I didn't want this book to end. I want to keep reading about Zagreus and Selene forever - only to know they're happy and safe. After everything they've endured, they deserve the world.

I'll be the first to admit that I hated Zagreus in His Dark Claim. Then I read His Eternal Claim, and everything changed. This book acts as a prequel to their story, answering so many questions left behind in Book 1 while completely changing the way I viewed him.

We get to witness their childhood, their past, and how they were used as pawns to strengthen alliances within the Cosa Nostra. Despite the impossible position he was put in, Zagreus did everything he could to protect Selene—even when it was tearing him apart. Every harsh word, every painful decision, every sacrifice he made had only one purpose: keeping her safe.

Selene was conditioned to hate him, but Zagreus patiently made her fall in love with him over and over again. Not with grand declarations, but through gentle touches, quiet reassurances, soft smiles, and all the little things she never knew she needed.

What fascinated me most was watching a man who could win wars and defeat anyone stand helpless against something he couldn't physically fight—psychological manipulation. How do you battle an enemy that's buried deep within someone's mind? And yet, he never stopped trying. Nothing else mattered to him. Only Selene.

This book is a beautiful testament to the lengths a man will go to protect the woman he loves. It's heartbreaking, tender, and filled with quiet sacrifices that make their love story unforgettable.
The epilogues gave them the happy ending they both deserved, but somehow, it still wasn't enough for me.

After everything they went through, I am wishing for just a little more—a glimpse into the peaceful life they fought so hard to have. Some characters are simply impossible to let go of, and Zagreus and Selene are definitely two of them.

Oh my goodness! I desperately needed this book. I had completely forgotten about the cliffhanger, and I couldn’t wait to find out what happened! You finally get the answers you were missing, allowing you to piece together everything from the first book. I couldn’t put it down; it was incredibly captivating. It kept me on edge the entire time, as I was constantly switching between the past and present. It was simply amazing, and I couldn’t stop reading it. Zagreus was incredibly intense, and Selene was the one who tamed the beast within him. It’s incredible how the story unfolded, but it was still so good. Can we please get Judas Romanovski’s book? I’m dying to know how his story started. I was left intrigued by him, and I can’t wait to find out more.

At this point I'm obsessed with whatever story Luna Sads writes. Her books are truly a hidden gem. I devoured His Eternal Claim like her other books. Zagreus and Selene have a special place in my heart forever, their story was full of trauma, pain and love. I loved the fact that Zagreus never gave up on Selene. Selene… My poor, poor girl. She endured so much pain and trauma. I'm glad they got their hea at the end. Thank you Luna Sads for giving me the opportunity to read your amazing story.

I don't even know what to say. This book is what I expect every DR author to read, cause the way he was ready to burn the world for her, yet couldn't fight her own thoughts, is what makes this so emotional and good. Everything hit right, and I literally cried, cause what do you mean he gave up everything for her. His throne, his power, his family, EVERYTHING!

Must read.
