Omg I think I’ve fallen in love with a man young enough to be my son!!!!! Mia Fury has once again made my fall in love with her newest MMC. I tell you, this woman has a unique ability to write these bad guys with mountains of issues so beautifully that you can’t help but fall head over heels for them!!

Stag is such a mixed up beautiful character. I wanted to reach through the pages of the book so many darn times, to hug him and reassure him, but Claudia beat me to it, and I wasn’t happy!!!

He has such a fragile soul and his confidence is so small, it’s a mere speck on the largest of landscapes. I can so relate because I do the exact same sometimes, in order to hide my own inadequacies I meet a comment with humour or change the subject. It’s so hard to feel like a part of something when you feel so inadequate within yourself.

Stag is a beautiful soul, his heart is always in the right place. His mouth is part of his self protection wall, in my opinion anyway. We all have these walls, some, like mine and Stag’s are so thick it takes something exceptional to break through.

I loved seeing his interaction with the guys and the cherry on top has gotta be the cameos from the Bennett world. Danno, sigh…………
Watching Stag navigate the two worlds was great to watch unfold. And I think that if there’s anyone who can find his way through both parts of his life, it’s Stag. You could see the realisation, as the book progressed, that Stag started to understand the two world and reverse his initial negative outlook. Seeing with his own eyes that the Bennett world was as much family as Phoenix was. And watching Stag change with the love bestowed upon him and how he began to believe he was a part of something special and he belonged was magical to watch. You can almost see his heart and soul take their first deep breaths into relaxation that all could be right in his world.

Claudia is such a beautiful person. Her shining light leaves a mark on every person she comes into contact with. She’s so open and direct, but with a softness that matches her soul perfectly.

Watching her navigate the world with her impairment was so insightful and showed Mia’s talent off perfectly once again as she portrayed the world of silence Claudia lives in and the way she adapts was just wonderful and awe inspiring.

I love the way she is on her feet immediately, her stance firm when she comes to Stag’s defence when he’s misunderstood. She didn’t care for the comments and made her opinion known very plainly, not only was she right but she was so awe inspiring. Her impairment doesn’t hold her back at all, in anything. She’s adapted and by the end of this story she is thriving and it’s the most beautiful sight to see.

I hate the pain and suffering she had to go through with someone who took love and those protective instincts to the extreme, but her strength throughout the ideal was so inspiring, her strength was staggering.

I loved getting glimpses of Henley, Harley, Micro and the other guys and seeing how their lives are progressing, it’s like meeting up with old friends.

Mia Fury knocks it out of the stratosphere with every book she writes. Her talent truly has no bounds and I thank goodness every day that I found her books, because she is one of the very few, actually the only author I’ve read whose characters have issues that are so relatable to many of our lives today. She does this is a way that not only makes you feel less alone, but also understood and seen, if that makes sense.

Phenomenal read, as always.

I'm obsessed with Stag!! SO, SO, SO, Good!
I can’t begin to explain how GOOD Stag, book five in the Phoenix MC Series is. I believe Stag is my new favorite compared to all the others.
The Phoenix MC series is one of my all time favorites out there. Stag is a rough around the edges, smart mouthed, biker President who’s socially weird, which I loved about his character, his whole vibe really. Stag becomes her silent protector, lovingly stalking her. He sees, meets Claudia, who sees past all that, and wants to protect her and keep her while navigating the club. While Claudia, who’s deaf, falls for Stag, her controlling, twin sister tries to take over her life and goes crazy psycho rampage.

I wasn’t sure what I was going to get with Stag, but as always Mia did an absolutely amazing job with his story.

He was super cute! Yes.. there I said it. Stag was cute. He had a lot of layers to him. He was misunderstood. He was just trying to find his place to fit in.

Claudia was the perfect FMC for him. I loved her attitude to life, she wasn’t going to be hold back or let alone walk all over her.

Then we had the added bonus of seeing a few of our favourite Bennett characters in this book!! I was so excited. There’s never a dull moment with them around.

I’m loving the Phoenix MC series world and I’m sad we’re getting so close to the end.
