This is a great novella to read if you want character, story, dirty talking and sex all delivered in one scoop of ice cream. Sasha has moved into her dead step-uncle's apartment to take care of it's sale for her mother. Dexter is the only other neighbor on the upper floor as he owns the complex. Sasha and Dexter's first meeting is definitely memorable. He's a complete manwhore with sex on the brain 24/7 and a different girl every night as Sasha finds out when the elevator lands on her intended floor only for boxes to fall out and knock over a girl Dexter is in the middle of fingering in the hallways, literally on display.
Dexter is one dirty talking, good looking son of a bitch and from the first moment he sets eyes on 'Barbie' (Sasha) he has it in his mind that he needs to f*ck her once to to get her out of his mind. Sasha is coming from her own backstory with men and dating and she's not going near a man like Dexter and so the cat and mouse games begin. Their bodies want each other but she's willful and sees him as a 'use em and lose em' and he's so socially awkward and running too fast from his demons through sex to approach her in the right way to get somewhere. Just as the story heats up and fireworks go off, the first series breaks with Dex having made a blunder and Sasha having reacted to that in a way that leaves him in a bind. Anxious to see what happens next as these two are hot as hell together and I also really want to know Dexter's secrets.
Easily read in a hour and a good dirty talking hot book. Thoroughly endorse especially when one's not up to investing heavily in a long journey!

Cliffhanger😵
Fast and fun reading. Dexter's determination to have Sasha in his bed goes way beyond the norm. A man truly controlled by his sexual appetite. Good storyline and a good start to the series.

This is a serial novella with a cliffhanger. The series is complete so it isn't really a big deal.
Sasha moved to Edinburgh to start over again. She was living miserably for months in London when her mother inherited an expensive flat near the ocean in Edinburgh. Sasha moved into the flat to help her mother sell it. What she didn't know was that the owner of the other flat in the hall, Dexter, would make it difficult for her to sell the unit. Dexter was friends with Joey, the previous owner of the apartment. He wasn't ready for anyone new to move in. His life was heading downhill ever since Joey passed away. Dexter became obsessed with Sasha and had no intention of letting her sell the flat until he had her. Sasha wasn't giving in to him that easily, she did not want to become another woman he uses for sex.
I enjoyed the book and will read the entire series! The editing was good.

Sasha's mother inherited an apartment which allowed her the escape from her past. Dexter is a hot wealthy womanizer with social issues. The first encounter between these two is awkward, angry and intense. As the story progresses, the angry and loathing increase but so does the sexual chemistry. A sexy tale.

Will he get what he wants? Sasha is such a great character she try's to stay away from Dex but as much as she try's she wants him as much as he wants her short read but worth it.

Dex and Sasha forever !
I gave this story 4 stars because the banter between Dex and Sasha was hilarious ! Dex was definitely a jerk, however his actions and thoughts really captured my attention. I'm really looking forward to reading part 2. The cliffhanger at the end, had me like o_O!

What a great contemporary romance novel. If you love alphaholes and strong women then this is the book for you. Dexter is wanted by everyone except his new barbie neighbour. Will he get what he wants? Loved it!!!!

I love finding books that are well written gems. The characters - Dexter: Hot Alpha male with attitude, sex appeal and a hidden dark side. Sasha - Sweet, demure, naive and knows where she stands. Opposites attract. This is a new author for me and writes very well.
