Let the sparks fizzle and die. It's not worth it.
For a book where one of the MCs is polished and put together and professional, the writing is anything but that... to the point where I wonder if they accidentally submitted a rough draft for publication. There's no way multiple people read this book multiple times and all agreed it was in an acceptable condition. Actually, I'm growing less and less convinced that humans were involved in writing and editing this book.
Starting off, there's an irritating plethora of typos: punctuation, spacing, using the wrong form of words, and missing words that make you reread the sentence because it doesn't make sense. Then there are paragraphs that are copy and paste repeated. Sometimes immediately after. Sometimes a page or two later like the author couldn't decide where she wanted those words to go and forgot to delete them from the losing location. Finally, my favorite error (and probably when I should have DNFed) was a note the author wrote to herself to come back and edit a section. Right in the middle of a chapter are the words: "This mostly needs the action and dialogue smoothed..." What's worse is that I honestly can't tell if she ever came back and fixed it.
The dialogue as a whole needed a strong editing pass. It seemed like every time the author didn't know what to write, she just slapped down some form of "Jesus" or "F*ck, you're so hot" or some repetitive throwaway line that was utterly cringey and ended with "baby." Also, several of the conversations (especially between Sawyer and Benji) felt repeated or out of order timeline wise or didn't flow in a way where the response was on theme with what was previously said, almost like there were two different conversations jigsawed together, but not in a cool subtext kind of way.
So much of what was missing in this book was the emotional depth I expected from an adult story. There's a perfect setup for Addison to have an amazing journey of unpacking why she still clung so hard to "perfect" appearances, of growing her confidence in standing up for herself, of putting her happiness above someone else's antiquated expectations, and there eventually was a tiny bit of all that, but mostly it was the same emotional beat, the same fear, the same avoidance over and over again with no new revelations. That shallow writing carried over into the surface level nature of her relationship with Sawyer. Instead of feeling like they were building a relationship based on genuine love and understanding of one another as a person, it read entirely physical, like horny teenagers having a summer fling and making rash, illogical decisions. (MINOR SPOILER AHEAD) They couldn't even last a weekend apart without having a FaceTime freaky time, and yet when Sawyer is rushed to the hospital, Addison's impulse is not to head there immediately, it's to go visit her parents and finally tell them...?
Despite all the flaws, I did appreciate the variety of queer characters that populated Sawyer's friend group and the care taken to represent them respectfully.
I swear I went into reading this book ready to love it. I've been having a somewhat difficult time finding books with sapphic characters in their thirties. I initially did not realize this one would fit into that category (happy surprise!). Even without knowing their ages, as soon as I found out about this book I was so excited for the themes and Addison's emotional journey in a cutesy little romance. I put the release date in my calendar. I added it to my Kindle Unlimited list. I even looked up what time books were released on KU to be prepared. But I guess it's true when they say you can't judge a book by its cover, because while Sawyer does indeed look "so f*cking hot" on the cover, all I got out of this book was burned.

Cee Steele just gets better and better with each book!! I adored this. Sawyer and Addison are the definition of opposites attract but it works soo freaking well. Their chemistry was on fire. Both characters were layered and complex. I was scared that I might not like Addison, but I fell in love with her.
I especially appreciated the relationship between Benji and Sawyer. He was an amazing friend and brother but I loved his and Sawyer’s conversations, especially the one about Addison coming out. It showed that he respected them both, didn’t want to see either of them hurt, but also understood the situation. Usually dating your best friend’s sister can complicate things, but there is the level of respect and emotional maturity that is there that allows Benji and Sawyer to navigate those waters fairly easily. It was refreshing to see such emotionally mature characters throughout the story.
Like Benji and Sawyer’s conversation, there were many important conversations and points made throughout the novel. I found myself highlighting so many quotes that resonated with me. I think with today’s society, we often forget how scary coming out is and that it’s something we have to do everyday for the rest of our lives.
I’m sure there is a lot more that will come to me later that I want to say about this book. There is no perfect book, but Sparks Fly was pretty close, especially with the perfect time jump of an epilogue.

This was such an effortless read and I enjoyed every minute. The 2 FMC’s were so likeable and I was rooting from them for from the very beginning.

Cee Steele is one of those authors that could write a retelling of the phone book and I’d pre-order it. This is the third time I’ve had the opportunity to ARC read for her and every time it gets better.
Sawyer Wilson. That’s the whole sentence. I don’t have words to explain the crush that I developed on her character. Physically, a hottie. Personality, a sweetheart. Sawyer Wilson is the book girlfriend you’ve been waiting for, come meet her. Addison had my heart in shambles, to feel like she had to take on the role of the perfect daughter so Benji could live his life happily was heartbreaking. I was fully rooting for her to let go of her parents’ expectations. I’m so glad she was able to grow in the book and allow herself to find happiness. Both main characters felt relatable and the development of their relationship was mature and well paced, in my opinion.

I've heard and reposted books from this author on platform ls just from reading the Blurbs and hearing snippets of an audiobook and I've added all of her books to my endless TBR list but getting the awesome opportunity to ARC this book was like eating a fresh baked warm cookie 🍪 out of the oven and you just enjoy every piece until it's gone and still want more. Yup, yeah that's exactly how I felt about reading this storyline with the surprisingly naughty Addison and even more surprising sweetheart of a woman named Sawyer. These two together created such a burst of joy within me while reading their easygoing and playful love I might just have to push all of her books to the top of my list. I absolutely loved Benji and the way he loved his sister Addison and even developed a stronger friendship with Sawyer in the process. I would like Benji to have his own book please and thank you! All around awesome creation and I really enjoyed this book that now I might even want a "Whiskey" IYKYK 10s across the board!

I loved this book, I loved the characters and it was all round brilliant. Addison and Sawyer are so loveable, their attraction is immediate and they work so well together.
It is beautifully written and depicts a realistic sapphic romance that encounters real life issues. There is a late coming out element too which is so relatable for people. Also, the representation in this book? Incredible 🤌🏻
Tropes included are opposites attract, found family, hidden relationship and more. Whilst reading, I made a note about the found family element because I loved the way it was written and the characters involved.
Sparks Fly made me feel all sorts of feelings and I’m so happy to have been on board this journey again with Cee.

I don’t write reviews very often, but my goodness Cee Steele this book was EVERYTHING. Thank you for making a book about two people falling in love with each other without barely any conflict. I loved how much Sawyer let Addison explore herself without having to be polished. This book is nothing but soft love and them living their lives.

I am officially in love with Sawyer. Like HEAD OVER HEELS, someone come get me, because I am not okay. I truly don’t have words to express just how much I loved this story! I went through the entire gamut of emotions reading about Sawyer and Addison. I laughed, I swooned, I got frustrated, I got emotional... You name it, I felt it. There were so many sweet, funny, sexy moments, but there was also real hurt and vulnerability underneath it all that made me get soooo attached. I really was rooting for their happy ending. Cee Steele really got me with this one, and I loved the whole dang thing! This one def earned all the stars!!

Sparks Fly, Masks Fall, Hearts Open
Sparks Fly had such an effortless quality to it that I found myself settling right in immediately. The story felt believable in a way that made it incredibly easy to get invested, with characters who were messy, flawed, kind, and human. The obstacles felt grounded in real life, and even when the answers weren’t neat or easy, they still felt authentic. It made the whole story feel less like characters overcoming manufactured conflicts and more like watching people slowly figure out how to actually live the lives they want.
Addison and Sawyer were both such wonderfully layered characters. Addison polished and composed, meticulously scheduled, and so accustomed to being the version of herself everyone expects that she barely knows what exists underneath it. Sawyer, meanwhile, is a laid-back breath of fresh air who brings a calming ease into everyone's world without ever trying. Her own struggles with letting people in show that being seen as a carefree person doesn’t mean you’re carrying any less beneath the surface. At the same time, there’s something about Sawyer that makes Addison feel safe enough to take off her carefully practiced mask and finally see what happens when she just lets herself be herself.
Their relationship starts with that spark of intrigue and possibility before becoming something much more raw and real. As they get to know each other, there’s this gradual shift where Addison starts letting go of the rehearsed version of herself she’s spent so long maintaining, while Sawyer begins allowing herself to be open and vulnerable and realizing she doesn’t have to carry everything alone. Despite the comparatively short timeline of their relationship, Steele makes it feel like Addison and Sawyer have known each other for far longer (which, honestly, is such a quintessential sapphic relationship experience). Neither ever tries to “fix” the other. Instead, being together gives them a place where they can finally be honest, seen, and choose paths for themselves all in their own time.
The journey toward being fully seen and loved and accepted as yourself is woven naturally through the story. A huge part of that comes the groups of friends we meet (especially Benji) who were all the epitome of "found family." They’re there when you fall apart, offer compassion instead of judgment, and their love never feels conditional. A heartwarming reminder that finding where you belong isn’t about fitting yourself into the right place—it can be about finding the people who make you realize you never needed to pretend in the first place.
This story carries such a powerful message for anyone who has ever felt like being loved or accepted meant hiding parts of who they are. There’s something incredibly comforting about a story that can leave you feeling both emotionally wrung out and genuinely hopeful about choosing yourself. I was laughing, crying, raging, and swooning the whole way—and finished feeling like maybe finding where you belong has less to do with fitting in and more to do with finding where you finally don’t have to.

This was my very first ARC read ever so first and foremost, I would like to thank Cee Steele for trusting me with this beautiful story. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to read this in advance and it was such an honor.
I love saphic books sooooo much and there isn't many out there so I was super excited to get my hands on this ebook and honestly this was super cute!
Right from the beginning, you knew exactly how to envision the main characters like I could totally picture Addison being a baddie, handling her business and looking like a total babe doing it and don't even get me started on Sawyer! I was literally left swooning for Sawyer lol I mean she has a buzz cut on the side of her head, she rides a motorcycle, and she gets down as a welder. Totally hot! It was all so seamless, I loved the author's writing so much and all the inclusivity and representation was just heart warming and healed my inner child a little bit.
The story is about Addison who made it her life's mission to be perfect so she could protect her Trans brother Benji against the scrutiny of their parents. She stepped into the permanent role of the "perfect daughter" in hopes that her parents would stop being angry with Benji for being trans. She basically moved through life into adulthood as a performer, conditioned to maintain appearances acceptable to society and the public eye. So the story follows Addison as she navigates this double life and the impact this has trying to keep them separate from eachother. This felt super relatable and it tugged at my heart strings because everything she did, gave her brother Benji the freedom to step into who he was authentically but at the cost her own authenticity. She' perfected her performance and an appearance that she hardly ever got to slip out of it, that is until she locks eyes with Sawyer one night at a bar.
After they introduce themselves and start to develop a connection, the relationship blossoms in such a perfect organic way. Sometimes romances can come off cheesy but this! This was a perfect development for me in the perfect saphic way!
There were some inconsistencies that I guess aren't a huge deal but they did kind of take me out of the illusion of the story. Like for example, when Sawyer went to meet Addison at a restaurant after Addison ended things with Jason, the description clearly stated that Sawyer was wearing TROUSERS but when they went back to Addison's apartment, it said that "Sawyer stripped out of her JEANS". Another example like this occurred in chapter 18 when Addison was getting ready for their date and it stated that she wore a CROP TOP but at the start of chapter 19 when they got home, it changed to a "BLOUSE UNTUCKED", Like I said, maybe its just nit picking but it made me stop and go back to reread the sentences because it confused me and it just pulled me out of the illusion.
For some reason chapters like 30 to maybe 38ish, I felt a little bit disengaged. Its not that I was bored, but it was a long stretch of filler like it took a little bit to get to point and the plot but once we got to the plot, it started to pull me back in and tied everything up. The ending, stop! It was so cute! I don't want to spoil it but this is a feel good book with a happy ending thst was just so cute, but I kind of wish that after Addison confesses she was considering kids, that we actually got a slice of that. Like a "2 years later" bonus moment.
All in all, I loved this so much. I actually give this a 3.5⭐️ but i hate that Good Reads doesn't have that option. The development of the MCs was my favorite part about reading this because it was so fluid and relatable. The spice was like 4/5🌶 and I can totally see myself recommending this. I'm so excited for its release and I hope everyone loves Sawyer and Addison as much as I did. I will definitely be adding more of Cee Steele to my shelves!
I love saphic books sooooo much and there isn't many out there so I was super excited to get my hands on this ebook and honestly this was super cute!
Right from the beginning, you knew exactly how to envision the main characters like I could totally picture Addison being a baddie, handling her business and looking like a total babe doing it and don't even get me started on Sawyer! I was literally left swooning for Sawyer lol I mean she has a buzz cut on the side of her head, she rides a motorcycle, and she gets down as a welder. Totally hot! It was all so seamless, I loved the author's writing so much and all the inclusivity and representation was just heart warming and healed my inner child a little bit.
The story is about Addison who made it her life's mission to be perfect so she could protect her Trans brother Benji against the scrutiny of their parents. She stepped into the permanent role of the "perfect daughter" in hopes that her parents would stop being angry with Benji for being trans. She basically moved through life into adulthood as a performer, conditioned to maintain appearances acceptable to society and the public eye. So the story follows Addison as she navigates this double life and the impact this has trying to keep them separate from eachother. This felt super relatable and it tugged at my heart strings because everything she did, gave her brother Benji the freedom to step into who he was authentically but at the cost her own authenticity. She' perfected her performance and an appearance that she hardly ever got to slip out of it, that is until she locks eyes with Sawyer one night at a bar.
After they introduce themselves and start to develop a connection, the relationship blossoms in such a perfect organic way. Sometimes romances can come off cheesy but this! This was a perfect development for me in the perfect saphic way!
There were some inconsistencies that I guess aren't a huge deal but they did kind of take me out of the illusion of the story. Like for example, when Sawyer went to meet Addison at a restaurant after Addison ended things with Jason, the description clearly stated that Sawyer was wearing TROUSERS but when they went back to Addison's apartment, it said that "Sawyer stripped out of her JEANS". Another example like this occurred in chapter 18 when Addison was getting ready for their date and it stated that she wore a CROP TOP but at the start of chapter 19 when they got home, it changed to a "BLOUSE UNTUCKED", Like I said, maybe its just nit picking but it made me stop and go back to reread the sentences because it confused me and it just pulled me out of the illusion.
For some reason chapters like 30 to maybe 38ish, I felt a little bit disengaged. Its not that I was bored, but it was a long stretch of filler like it took a little bit to get to point and the plot but once we got to the plot, it started to pull me back in and tied everything up. The ending, stop! It was so cute! I don't want to spoil it but this is a feel good book with a happy ending thst was just so cute, but I kind of wish that after Addison confesses she was considering kids, that we actually got a slice of that. Like a "2 years later" bonus moment.
All in all, I loved this so much. I actually give this a 3.5⭐️ but i hate that Good Reads doesn't have that option. The development of the MCs was my favorite part about reading this because it was so fluid and relatable. The spice was like 4/5🌶 and I can totally see myself recommending this. I'm so excited for its release and I hope everyone loves Sawyer and Addison as much as I did. I will definitely be adding more of Cee Steele to my shelves!

I love the versatility of both characters and how they show their loyalty to each other in different ways, but ultimately giving each other exactly what they need.
Found family and the crossing of lifestyles is uplifting and makes you root for Sawyer even more.
Addisons bravery for standing by the person she loves as well as supporting her family before her own identity.

There are so many reasons I love Sparks Fly. Let's start with Addison. She is struggling so hard with doing what is expected of her versus being able to express her true self. She's known for a very long time that she's bi but she's pushed that deep down. She knows that the men her mother wants for her, who “look good on paper,” aren't right for her. But she's afraid to take that leap forward, to make waves, and I have personally been there.
When Addie said that sometimes her whole life felt like she was “cosplaying as this polished, picture-perfect version” of the person everyone wanted her to be, I cried. I knew for quite some time that I was queer before I came out and during those years, I walked around feeling a crushing weight on my chest, feeling like I, too, was playing a part.
However, what makes Addison's situation even more complicated is her brother, Benji. When we learn why Addie has had to be the perfect daughter, things start making a lot of sense. The relationship the two siblings share is one of my favorite parts of the book.
So, Addie is living under all this pressure, while everything about her true identity is just simmering away right under the surface, and then, one night, she sees Sawyer across the bar at her brother's birthday party.(Here's where the sparks start to fly!)
While instantly attracted to each other, they also hit it off right away. Some of my favorite parts are their early DMs on Insta. The level of humor in this book is perfect!
Sawyer, on the outside, is this gorgeous masc welder who comes off as tough and mysterious, but she's got a heart of gold and is extremely kind and patient. She allows Addison to feel seen and to be herself for the first time in practically her entire life. It is a joy to see their relationship develop and to watch Addison learn to live authentically even though it is terrifying.
I also wholeheartedly enjoyed many of the supporting characters. Sawyer's chosen family and friends are fantastic, as are Addie's brother and her friends. I appreciated the trans and enby representation as well.
I believe that Sparks Fly is Cee's best book yet and I hope y'all will go grab a copy today!

Wow. This is a fast pace novel but damn does it work. Polished and put together, Addison, is going through the motions of what her life is supposed to be through expectations of having everything perfect. Sweetie, that ain’t living. Then there is harding working Sawyer, who works with her hands and rides a motorcycle. It isn’t just the name of the book, but sparks fly.
Through Addison’s perspective, you really feel for her. She’s got this almost duel personality, only because what she wants to be and who she has to be. She’s relatable because at some point in anyone’s lives we all have been there to different degrees. When Addison finds that confidence to be herself as a whole, she really blossoms. That is a beautiful character arc.
I love how Sawyer is patient and kind, but doesn’t let it compromise her feelings. She stands up for herself, even when it hurts her. Sawyer and creative with metal working, so hot! Don’t forget the motorcycle riding! Beautifully written character.
Also love to Benji. No judgement awesomeness and truly just wants them both to be happy. That’s the kind of friend and sibling you need, who pushes you to have those uncomfortable conversations and calls out the behaviors.
I love the intrigue both characters have of meeting each other, that initial spark. Then the way they get to know each other, share things about themselves no one knows. I am so grateful to Cee for letting me be an ARC reader for this absolute GEM of a book; however, I now have yet anotherrrr book character crush! Gahhh! It was written very well and is the second of Cee’s books that I have consumed (I listened to the first one) and I cannot wait to read more. I also requested a sequel that would follow Benji’s journey toward finding his perfect partner, while giving us little glimpses at what life is like for Addison and Sawyer after their story ended here. *fingers crossed* I love when novels have strong “bonus little side quest characters” (obviously this is my foolish name for them) like Benji, and I love that he was so solidly connected to both of the main characters’ lives...and got even more connected at the end of the book. As I always say, any book where the characters call each other “babe” and/or “baby” are automatic wins for me; it is a silly and specific that always makes me give a book an extra ten points of love in my soul. This story is written in a dual perspective framework which was lovely as it gives the reader wonderful glimpses into the emotional turmoil and growth that either side of the relationship experiences. Cee captured key moments in their relationship and gave realistic timing of the various difficulties they were facing, especially Addison and her ongoing struggle of essentially living a dual life. Their lives could not be more opposite from one another, but Sawyer and Addison are exactly what the other person needed to complete their hearts. There are some varying emotions felt by the reader as you go on their journey, and some big “ohmygosh” moments. This book was a 10 and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys sapphic love, romance novels, good writing, and sexy welders.

Cee Steele creates characters to fall for, and if we're talking who fell first, well I'll say I fell harder for Sawyer than Addison, but came around to love them both.
The conversations were so important in this story and having the common link of Benji, Addison's brother and Sawyer's best friend, helped to push conversations and bring out the feelings of both the lead characters. He didn't let them be comfortable and pushed to make sure they both were called out on behaviour when it was needed.
I understand how Addison felt she had to act with her family, how she felt the need to be perfect, and when she found the confidence to be able to be true to herself was a great arc for her character.
Sawyer is kind and patient, but not at the expense of her own feelings and happiness. This was a brilliant way to write her character to show that she can stand up for herself, even if it hurts her heart. Plus, she's a motorcycle riding hotty.
Highly recommend this book if you like masc/femme, found family, and being true to yourself. Where wanting someone you don't think you can have, turns into the best relationship ever.

I loved everything about this book! I first read a beta version that was so good, but reading the ARC after Cee made a few changes, I fell that much more in love with these characters and their story, both as individuals and a couple. Let’s talk about Sawyer, sweet sweet Sawyer. She is bound to be everyone’s new book girlfriend for the foreseeable future! Understanding is an understatement when it comes to how she is that’s not even the hottest thing about her! She knows how to care for her lady and looks amazing doing it! That being said, don’t sleep on Addison. Addie feels like such a strong representation of what it’s like for so many of us to embrace our true self and be okay with putting our wants and needs first. Living authentically is such a privilege and isn’t always the easy choice, Addison shows that in such a smart and accurate way. She also makes organization look like an Olympic sport and honestly I’m here for it! The supporting characters are perfect in their roles and how they help shape this story! Cee really created a world I would love to be in, playing darts at Blake’s or Top Golf with the gang!

Addison was instantly relatable. When she shoulders the “perfect daughter” role to protect her brother, she feels locked into her role. However, when she goes to celebrate Benji's birthday, she sees Sawyer and feels a long hidden part of her reawaken.
Sawyer is the kind, patient, supportive woman we all wish we could have had. Her calm demeanor really does a lot to help Addie learn who she really is and find the strength to finally own her life.
The relationship is careful and so sweet. Sawyer being a true gentlewoman and letting Addie take the lead when she needs.
These two are going to be on my mind for a long while.

What an incredibly sweet story. I love when there's healthy communication in books and Cee Steele nailed it with this one.
The relationship between Addison and Sawyer began with instant attraction at Addison's brother, Benji's, birthday party. The DMs between the two on Instagram were so real and reminded me of how my wife and I started our relationship after meeting each other irl (it was Snapchat for us).
Sawyer was my favorite. She was so patient through Addison's struggles with figuring out how to come out to her family and friends. An understandable challenge for many. Learning about her childhood was brilliant for the character development. Just incredible writing. Addison and Benji's relationship warmed my heart every time they had a scene together. I also enjoyed the support the 2 FMCs got from both of their friend groups.
Overall, this was a very wholesome and feel-good book. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a lovely story added to their TBR.

Addison Hart has spent her entire life doing what’s expected of her, portraying the prefect daughter. Then she meets Sawyer Wilson, who is bold and unapologetically herself. Can Addison embrace who she truly is and her feelings for Sawyer or will she maintain the status quo.
The attraction between the MCs is instant and their relationship progresses naturally. The writing can be a little repetitive but the story is cute. If you are looking for a quick, light read, pick this one. Sparks Fly a low angst HEA without the third act break up.
While it looks like I was lucky enough to not get the edited draft that was uploaded to KU, but the copy I got still had some editing issues. I’m assuming “sAshley” was a placeholder to edit because it appears multiple times. There were also other typos.

A sweet, slow-burn lesbian romance. I appreciate the representation of difference queer characters and different cultures. I don't love a slow burn but, I have grown to accept it since I like reading romance. Predictable ending. Everything gets resolved.
Spoilers: I find it frustrating when a main character decides it's time to come out when presented with death (hers or that of a partnesr or parent). After the near death experience, the character has a line like: "I'm not coming out because you almost died but because I love you". What? You are definitely coming out because she almost died. You didn't grow a pair, you didn't have a choice. This is lazy writing. Sometimes people break up because one person stays in the closet. Sometimes people die before they can make the right decision. That's life.

Wow! I swear each book Cee Steele writes gets better and better! This story scratched every single itch in my brain and filled my heart with so much love. I cleared the entire day for this book bc I suspected I wouldn’t be able to but it down once I started it. I was so right in the best way! Laugh out loud moments, and the giddy first love feelings had me enthralled! The tears I swore I woundn’t shed, in fact came flooding! From at first sight, till the end, these characters handled their past traumas and fears respectively and maturely. Found family and new. Handling everything with careful communication. Together, not alone! By far, Addison & Sawyer are my fav characters in her books! I wish I could wipe my memory and read it again for the first time! 10/10 rec.

The characters are so complex and I absolutely adored the supporting characters (especially Benji). Sawyer’s constant patience and reassurance towards Addison was refreshing and sweet. Sawyer and Addison’s chemistry was electric from the beginning. I found myself highlighting and bookmarking so many conversations and moments in the book. This was my Cee Steele book and WOW. I’m now on a mission to read every book she has out so far because of this book!

I really wanted to like this book but there is, literally, no substance to it. The chapters are very short, redundant, and sort of on fast forward. Steele spends zero amount of time fleshing out the story and background for these two characters.
Every chapter is the same thing:

I'm not joking, like every chapter was the exact same thing written out.

It’s a book about finding yourself and having the courage to stand up for who you are. Addison has been trained from childhood to behave a certain way, and as she begins to break free, she is forced to reassess her entire life—her job, friendships, and relationship with her parents.
At the same time, it’s a beautiful story about falling in love. We’re there from their first meeting, the first DMs, and everything that follows. The author writes beautifully, and you really feel for both characters through the ups and downs.

Cee Steele had me absolutely transfixed by this book! Addison and Sawyer were delightfully complex and layered characters and every interaction they had put a smile on my face.

In the end this book is a beautiful story of being true to yourself and finding the people who accept you as you are.

This is the first Cee Steele book I’ve read and I couldn’t put it down.
I really loved how Sawyer and Addison met, flirted, and fell in love. Their progression happened so naturally the way it has for so many of us in real life who have ever fallen for someone. The book was written to show a lot of small moments, making it more believable.
I literally loved that these two know how to communicate effectively with each other; we love mature MCs. The climax of the plot felt a little rushed, but it didn’t bother me too much.
Bonus: both MCs are super hot. 🔥

I got the honour of being an ARC for this book and absolutely loved it. The story flowed well and I loved the found family aspect of the story. Having read some of Cee's previous books I loved seeing the similarities and the little Easter eggs thrown in.
If you loved Cees other books you won't be disappointed with this one. Well worth the read.
