You absolutely have to read these in order and I know that’s intimidating but you will not regret it. They are way too short but come out consistently and you’re in for such an adventure.
This is the first in a LONG awaited journey of Annani and Khiann and it’s just enough to get us started and foaming at the mouth for the next!
I am seriously missing the early books spice levels but we are getting way more story now.

Disappoointed
Who wrote this one? It seems rushed and there are double spaces between 1/2 the dialog like we have pages to fill, to heck with content. The greatest love story of the whole series is finally going to happen and I feel nothing for them, they are boring, petulant and come across as unlikable. All of the sudden the Goddess is insipid and her great lost love is portrayed as nothing but a lost teenager who is suffering from an inferiority complete. Please do better!!!

My happy place
I love reading this series, its my happy place. Finally Annani have her true lovemate back. I hope and pray Ms Lucas you are not ending the series soon? There are so many characters to write about. And you have a fame base willing and ready to consume (read) what you produce for us. Usually one month is a long time for impatient readers like me to wait. Continue the storyline I will patiently wait, even if it gets to 2000 books or more.
If you haven't started reading this series yet oh you are so missing out on a beautiful story that will make your day a happy one. And if you are just starting, I so envy you on the feeling you are getting on the discovery of the amazing world I.T Lucas has created. Buckle up and get ready for the sweetest ride in the amazing world of goddess Annani and her clan.

Love Conquers All
The cliche provides the perfect example of what Lucas brings to life in this segment. Through every challenge and all obstacles love once again is victorious. Five millennia, lost memories doesn’t mean anything when love shapes the soul. Heart wrenching and soothing at the same time. Dissonance served hot that makes you want to read more.
If you haven’t started reading this series yet you are in for a treat! And, don’t worry if you have to start at book one, you will go on a journey that will make you feel like you are on an emotional rollercoaster! Buckle up for you’re going to LOVE it.

Too many things
Many things are happening right now in the series, there are many unresolved issues as well, like Maddie’s status, we don’t know whether she’s a dormant or no. Dimitris situation as a new immortal. We want his PoV.
I know Annani has waited very long for her true love mate. But in my eyes she’s like a mother figure so I really didn’t like reading her parts lol.
I am going to skip her and Khiann’s love scenes if they occur in the next two books. IT Lucas really writes well how a God or an immortal will behave. The selfish thought or entitlements can only come with immortality or Godliness hahahaha

A real page turner
This installment was hard to put down. A lot happens, and we hear from so many characters, each from their own point of view. Annani is helping Khiann remember who he is and what they were together. The Eight still share consciousness but are also showing more individualism. Ms. Lucas really takes us into the minds and souls of all these characters so we are really feeling what they are feeling. So well written and keeps you coming back for more and looking forward to the next book.

Khiann is improving and remembers things he was told which is an improvement. Annani is helping with his recovery. He realizes his dreams are memories. Hopefully as he spends more time with Annani their relationship will bloom anew. While Sullha and Yaaf relationship becomes deeper and is quite rewarding. But Sullha starts to have pain. What could it be? The eight move to the village. I can’t wait to see what develops from their integration into the village. The next book should be very interesting with Khiann and his guards out of the clinic and living in houses so many new possibilities.

Now that the men have woken up, we are seeing Annani and Khiann's love story continue, even if it's not how she had hoped. I'm so excited to meet the other men that were in stasis, and to see Khiann completely whole again. The island is in control along with the new alarming event in the dormant enclosure. This series just gets better and I'm absolutely loving experiencing the goddess having her true love mate back. Can't wait to see where this series goes, hopeful it will continue on with no end in sight!

Annani and Khiann's second book
This was a wonderful 2nd book for Annani and Khiann. Khiann is improving along with his guards. So much hope for their future and I can't wait for the next book.
The Eight negotiate with Kian in the hopes of moving to the village. That could bring more sub plots in future books for them which I hope.
The island with Losham at the helm and how that all plays out will be intriguing to see in future books.

okay I loved it!!!
I loved this book. The character growth and the family dinners are everything and so funny. I’m glad that annani is getting a chance to be front and center I love how extra bossy she is being in this book. I m so curious as to what’s going on with syssi and if she has seen something. Also I’m happy that one of the eight got a mate. I can’t wait for the next book.

Brilliant Series

Khiann is awake and he and his 4 friends are on the long road to recovery and Annani is over joyed. Losham with the help of the Clan has eliminated all his rivals. All those rescued from the island are now in the village, Navuh and Lady Areana are to follow.

Dark Destiny: A New Thread in the Tapestry is book 111 of I.T. Lucas's The Children of the God's series. This book is just as well written and full of new storyline as great as in the first books of the series. From start to finish this book will have you invested in the Clan Mother's amazing love story. After over 5000 years and through over 100 books in the series Annani finally finds out Khanni's fate. Waiting to see how their new lives will fit together is going to be amazing.

Oh man I'm so riveted to the story right now. The recovery of the warriors and Khiann was so interesting. It was nice to see Sari a bit after so long. The romance with Yaaf has been fantastic and I'm kind of excited for the other guy's sister and Mr. grumpy pants. The scientists are still super curious to me. Like all this info is being given by Margaret to the new residents but Mattie and Anita aren't in those talks... scientist's ladies might get surprise transitions.
Can't wait for the October release.

Another part of Khiann rehabilitation after being revived from stasis, Annani holding strong reminding him of their short life together, sweet and memorabl. Enclosure is being revamped, Dave has a purpose in the village ( will this assist them in becoming more individualized? Definitely devoured this book due to the well written page turner. Absolutely a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

COTG 111 - So good!
This series has kept my attention with intriguing twists and turns throughout the years. It is as always well-written and has taken my mind to exciting places but not so out of the realm of possibility that it makes me roll my eyes! And I keep waiting impatiently for the next installment.

Khiann has been in stasis for 5000 years. Annani finally has her prince back . Will he remember they are true love mates? Dave is living in the keep will Kian allow him to move into the village?

Finally!
Ananni finally has her Prince back after 5000 yrs, but the road to recovery stretches in front of them. This book did not disappoint! Sulla and Yaaf are finally together as a couple. The island is under control. Can't wait for 112.

Book 111 was just as good and just as promising as the rest. I can't wait for 112. YAH THAT SOME have finally awaken and YAY that Dave is finally home!!

These recoveries from stasis are so slow and boring! I still don’t care about Yaaf & I dread having to go through seven more romances with the hive mind.
