About the author

Stanley Jungleib is the founder of Seer Systems and the inventor of real-time software synthesis, the technology that eliminated the dedicated sound card and made every laptop, phone, and desktop intrinsically musical. He holds USPTO Patent 5,886,274 for scalable music distribution and received the Electronic Musician Legacy Award in 2017 for work described as game-changing and having shaped the way we make music. He is also the author of General MIDI (A-R Editions, 1995) and Music Possible (1983). ACCIDENT: Seer Systems is his memoir of the decade that built the future of music software.
