A much needed book for moms to read! Very practical, giving moms lots of specific application points to help them get organized, while providing the frankness we all need to hear when we are tempted to the sin of laziness. An encouraging read for moms who are learning to embrace the blessings of motherhood.

It’s amazing to meet a book that immediately takes a high spot on my list of mom-must-reads. This little treasure is my new go-to for a baby shower gift, just-because gift, and reading group suggestion.

The subject matter is so broad, with chapters spanning meal planning to making mom-friends, but the spread of it felt just like the spread of my day. It all manages to remain cohesive despite its many facets, and I’m enjoying already implementing so many of the ideas in these pages.

I love the way the four sections and subchapters are organized, and will definitely be going back to my favorite parts for rereads and reminders.

I stand by the whole of this book, with the caveat that she is a little soft on screen time, comparing screen games to board games and wondering why we villainize the screen. I would fall more in the cautious camp regarding gaming benefits due to addictive patterns I saw in my family growing up, especially in the strategy games she highlights. Granted, this was just one paragraph, and I found the rest of her stances SO refreshing and helpful.

My favorite feature is how it’s so practical in its theology, and so theological in its practices. Shade gives a beautiful sweeping picture of motherhood’s place in God’s redemptive story, but also a mini biblical apologetic for each “mundane” task to take up with excellence. I highlighted something profound every few pages, and many practical tips to implement too. Oh and definitely wept for joy more than once, especially in the “Remembering Your Why” chapter.

Honestly, this would be a great read even for an unbeliever with a passing knowledge of Christianity as well, to see how all of life is touched by our kind Lord and His goodness toward us. Great gospel discussion opportunity there.

I give five stars to books when I can’t stop trying to make other people read it. I’ve already suggested this to four other moms, and it’s not even out yet.* Five stars from me!

A quick, practical read, broken up into four areas that you can read in order or dip in and out of as needed.

I love the way the author explains the why alongside the how, with practical examples that can be implemented straight away.

This book is one of my favorite, most practical parenting books I’ve read. Organizing Life With Littles is an empowering and validating read for any mom. It provides gentle reminders and encouraging scripture passages that reminds every mom that even in the most mundane tasks, she is doing eternal work for the Lord. This book also provides practical steps for all facets of mom-ing from laundry to managing screens to rest. As I turned the page to each new chapter, I always found myself feeling excited to keep reading because the next topic seemed to be something I was hoping for more insight on. I highly recommend this book for any mom with littles that could use encouragement and support on this high demanding, highly important journey of motherhood.

A great book, with easy to implement, practical tips on how to manage the chaos that is keeping a home while keeping tiny humans alive (and learning to thrive!) there are some wonderful little tips and tricks in this book, from laundry ideas to meal planning to how to handle sick days and finding mom friends. This would be a great gift for the first time mom, a very easy read that can be read straight through, or flipped to a specific chapter of an area you are struggling in. I love that the author kept everything rooted in Christ, and tied it all together with biblical principles. There’s also some great encouragement in the last section for when you might feel like you just aren’t doing enough. Overall I enjoyed reading and love that I’ll be able to refer back often if I feel chaotic in a certain area of our home!

This was a simple read to making an easier life with littles running around.

I will say, I already do many things in this book and I said a few times “Cool! Me too!!!” But the chapter that spoke to me most was cleaning the home. I loved how it ultimately showed me I didn’t have to keep holding the expectation of cleaning the ENTIRE home in one day…or so many hours. Making one (or 2) room(s) that gets the hefty cleaning that week. I truly hate cleaning, but this made it seem easier to chew.

I enjoyed being reminded that when nap time ends (I think it’s around the corner), that quiet time can replace it and I also deserve that quiet time too, especially with a 4 month old and 3 YO at home and 2 more at school. While I’m ‘mom’ now, I’m ‘me’ first.

Recommended for moms with littles!

The title is really the perfect description for this book. It’s like having a wise Titus 2 woman at your fingertips giving you very practical, straightforward, Biblical advice and encouragement.

I loved the division into short sections which made it easier for me to read in short pockets of time. It also jumps right into actionable steps to solving problems mom’s face. It truly feels like she covered all of the most important basics of family life.

Definitely recommend this book for any mom with littles!

Going on the re-read shelf!!

This book has both biblical wisdom and practical advice for the Christian wife and mother who is just trying to serve her family to the glory of God.

I know I’ll be returning to this one even if just to reference the quick tips for organizing or a simple recipe!

Highly recommend this quick read!

As a mother of 8 children ages 3-22 this book is one that I would have benefited from as a young mother and still find encouragement from as an experienced mother. Filled with Biblical wisdom and practical application Kelsey’ book points her readers to a focus on the blessing of being called to motherhood. I will be recommending this book to others.

This was a great summary of many tips that I've heard from many places all combined into one place. The author share great suggestions for juggling the many things mothers deal with. I really appreciated the scriptures included and ways to prioritize what is important.

A book about far more than organization…

Organizing Life With Littles delivers on practical tips for managing a home and family and I appreciated that it goes much deeper.

As a Christian wife and mom who homeschools and believes that what happens inside our homes matters eternally, so much of this book resonated with me. I don’t simply want a home that runs efficiently or children who know how to complete a chore list. I want to faithfully steward the family God has given me, raise children who understand responsibility and obedience, cultivate a strong marriage, and create a home where our priorities reflect what we say we believe.

I especially appreciated that the author doesn’t treat routines and organization as an end in themselves. There is a spiritual dimension to the ordinary rhythms of family life, and I loved seeing that acknowledged.

There is something deeply encouraging about being reminded that the seemingly mundane work of meals, laundry, schedules, discipline, and caring for children isn’t insignificant work.

The chapter on discipline particularly stood out to me because the goal presented isn’t merely producing well-behaved children. The author connects discipline with discipleship and points toward raising children in Christ rather than simply controlling behavior. That distinction matters tremendously to me.

I also appreciated the emphasis on marriage alongside motherhood. Our culture can very easily make children the center of the family, even unintentionally, so I appreciated having an entire chapter devoted to intentionally nurturing marriage rather than allowing it to survive on whatever time and energy happen to be left over.

And perhaps one of my favorite things about this book is its practicality. It doesn’t pretend motherhood is an Instagram-perfect existence. There are chapters on laundry, meal planning, cleaning, getting everyone out the door, screen time, sick days, mom guilt, friendship, marriage, and those bittersweet changing seasons of motherhood. These are the things we’re actually dealing with every day.

I also appreciated seeing the importance of the local church included. For a Christian family, church should not simply be another activity squeezed into an already overcrowded calendar; it is part of the life of the family and an important source of fellowship, discipleship, and community.

What I probably appreciated most, though, was the overall tone. This isn’t a book telling mothers that if they can just find the perfect planner, cleaning schedule, or morning routine, they’ll finally have everything together. It’s much more realistic than that. There is wisdom in creating order, establishing routines, teaching our children responsibility, and guarding our family’s time—but ultimately we still need grace and dependence on God. I especially appreciated the reminder to call on God when motherhood and life feel overwhelming.

As someone who is very intentional about our home, our children’s education, our faith, and the kind of family culture we’re building, I found myself agreeing with so much of this book. It feels less like a book about “organizing your life” and more like encouragement from another mom who understands that we are managing homes full of people we love—and that the goal isn’t perfection. The goal is faithfulness.

There will always be laundry. There will always be another meal to cook, another schedule to organize, another child who needs something, and probably something in the house that nobody can find. 😂 But these years are short, and the work we’re doing in them matters.

Five stars from me. I would especially recommend this to Christian moms, homeschool moms, moms of multiple children, or really any mother who wants practical help creating a more peaceful and purposeful home without losing sight of why she’s doing it in the first place.

What a wonderful book that came at just the right time! I am currently in the throes of parenting littles, a 3 year old and 8 month old to be exact, a task that is not for the faint of heart. One particularly difficult morning, I prayed that God would give me some type of guidance or encouragement, and wouldn’t you know that Kelsey emailed this book that same day.

I truly enjoyed the encouragement throughout the entire book. As a full-time working mom, this book did not 100% apply to me. However, there were so many nuggets throughout Organizing Life With Littles, that it was absolutely worth the read. The first and last sections were particularly motivating and heartening. The reminders of Biblical truths were, and are, exactly what I needed to stay focused on the ultimate prize, seeing my children love Jesus now and forever. Organizing Life With Littles is like sitting with a wonderful, God-fearing mama who has gone before and picking her brain for all of the helpful tips to get through. Not every tip is perfectly applicable, but one idea begets another. I would recommend this book to any mama raising little ones. The going gets tough, but books and authors like this remind you that you were never doing this alone.

This book feels like being discipled by that sweet lady who has been through life and is happy to help. It has been such an encouragement during the wonderfully hard time of raising little humans. The chapters are small with lots of bench points that made it very easy to get a section and come back when I had the time. Kelsey does not sugarcoat the things that I struggle with as a mom but she doesn't leave it at just calling it out either. She gives helpful, encouraging ways to fight against your own pitfalls. Kelsey makes sure to include the scriptures that she was thinking of in her writing so you can more easily measure it against God's word. I really appreciate how she speaks of her own experiences but doesn't expect everyone to have the same experience as her family. If you or a momma you know are in need of encouragement, this is a great book to start with and help you change your mindset from the muck to the true blessing of raising little souls. Thank you Kelsey for pouring out God's love through this book.

(advance copy recieved from the author in exchange for an honest review)

I throroughly enjoy reading books on homemaking, organizing, and mothering biblically, and this book was no exception! This concise book presents many of the gems that I've stumbled across in other places, unique insights from the author, as well as some intensely practical help for a mother such as me in this demanding season with small children. The book felt like that much desired coffee date with a slightly older mom who loves the Lord, loves her children, and loves you enough to tell you about the truth, goodness, and beauty to be found in motherhood, as well as strategies for how to create such an atmosphere in your own home.

I'm planning on making this book part of baby shower gifts in the future!

Wow! This book has just become my new “must have” for young Moms. When it’s released, I plan to buy copies to go in every baby shower gift I am able to give.

The author is so very practical with her advice and yet offers it with open hands. Her biblical rooting is so encouraging and I cannot say enough about how good this read is I plan to reread this over and over again for as many years as I’m blessed to have Littles in my home.

I loved being able to pre-read this and cannot wait to get a hard copy after it’s released. Thank you for writing such a wonderful book!

I absolutely loved this book! Organization does not come naturally to me, and yet, I was already implementing strategies Kelsey recommended before I even finished the book. With sweet stories and relatable snippets of her early years in the trenches, I chuckled along while feeling encouraged and refreshed. I’m excited to continue to organize our home with so many helpful tips, as well as try some yummy new recipes!

I thoroughly enjoyed this practical, biblical book on managing the home. Kelsey hits pretty much every area, from organizing your cleaning schedule to how to be prepared for illness, all while keeping God's calling for raising children in his name as the center focus.

Even though I received an advanced ebook copy, this is probably one I'd buy as a hardcopy down the road for rereading and note taking.

The book I wish I had when I was drowning in a season of toddlers and babies. Most of it I did eventually figure out through trial and error, but you can save yourself the time and frustration and just read this book. The chapters are short and to the point, getting to the heart of what matters in the small amount of time a mother of littles actually finds to sit down and read.

An interesting read, with hand hints and tips for surviving life with children. Although from a Christian standpoint, it can still provide help and advice for those without or differing faiths. Definitely worth a read!

I loved this. This book has helped me tremendously. I used to obsess over perfection but not so much after reading this. This is so helpful in no way am I saying to leave things a mess in life. Having children mess will come with that and it is okay to enjoy life with our families and be guilt free.
