Troy Bronson, a twenty-two-year-old whose football career vanished after a knee injury, is in dire straits. Desperate for money, he stops by a gay for pay studio thinking he can score some quick cash. He chooses a hot twink for his first appearance, but there’s a burly stagehand in the studio when he arrives, and he just can’t pull his eyes away.
Great stories should not depend on gender or sexual preference of a character, but instead upon the strength of the characters and the honesty and urgency of the story. Brandon Shire proves he understands the complexity of writing LGBT fiction from two very different viewpoints – serious and smexy. His serious fiction is written for those who enjoy a book which explores life’s darker elements in a more literary form, while the smexy fiction is for those who enjoy a graphically erotic romance. Regardless of the differentiation above, Brandon writes for people who enjoy being challenged, and for those who strive to understand situations they don’t typically encounter. He pens raw, emotional stories about characters which readers will either love or love to hate. Life and love are pretty damned special, but neither is always perfect. Life can be painful, and real love hard to find. Brandon’s fiction is an exploration of the (sometimes) arduous search for happiness we all desire.

In a nutshell 34 pages of hot smut. Any questions?
Erotic Shorts: Gay for Pay - Football Jock is a steamy little number for in between. I liked it. Although when I look at the title it should say Hot Shorts instead of Erotic Shorts. That's my quibble and mine alone because what might come off as erotic to you isn't necessarily to me. I've been mulling this over a few times already and…maybe it was the camera. Then again, I remember that playing in front of a camera can be hot and erotic as fuck. Hot Head, anyone?
Warning M/M and M/M/M
Recommended to those readers who need a mindless fuck to cleanse the palate and boost their Goodreads Reading Challenge 2015. In this sense, it did suit my purpose.
This new series of shorts by Brandon Shire promises to be pure reading PLeAsuRe, so long as you understand the premise. These are straight up erotica. No holds barred, Porn on the Page. And as someone who has said I'd rather read it than watch it, this suits me perfectly.
The blurb tells you everything about the gist of the story, but really it's all about the bang for the buck. And there's a hell of a lot of BANG here.
For me, when it comes to porn on the page, and PWP, it's got to be about the senses. Can you see it, feel it, taste it and smell it? And the descriptives here are spot and steamy.
This is easily a read-over-and-over-again, one-handed gem. And I can't wait to see what Shire has up his sleeve for the next one.
Enjoy!

Hot little number from Mr Shire. Troy, the closeted former Jock who needs money...like yesterday, and the only way he can think of to get what he needs is some 'gay for pay'. He's straight (yeah, right!!) and very nervous about what will be expected of him, but Brandon (the boss) and AJ the cameraman are there to help...as well as Danny, a very attractive twink, who apparently is also straight **coughs**.
4 stars from me, and I loved the line 'What position did you play?' I asked, 'Tight End' he replied as I almost spewed water all over the desk'...chuckle, chuckle.
Wow! Off the scales hot, intense erotica. I think my Kindle started to melt, it was that good. Characters well developed for a short and I can see the thread of a theme for a series of scorching Erotics. I'm just glad Mr. Shire has chosen to use his powers for good!
Erotica, it’s in the title. This is Brandon Shire’s version of erotica and OH. EM. GEE.
I caught a slight cocky smile tripping up the corner of his lip.
Gah. This writing + erotica = Fun. Times.
Also, so very sly of you, Mr. Shire, sneaking the plain truth amidst the fun: sex isn’t the same thing as sexuality.
Also again, he includes a part of Troy’s circumstances that is true for many.
This steamy, gleaming gem is told through the point of view of the owner of the studio producing the films in which our protag, Troy Bronson, decides to take part for the first time. This owner, Brandon, is smart, knows his business and employees, and neither he nor any of those behind the camera try to hide their own arousal at what goes on in front of the camera. I think that’s what adds even more heat to this: on camera is hot but behind the scenes is scorching and, when the twain do meet? Holy hotness, Batman, get your freezers filled with ice, you’re gonna need ‘em.
We switched cameras just as the small spray of Danny’s pubes bunched up against Troy’s lips. The look of pure ecstasy on Troy’s face confirmed it. He loved having a cock in his maw.
I freakin’ love that. It made me squirm and laugh at the same time, which is the best.
If it ever becomes a possible thing to do, I’m putting in my order right now for Brandon Shire to write all the erotica.
This is hot as hell. Melt your boy or girl bits in the best of ways hot as hell. Steam up the entire room hot as hell. This is the kind of PWP I can get behind.
Make of that what you will. Just know you’ll get guaranteed results with this read.
