I really liked the beginning of this. It’s an amnesia trope, which I devour like a professional eater at a hot dog eating contest. Unfortunately, the angst largely burns out in the second half and I was skimming by the end.

Spoilery thoughts…

This starts with FMC leaving her husband. They’ve been married 8 years, and for the past six years MMC has completely ignored his wife. As she’s leaving the signed divorce papers she gets a call from the hospital. MMC has been in a wreck and she needs to get there asap.

MMC has amnesia. He conveniently can’t remember the past six years. The doctor warns FMC that if she tells him any distressing news he could DIE! MMC is thrilled to see her and has hearts in his eyes for his amazing wife. She tries to play along but he’s no dummy and can sense something’s wrong. His POV’s were fun.

He finally gets his memories back and realizes what an insufferable cad he’s been to his wife. There had been OW drama previously. He never slept with her but he was very tempted. There’s also a little evil MIL drama. I really wish the OW/MIL drama was amped up. I always hate to see angst squandered. 😢

A lot of the book is grovel and I got bored. He gets a complete personality transplant. I understood this before his memories returned, but after he’s the same heart eyed devoted husband. He was SO devoted that the original ghosting of his marriage made little sense. Like… I don’t think he would have cared at all if his wife divorced him before the amnesia. Those apathetic feelings just disappear. I didn’t get his motivations and that always annoys me.

I liked the story idea, but it kinda fell flat for me. 🤷‍♀️

This one is real good and on KU !

I feel like a prospector sometimes lol, looking for gold amongst the rubble when I’m on KU and this book is damn near gold for me. Let me preface with— I don’t normally do amnesia stories, but this story suckered me in and I was sweetly swept away with the grovel. I will say I wanted more gut punch moments but the grovel was just so mint that that it didn’t matter after a while. And wow, it sure did get steamy for a little bit there, but I was here for it bc like you’re rooting for them by the time it gets to that point. It did get a tad bit repetitive and rehashed stuff but shit, the writing was so good it didn’t matter. 4 stars !!

Ezra and Addison

Addison has been married to Ezra for 7/8 years but the last six have been bad. She feels totally alone and invisible in a marriage that her husband seems happy to put aside for work and a colleague. Wgen she finally decides to leave, Ezra has an accident and has no memory of the last 6 years and believes their are still very happy and in love. Little by little he discovered the type of man he had become and how much he had hurt his wife. And despite not remembering he is determined at changing and turning things around. Addison however has lost any hope and trust in him. Highly recommended

Neglected and Forgotten

This story is very interesting. It is full of angst and where there is no cheating there is betrayal. His own mother conspired to end his marry by introducing another woman. She hid the pain of being made invisible and forgotten. Then he was in an accident that gave him retrograde amnesia. She stays long enough to make sure he is healed. Now she must figure out what she is. Will he let go or fight for the woman who's loved him forever?

Having read several books in the *Billionaire Marriage‑in‑Crisis* series, one pattern stands out: these wealthy men consistently neglect their wives, whether intentionally or simply because they’re too distracted by business, power, or the people around them. They’re often manipulated by someone close — a business associate, a woman they work with, or even their own mother or sister — and that interference slowly erodes their marriages.

I enjoy these stories because they’re easy to read and offer a break from the chaos of real life. They pull you into the author’s fantasy world, where relationships are tested, emotions run high, and the drama feels both escapist and engaging.

This book fits perfectly into that theme. Ezra is a billionaire who has spent the last six years letting his business, his mother, and her co‑conspirator meddle in every part of his wife’s life. He’s forgotten six anniversaries, and Addison has finally reached her limit. She writes him a letter asking for a divorce — but before she can send it, she gets a call saying Ezra has been in a helicopter accident. He now has retrograde amnesia and doesn’t remember anything from the last six years.

The heart of the story is Ezra trying to win Addison back as his memories slowly return. He wants to prove he can be the man she married — and even better. Watching him rebuild their relationship while Addison wrestles with the hurt of everything she endured makes the story compelling and emotionally satisfying.

Overall, it was an easy, enjoyable read and a strong addition to the series.

This book was a pretty quick read, and it was not a bad book. So many times, I find a genre like this one where the drama is high and the story has way too many problems, but that wasn't the case here! I am pleasantly surprised by this one.

The story wasn't way too OTT. The mmc wasn't abusive or mean in any way. The MIL wasn't a crazy harpy (only slightly), and the OW conspiring with MIL was an interesting twist. I do wish there had been a little more consequences for her for trying to destroy their marriage, but otherwise it was good.

The story was one that is very believable and one I am sure that some women have actually lived (without the amnesia). It wasn't just one thing that pulled them apart, it was just a slow trickle that just kept getting bigger and bigger.

This book was so much better than the previous one in this collection. I do recommend it.

Good story

Ezra works all the time ignores his wife,Addison and forgets their Anniversary goes on a retreat with Claire his assistant. Then just as Addison decide's to give up and file for divorce they call her and Sara's plane crashed he has amnesia. It could cause him to have a stroke with she tells him the truth about their marriage. He only remembers the first six years not the last 5 that broke her heart. She agrees to stay with him and keep it a secret until he remembers! Good romance.

Ezra forgot Addison was the love of his life when work became his focus.
Addison's biggest mistake was never confronting her husband with his actions. She just accepted that he didn't care any more.
She was ready to bow out until an accident reminded him.
It took a bit of time for Addison to finally realize that he is what she wants. She just had to be sure he didn't revert back to the cold distant husband of before.
