A good storyline and cast of characters

This is the next book for this series Brigands of Ruk that crossover with the DaR Universe. I enjoyed this full story for Bikar and his mate Bambi. Bikar is quite the protector of all his brothers Slavic, Ruarc, Einar, Falon, and Murgul even though Bikar upset them with his quest for knowledge.

This story picks up after Falon left and snuck aboard the ship leaving with Commander DaR’s sons. Falon could not leave his mate Emmie. This race of people called the Ruks will die without their mates. Bikar’s mate is Bambi but she has been abused and traumatized by her own father. Scars litter Bambi’s body and she only wears long sleeves. Bambi’s best friend is Heather Feather who is the best wing woman ever. Bambi is scared of men in general due to her upbringing in that cult with her father. Bikar is trying everything plus some to woo Bambi to be his mate.

This is a feel good and struggle romance between a challenging human female and an alien male. There are ample adult fun times, a happy ending, plus baby notifications. ReI Read On!

After following Slavic, Einar, Ruarc, and Murgul's journeys to their own happily-ever-afters, I was excited for Bikar to finally get his turn! I really enjoyed the brotherhood between them, even when they drive each other crazy. Bambi's traumatic upbringing has left her guarded, and I loved Bikar's patience as he woos her; he never pushes, always giving her the space and time she needs. Bikar's fierce devotion to her healing (not just to winning her over) was heartwarming. A fantastic and emotional end to the Brigands of Ruk.

Absolutely FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC

This story was my favorite out of all of them. Finally everyone is together and happy after being experimented on and abused. Each has gone through horrible things, but finally found a wonderful planet that they could make a family on. Thanks again Jewel, I truly enjoyed reading this series and look forward to reading more written by you.

Hated for it to end

Endings are always hard and hard fought. Bikar and Bambi were the perfect ending. Loved the prologue with Martuk. That truly made this one of the best series. Thank you for the adventure. Now I want more!! 😊

Bambi and Bikar.

A good ending to the series. Probably my second favorite book out of the six. I like that he focuses on learning what makes her happy and they are cute together.

OMG ya’ll…I have “patiently” waited for this final book, and it definitely did not disappoint. This is Bikar’s book, he already knows who his mate is, but since Bambi is kind of skittish he is giving her time. Add in the fact that he pissed off his brothers might be a little something too…he’s been kinda busy getting his booty kicked. I know he made a few mistakes throughout the series, but luckily he did because he ended up getting some friends in high places, which definitely came in handy in a huge way in this book. And I mean that in a survival kinda way. This book was pretty fast paced, with quite a few wtf moments. And Bikar was just the sweetest, patient and thoughtful mate. I am sad it’s over, but loved the epilogue and seeing everyone's HEA’s.

a great ending to the series.

Bikar and Bambi are heartwarming, heartbreaking, and cute as all get out. The journey they go on for their mating is amusing with Heather for comic relief. A superb job.
