When high-school senior Kai Tamura sneaks into Ms. Opal's classroom to steal the upcoming trigonometry exam, he sees her changing answers on her students' standardized tests, and he takes photos to prove it--then when no one believes him and he is suspended, Kai sets out to prove the truth, even though it means ruining a popular teacher whom he likes.

Reading this story, the concepts that many young readers have opinions about, those of cheating, decision-making and justice, all come into play.

Kai Tamura, a senior high-school student worried about his marks, decides to sneak into his maths teacher's classroom to steal the trigonometry exam. Hiding in a storeroom to avoid being caught he sees her changing answers on her students' standardized tests. Taking photos to prove it, he doesn't decide to do anything with them until his friend is disciplined by the same teacher for cheating. Publishing the photos gets him into a lot of trouble when nobody believes his photos are authentic and he is suspended. Kai must prove his innocence even though it might mean that he ruins the career of a popular teacher, one whom he liked until this incident.

A high-low book, where the main character decided to reveal photos of his teacher cheating on standardized tests. He has to defend his decision, without revealing why he was in a position to get those photos in the first place.
