These aliens are full of shit. And D4ve knows it. His wife kind of thinks well of him now. And his son is "bonding" with him. Also looking at recordings of D4ve kicking alien ass. And going through his weapons.
D4ve is fired and scheduled for termination, as the Aliens want to take over his job. He is pissed, and his war buddies don't want to help him kill the aliens. Thankfully, all those dumb aliens did was initiate Phase 2, which gives him license to kill them all.

I vaguely found myself going, "Eh, if the aliens win it would only serve the robots right, since they wiped out so many species, including our own." Then I wondered if animals felt this way about us. That if our robots don't take over and kill us all, will this be what we are? And this was just a lot of introspection for a comic to give!
