Hi! I’m Krasi — an artist and author based in Vilnius, living somewhere between lines, knots, and the idea of “what if I interlace this like this?”
My main passion is interlaced ornament: Celtic knots, Orthodox Interlaced Art, folk motifs, and anything that enjoys being beautifully tangled and meaningful at the same time. For me, drawing is less about the final result and more about the process — a handy tool for self-development, observation, and a quiet conversation with myself.
I’m also inspired by myths, legends, fantasy, and all kinds of mysterious stories — especially the ones you don’t just read, but slowly unravel. In a similar way, I’m quietly working on my own fairy tales and fantasy stories, inspired by folklore, knots, and old patterns that feel like they remember something. For me, writing is another kind of interlacing — only with words instead of lines.
I sketch, doodle, and experiment a lot, and I’m happy to share what I learn along the way — especially with those who are just starting out and secretly suspect that “I can’t draw” (spoiler: you can).
Here you’ll find my books, notes, and visual explorations. Make yourself at home, ask questions, and don’t be afraid of lines — they’re usually friendlier than they look.
