Q & A style book with lots of visual aids. Large heavy format is a bit physically awkward to read.

This was my bible when I was pregnant. It addresses all the possible questions you can have. I also loved the illustrations and diagrams. I'm definitely more of a visual learner so it really helped me out to understand what was happening inside my body. I also felt better prepared going into labor and having the baby. Definitely recommend to first time moms looking for information.

Great format with mostly Q and A style pages. Thorough with lots of pictures. My only issue with it is the order of the chapters.

"The Pregnancy Encyclopedia" by Paula Amato

This is such an informative book. I enjoyed reading about each phase of pregnancy week by week and the development of the foetus. Then towards the second half of the book is where all the baby stuff starts and oh wow - was that loaded with helpful information. From what kind of clothes the baby needs to how many diapers a day the baby will go through to what temperature the baby room should be set to, there were lots of great tips in here. I would highly recommend this encyclopedia to any new parents.

Excellent illustrations and information. Loved the weekly charts and illustrations tracking the progress. I wish I would have looked at this even earlier in my pregnancy. Very handy to refer to with each new week.

This was a very educational, well laid-out, and HELPFUL book regarding the myriad of questions that inevitably arise when someone becomes pregnant. This book definitely helped alleviate some of the concerns my wife and I had before (and after) the birth of our first kid!

Giving birth to a child is truly amazing.
The women carefully nursed the baby in their bellies for 10 months.

This book is well worth reading for women as it contains many frequently asked questions and answers before, during and after pregnancy.

Highly recommended. Touches on practically all the questions you could possibly come up with during pregnancy and postpartum. Also has week-by-week break down of what's happening. I liked that it was a new publication so I wasn't looking at old school photos of pregnant women from the 90s. One of my favs to go to so far.

Really great book! Has great illustrations and useful information, probably the most attractive and useful reference book I've seen for pregnancy and newborn care. Loved it.
