Hanna is beautiful, but she doesn’t see herself that way. After ten years of marriage, she’s recently divorced and has started dating Aaron. At first, he treats her like she’s his world, but it doesn’t take long to see what a terrible man he really is.
Nathaniel is the gorgeous, quiet, gentle rockstar and lyricist for His Locked Heart. He’s completely in love with Hanna, but unfortunately, she has him firmly in the friend zone. He sees how Aaron treats her and tries to make her see the truth, but Hanna can talk herself into believing just about anything. 😂
So Nathaniel suffers in silence and pours his heartbreak into his music. Thank God he can write songs, because without that outlet, the poor man might have had a stroke!
The slow burn was making me postal. These two become incredibly close, Hanna tells Nathaniel everything, and he quietly loves her for FOUR YEARS without even a kiss. I was 60% into the book thinking, “COME ON ALREADY!” 😂
But when they finally confess their feelings, it was absolutely delicious and worth the wait.
I finished this book in twenty-four hours because I simply couldn’t put it down. It was sweet, sexy, romantic, and Nathaniel completely stole my heart.
5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I really hope the author gives us stories about the other band members!

Another wonderful read from this talented author. I always find her books to have real characters and she has a flair for brilliant romances. A great storyline, with Hanna and Nathaniel being deep, vivid and strong characters.
I ended up devouring this in 1 sitting and loved the concept, the journal, the song lyrics. I also learnt about PNSD which made for interesting reading, and learning.
I loved to hate some characters, and was cheering on others strongly. I think this is primarily down to getting the two points of view. More of this in romance please!

Book was ARC from Book Sirens.
I loved the premise because Hanna had a career that she excelled and really loved. I liked
Nathaniel was the character who was a member of the rock band that Hanna was PR manager for.
I might be out of the ordinary because the lyrics ending the chapters I would just skip. More poetic types would probably enjoy.
Somewhere we lost a few characters in the story and I felt adrift not knowing what happened. (Not Aaron, I hoped he was doing poorly).
Overall, great premise and settings. I loved Colorado and London....so yeah 👍

Hannah thought Aaron was her predicted third and final love. However truths reveal themselves and the tides turn. Hannah finally realizes what's right in front of her is her true love. And it took Nathaniel a long to voice his love to Hannah. I admit I was a little impatient.
This story is unique and I enjoyed reading it!
