It gives you the basics...

Good enough to start. He has good recommendations. Given that it's a free ebook, I won't comment on the lack of training plans.

Very basic stuff. Discusses training in very broad terms. Discusses things like “wear a helmet on the bike” (really?) and tips for transitions. If you want an in-depth training manual, look elsewhere. That said, some useful tips.

In a word, incomplete. Wets the whistle and gives some basics, but cannot be a full guide without offering a training schedule. Still, learned a lot about transitions and the importance of brick training.

A short and concise book regarding the basics of triathlon training and race setup. Quite handy for beginners, but seasoned athletes will hardly find anything useful here.
