Hot little polar read!
Hot little Polar bear read. Bears are probably by far my favorite shifter books. This is a hot little fast read. Apparently I started wrong. I'm thinking this is book 3 and sometimes my phone doesn't show that. But no matter the series doesn't have to be read in order. I think the only complaint I had in this one was like the mating and life expectancy for the polar bear. 99% of shifter reads their mates get marked mostly bitten along with telling whether or not if the mates can be changed or how long they live and so forth. But it's still a great short read. Not much action and suspense. I think this is the 2nd time I've read from this author. And I like her writing style. So I quickly snatched up her 1st two in this series.

Aubrey is bored with her job and her boss keeps piling up his work on her. When she has a chance to get away and meet Dale she grabs it but he is not who he seems to be. Deacon screwed up his 1 chance at his true mate and now fate has granted him another chance at true love but can he convince his ex to give him another shot at a happy ending.
Love the characters and the story line flow in this read. There is conflict between the 2 characters and the author showed it off really well.

Will love help Aubrey find her way home again to Idaho? Aubrey has brains, a good job and summer weather all the time. Her heart still will not get over her one true love. Deacon let his mate slip through his fingers. He won’t let that happen again. Anya Nowlan does a great job in continuing the series with the love story or Aubrey and Deacon. Anya's writing is beautiful and witty. I would recommend you read the series so that you can fall in love with all the characters. Aubrey ran from Deacon before and she has always looked back on regret. Once a mate, always a mate. I enjoyed this book and I cannot wait for the next.

Aubrey is an accountant in LA. She has been using the sassymate app, trying to find a man that could make her feel as good as her first love Deacon had. When the man she's been communicating with asks her to come to Idaho to meet him, she decides to go. When she finds out it's none other than Deacon she's furious, but because of a snow storm she's stuck at his cabin, giving him a chance to show her that she's his mate and they are meant to be together.
This story was short and sweet and one is those where a first broken heart is able to be mended. After meeting Deacon in the other books series it was nice to see him get his happy ending.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I am SO loving this series of SassyDates.com. They are short, sweet, sexy and at times hilarious. In this book, Deacon (a werebear) and Aubrey (his fated mate from whom he has been estranged for ten years) are brought back together in a cute storyline. It isn’t very long so I don’t want to give away too much of the plot but their story has its downs, its ups, its downs and ups again. I truly enjoyed it and am looking forward to book four.

Received Arc for review. Definitely a series to put on your reading list! The storyline and characters were great. Aubrey ran from Idaho to escape a relationship she couldn't handle. Ten years later working in a dead end job, she signs up for an online dating site. She thinks she's chatting with a wonderful man named Dale. When he invites her to visit, she gets the surprise of her life. So not what she expected!

Aubrey signed up for SassyDate to see if she can find someone who could make her fell the way her ex Deacon made her fill. She started talking to a were-bear named Dale and she's falling for him. He IMed her to ask if she would liked to come to Shifter Grove for two weeks. This is when everything gets tricky and she'll have a surprise that she would never guess in her life time. This is a quick hot story about a young woman not giving herself a chance to live and love. If he was willing to take another chance at love why was she running from him again. And mate or not how many chances is he going to give her. She needs to decide whether she going to start living or just keep existing. Enjoy I did. This was given to me for an honest review.

I've always liked polar bears. If I came across this one, I bet I could even learn to love the cold and snow! Deacon loves Aubrey and just wants her back. He knows she is his mate. Truly a cute love story with enough steam to keep the chill away. I believe in second chances, too.

Brrrr Too Short
These are nice short, short stories. Deacon and Aubrey had been through so much. He is a Polar Bear shifter who lost his mate for not being upfront. She ran from him as far as she could go. She finally decides to try to date again and return to Idaho. The guy she met online might be the one.

This was a very fast read but the story held nothing new. It was really a typical lost love/found love and all the misgivings in the middle. There wasn't really enough to love this story but it was okay.

There were some twists in this story that I caught me totally unaware, didn't see them coming. I fully enjoyed the story it was very moving and touching, well written. I look forward to reading more books from this author.

Despite the fact this story was at least mild it was well written with nice characters and quicked paced.
I can't wait for more of this Series.
