The renowned American decorator suggests ways to give rooms personality and includes photographs and plans that illustrate the imaginative use of color and design
Another 1970s interior decorating book, but I actually liked Billy Baldwin -- some of his interiors are still lovely to my 2019 eyes, and the way he talks about his work and his clients and his goals for space make a lot of sense to me. Most of it does not seem very relevant to how I live, but I am taking away a few specific suggestions (a way to build up a photo collage for a wall, some things about curtains) and an enlarged sense of possibility, which is really a lot for a random library pick.
