Nate and Riley. I didn't expect to like this book much at first, but it grew on me, hooking me in until I couldn't stop reading. We have two men who's relationship grows and changes over the course of the book. They're supposed to hate each other from the outside, but behind closed doors all bets are off and the heat sizzles! Absolutely loved it!!.

Well written fast read. Authentic MM hockey romance. Recommended. I have read a lot of "hockey" MM romances that the author changed the gender of one of the protagonists and added skates and a puck and called it good. This is not like that at all, this is the real deal!.

I enjoyed this book quite a bit, but the writing style was a little flat and repetitive for me. It reminds me of Cat Sebastian's style. I also could have done with some epilogue. That said, I did enjoy this book- I read it in a day and a half.
There will inevitably be a ton of comparison to Heated Rivalry, this has a lot in common with that story, but it is not the same story.
Rivals by Ruby Keller was an okay book. I enjoyed the plotline and the characters were okay, it was just a bit of a monotone feeling to me. I was able to finish the book but I probably wouldn't read it again, I would still read from this author again though.
Nice hockey romance with a lot of rules. How they both got pass them is a mystery. What they thought was a secret was an open one. However, love prevails and Nate and Riley do get their HEA!.

I finished this book by the hardest. It never got my interest fully engaged and I can fairly say it was boring. I read it all to see if it got better. It did not!
I only finished the book because I liked the main characters, but overall the book lacked emotions and feeling. Describing everything through trade jargon was so confusing at times.
I actually have no idea if I liked this which is why I gave it 3 stars. There was so much repetitive dialogue. I get that it was being used for emphasis but it also got old reading about the same things over and over throughout the entire book. Every time they started talking about percentages and stats I skimmed the paragraph. In some ways the book was just hard to read.
I got to 70% because I kept trying to give the book a chance, but it's written so robotically that I question if it's AI. This feels like someone trying to capitalize on the Heated Rivalry craze with absolutely horrific writing and no substance to back it up. If I could give it less than one star, I would.
