The FINAL book in the Clockwise Collection!
The stress created by Casey's recent split from Nate causes her to trip back in time in a haphazard manner, and not always to the same time! Sometimes she's in 1929 Boston getting more entangled than ever with the mishaps of her new and not-so-helpful friends, and at other times she's back in 1775 trying to make sure the colonists still win the war of Independence!

Will the craziness ever stop? And will she and Nate work out things in time for graduation?

I absolutely love this series....after the last one I just had to see what would happen next! This one actually had a whole lot going on in it which is in contrast with the usual laid backness of the others. I kinda have mixed feelings about what was going on. I liked it but don't think some of the details were explained as well as in other books in the series which made me not like it as much.
A must read though for this series. Ended great and had many twists and turns that were unexpected but unique and great.

Interesting take on time travel etecetera. CLOCKWISE: A young adult time travel romance. (The Clockwise Series Book 1) CLOCKWISER: A Young Adult Time Travel Romance (The Clockwise Series Book 2) Like Clockwork: A Young Adult Time Travel Romance. (The Clockwise Series Book 3) Counter Clockwise: A young adult time travel romance (The Clockwise Collection Book 4) Clockwork Crazy: A young adult time travel romance. (The Clockwise Collection Book 5) CLOCKED: A young adult time travel romance novella companion to Clockwise. (The Clockwise Series Book 6) ; also received copies could review if wanted to, but since review everything I read....

*Note on Amazon shows #4 here as #6, don't know what that does to order of books, think it put #4 on goodreads so pushes #4 there to #5 here and then #5 to #6 here instead, the book in question is the only novella

This series is wonderful! I have loved all of the books, it has been an exciting adventure. This last book has had some major twists and turns, which left me unable to put the book down.

(Spoiler Alert)
I think it’s great how she gave Casey and Nate some time apart, but in the end their love was still there. The ending was beautiful. I hope the author writes another one so we can see more into Casey’s life as an adult and her new setting in NY 1800’s. I really enjoyed Casey learning to control her time travel, it sounds like she will be able to enjoy her real life more, and make visits to the past a good experience.

I really loved this series, in fact, I read all 6 books within a week. This last book was actually my least favorite. It felt like there were too many problems stuffed into one book and it wasn't completely clear how they were all solved. I almost quit reading the last few chapters because the plot wasn't going the way I wanted it to. Although the ending was still great, it took a long time to get there.

I don't have much to say about this one. It was a decent ending to a good, yet forgettable series. There were a lot of plot holes and inconsistencies. There were also several plot points that were introduced, only to have little to no influence on the overall story. Despite all that, the cozy feeling was still present throughout the story.

I thought this series couldn't get worse after the last book. This one has too much going on and reads like a teenager wrote it. There are so many mistakes in the book; it's like it was written on a phone and autocorrect took over. I had to force myself to finish it.

When we first met Casey she travelled in time but she had it handled.
Now Casey doesn't know where she'll end up when she trips. It could be the 1920s or the 1770s. Every time she trips she finds herself in another timeline which she doesn't recognise. Friends become enemies and vice versa.
We find ourselves following Casey as she tries to fix what changes were made in the past so she can find her way
home.
This is the last story in the Clockwise series. Really enjoyable series.

A very strong ending for the series, I'd been at least as worried as Casey for a while there.

I think I have a new favorite Clockwise book!!
This was the perfect finale... But bittersweet in a way too. I can't believe that I just binged the entire series in a few days.
I NEED to learn how to pace myself on books. That way they'll last longer.
Now, I'm not saying that I WANT to pace myself more...
I'm just gonna miss this series. A lot.
This book had its ups and downs, made me irrationally frustrated, laugh and cry.
It was SOOO good. She gets to time travel to new places and times, (which was awesome, btw), and I just loved it.
I'll admit that Elle tricked me about where the book was going.
*frustrated sigh*
I might have just lost my self announced title, (as I put it in another review) as plot sniffer. I literally didn't see any of the big plot twists coming.
I wouldn't really call this book a romance, but there are a few kisses, (mostly in different time lines with Nate). But I think it was better as a not-romance-romance.
Casey did annoy me at times, but I was able to brush off her annoying behavior and bad decisions because its CASEY.
So, yes, I loved this book. And I loved the ending even more!! It ties everything up just perfectly, and the ent skin building in the last few books is FINALLY over.
I didn't take notes on the content while I read, so sorry of I missed a thing or two.

CW/TW: Some kisses, mostly undetailed, one with a four sentence description, embraces, some mild physical attraction, Casey watches other couples kiss, mentions of dating, boyfriends and girlfriends, two breakups, (a breakup between Casey and Nate, one other with Casey and whats his name), a guy tries to go into Caseys apartment but she doesn't let him, mentions of how Austin kissed Casey in the last book, (she didn't want him to and he forced it, she pulled away), mentions of exes, some mild physical attraction, noticing muscles, noticing guys height and broad shoulders, a guy is called cute, a mention of a guy staying at a girls house "overnight" (he didn't, and it would've just been for a party), mentions of a show girls outfit that looks like a Gymnastics leotard, Casey's bets friend is with Nate in an alternate universe
some physical fights, punches, remembering a gun shot, a mention of a guy being a creep, some arguing, they go to a bar, (Casey won't drink because she's underage), mentions of flappers, flapper dresses, many mentions of the great depression, (some of the book actually takes place pre great depression), mentions of makeup, Casey wears eyeliner, mascara, and eye shadow, and blush, (she doesn't usually wear that much but has to so she can fit in back in time), a girl betrays someone, (she's doing it for good reasons and feeding a guy incorrect info during the war to help save her country), a mention of "Nate being willing to knock the lights out of any guys who like Casey,"
Casey can time travel, she accidentally changes what happens in the future by the past, (but she fixes everything), there's not any other magic content than that.

Spoilers for Clockwork Crazy and the series!

This was a fun series and I feel that it ended on a high. I'm well past the target demographic but enjoy young adult fiction, especially anything related to time travel. This series had lot of reliable tropes and repetition, mainly involving Casey and company returning to the past, falling in with friends who watched them vanish weeks before, only to watch them do so again and excuse it quickly.

The series began with two books from Casey's perspective, one from the perspective of another time traveler, a vignette from Nate's perspective, and then a two parter to conclude Casey's story. These last two books made an effort to blow the hinges off the series, breaking Casey out of her 1863 loop and sending her spiraling into 1929, with a side trip to 1775. Lolly and Marlene were insufferable and I can't say I enjoyed the time there (and was grateful Casey slams the door on them) and while 1775 didn't offer a lot, connecting with another time traveler was a fun diversion.

Much of these last two books dealt with Casey returning to a timeline that had been impacted by something she'd done in the past, involving her home life changing and her friends dating the wrong people. In one case her father had died. In another the police officer descended from Willie Watson was not there to take a bullet for Tim, so he angrily took one himself. I appreciated the Back to the Future-esque feel that we've messed up the timeline, although in several cases I'm not sure how Casey was supposed to have done it. Lolly being "a modern woman" seems to have thrown off Casey's home life upon return, but I can't figure out what happened to kill her father or remove Officer Porter from the timeline. Perhaps she sat on a butterfly? Maybe that was the point?

I strongly doubt that the failure of Paul Revere would lead to America still being a British colony 250 years later.

What did work for me was the character growth. Casey decided she no longer needed Nate, who really got on my nerves these past few books. That she later changed her mind organically worked fine. She dated someone else and it didn't work out. That's how it's supposed to go. She found a new family in 1863 New York, and will presumably get to see her friends again at the farm upon her return to Cambridge, thanks to a sit-down with an alternate version of Sam. It's a happy ending, one that like in all good stories tells us that the story will go on after we stop reading.

This was just.... all over the damn place.

As this series continued, my enjoyment of it dwindled with each book. I wasn't really anticipating that I would like this book, but after Nate and Casey's breakup in the previous book I was hopeful that there would be some dramatic changes set up for this novel. However... what we ended up getting was the author jumping from idea to idea without ever fully realizing one before moving onto another. Casey is still immature, and her values contradict themselves at annoying intervals. One chapter she is

And then at the end of it all, we got the worst

Overall, I just wasn't a fan. I feel like there were some good aspects of this story. I loved that we got to see Samuel again. However, this book just read like the author had WAY too many ideas and should have instead focused on developing a couple into a better story.

The crazy in the title said it all. This story took me all over the place and I wondered how it would all end. Poor Casey is in so much pain through most of this story and I felt for her because my one and only broke up with me on valentines day and I didn't see him again for three months. Our story ending was similar to this one minus the time travel of course. I loved all the new people and the new times and the interesting things she had to do to fix time. It was good to see Casey grow and learn from her experiences. At times I wondered if everything would be fixed or if her life line would be gone forever. I loved the ending, but of course didn't want it to end. I think I would love to see how things went after this. How would Casey ever be able to be married and have a family. Maybe she would be able to control it fully by then. It would be interesting to see.

Wow! What a wonderful conclusion to an awesome series! At the end of the previous book, Casey had to trip back to fix the changes that she and Nate had inadvertently made to the past in the hopes that she can make their timeline return to normal. But even as she ends up fixing the past, is the present still broken for her and Nate? The stress and shock of their breakup sends Casey tripping back to the 1920s and into the path of ANOTHER time traveler. He sees Casey as a kindred soul and takes her back to the time of Paul Revere... who just happens to be Paul Jr's father! Paul Jr wants Casey to help him make sure that the historical midnight ride goes as planned. Should Casey interfere? She knows, now, that everything she does in the past ripples up to the present... How can she know what the right choice is?

Casey trips back and forth in this book, ending up in time lines that are just not her own. Including one where Nate is with Jessica! Can anyone help her set things right? Will she get back to her time line, her family and friends? Casey grows a lot through this book, finding the strength she needs to handle just about everything... But maybe not Nate and Lucinda!

I received this book free in echange for an honest review. I love this series!

When we finished with COUNTER CLOCKWISE, none of us readers knew what to expect. Casey’s life was spiraling out of control; messing with her personal life and her time traveling life as well. With the way things were going she may have changed the world as she knew it for the worse. Only time will tell if she will be able to right all her wrongs...

There is no easy way to review this book without giving away major plots and spoilers. But I loved it! I quickly read through this book and loved every second of it. The not knowing of where Casey would end up every time she tripped was what pulled me in. And if she ended up changing her present world was what had me hanging on to every word. I was scared about her future. So many things were changing with each trip that you never knew what to expect.

If you have been keeping up with the amazing series then you are most definitely going to want to read this book. If you haven't caught up this far in the series, then what are you waiting for? Hurry!! It is a must read! 5 Stars!

The title says it all...Casey Donovan has a giant crazy adventure without her close friends while dealing with her breakup with Nate, changes in her time traveling abilities and the consequences of the time travel in her current time period. Casey even travels to a new time period-all the way to the birth of the US. She even gets to meet a couple of people instrumental in it. It was an epic adventure as Casey deals with the usual young adult rites of passage of finishing high school, first love, being in a serious relationship and the insecurities of inexperience while also having to deal with her time traveling. We get to visit with characters from the earlier books and it was nice to have a conclusion for all of them. It was a fit ending for the Clockwise series and I will miss reading about Casey and her friends. Maybe one day there will be a novella of Casey as an adult.

For a while there all of Casey's "tripping" in the book had me tripping in my head. The poor thing was really reeling from her break up with Nate and was heading into one messed up time line after another. I'm so glad that she finally found the help she needed to set things straight. (nice touch there by the author, but I'm not going to be handing out a spoiler here).
Although I must admit I was very surprised that after all that she went through when she didn't have Nate, she refused to get back together with him when he did finally come calling. Although I loved the fact that she was so much more confident about her own abilities and had the conviction that she could survive anything on her own.
The book showed just how far Casey had come from being a frightened teen to a mature young woman who could handle anything.

There are some great things about this book. The twists and turns in the book mimic the turmoil of emotions that a teenager goes through especially after a break-up. I was a bit confused by the time lines being more parallel than actually just one future...and I am not sure at what point Casey decided that they were as well. I wish that Strauss would have brought some of the lessons that Casey learns in this book into previous books instead of leaving them for the last one - i think it would have made for a more interesting series.

I never really got into the book and really only continued reading to finish the series.

From a MOM's POV the series is clean, and i would have no issues with my daughter reading the book series. Though I do not think that she would enjoy it.

Loved, Loved loved this book series! I may not be a YA, but enjoyed it just the same!! I did not want the series to end!
Casey's time traveling messes with the time line! Ever wonder what a parallel time line would look like? Elle Strauss has explored this with Casey and her relationship or I should say relationships with Nate! You will want to read Clockwork Crazy cuz it ties up a lot of the loose ends from the first 4 books. Page tuner to the end!

I received a free copy of this book for an honest review.

This series went from great to sort of meh. I don't like that the author decided to change the way her time travel worked. "By the way, now it's like Back to the Future!" I understand she needed more content but honestly it was really confusing and I didn't like the rules changing...

Plus the ending was long-winded. Why couldn't she just end it like 40 pages sooner? It honestly seemed silly to me to draw it out for a pretty lousy reason: "to grow and mature" (for all of three months?)

Maybe we'll get another Adeline story? Not sure but either way I'm okay with this ending.

A wonderful conclusion

This historical young adult time travel saga will grab and keep you up until you finish. Well written with believable characters you fall in love with. Each of these segments bond together in a cohesive manner creating a universe that you want to be made whole. This tale will entertain you from the first page until the end. I would love to see this explode on the big screen. Great job. Very clean without the need for the usual steamy bedroom scenes.

I haven't had a book hangover in a while, but I got one after finish this book. Although I agree with some other readers of this series that the romance was a little juvenile and the reason for the time travel wasn't fully explained, I still enjoyed this series a lot. Strauss set up a lot of new stuff in this last book which made me wish she was going to add more to the series. I would like to spend more time in this world.

Another great time travel story from Elle Strauss. I love all the adventures and trouble she creates. I find myself constantly rooting for things as they happen. And do they ever. From changing history and having to set it right to alternate home scenerios. It's a can't put down book. Can't wait for the next one

A fitting finale to this time-sweeping series. This installment, though still riddled with editorial misses, was much more concise, flowing from timeline to timeline with very few hiccoughs along the way. The series as a whole was fun, imaginative, historically accurate, and clean. I'd happily recommend it to ages 11+ (a mature 10 would not have issues following the timelines).

Well, this one was probably the first book in the series that was actually really interesting. The time jumps were really wild and exciting at times and I found myself actually having fun.
But
Why.. the... hell... is... everyone... in... this... goddamn... series... so... damn... stupid
