Note: Although I read the Play Me series as a, well, series, this review is for the complete story and is absolutely devoid of spoilers.
I have to admit, I would have never picked up this book on my own. The Play Me Series is a part of the Ethan Frost series (although it can be read as a standalone) and while I was debating with myself about what exactly I should do about these books, I saw some spectacular reviews for the Ethan Frost books over at Goodreads. And so, I’ve read Play Me only and only because of (Goodreads) peer pressure.
And I’m so glad I decided to read these because I would have been seriously missing out on some quality goodness. MISSING OUT. Because, these books are tons of awesome.
Aria Winston was my favourite of the two main characters. She was brave and strong and stood up for what was right at the cost of losing her job…especially when she was living hand-to-mouth as it was. But what was more fantastic to see about her is that she was fiercely independent and it was almost like her thought processes were often in sync with my own! It was awesome and awesome!
Sebastian Caine was, in my opinion, the perfect counterpart to Aria. Where she was batshit when there was something she wanted, he was level-headed. Where she often thought with her heart, he showed her reason. And might I say, this guy had a real heart of gold. No matter the philanthropist side of him, he was a genuinely good guy who made everyone’s problems his own and went out of his way to support people.
In a literary BDSM world (sadly) dominated by the likes of FSoG, Play Me manages to bring all the kinky and hot that makes BDSM exciting, and show readers just how sexy it can be when done right. The book is written tastefully and contrary to my early expectations from the book, it wasn’t all sex. There is a story, and two fantastic characters, and trust you me, there is are many surprising twists and turns in the series.
The end is entirely dependent on you. The series ends well, (albeit a bit anticlimactically) but if you really want to continue reading Aria and Sebastian’s story, and whether or not the bad guys are brought to justice, then I’d suggest you pick up the Ethan Frost books ASAP, especially for the Aria-Sebastian cameo in Exposed (Ethan Frost #4). I know I will.
*I was provided a free ecopy of this book in exchange of an honest review. This did not in any way, however, influence the content of this review.*
In a world filled with BDSM books that focus on pain and submission, Finally we have one that is closer to reality. D/S is not about control from one person, it is both parties taking care of each others needs. That is the back focus of Play with Me This is originally a serial that came out in 5 parts, Lets say i'm happy i read it all in one go or I'd be ticked at the cliff hangers waiting for the next shoe to drop. The sex is HOT, some of the best written scenes I've ever read. It's so well you almost feel as if you are in the room with them experiencing every last touch or lack of touch. Aria is running from her past, but how far can you go before it catches up and swallows you whole. Sebestion is running from his own demons. Both use each other, the dominate/submissive relationship built to help overcome these demons. Does it work? Does it make them closer or push them apart? A true page turner that you will not be able to put down. Set aside an afternoon to read this great steamy book.
Title: Play Me Author: Tracy Wolff Publisher/Year: Random House Publishing 6/16/15 Length: 308 pages Series: Play Me (The Complete series 1-5)
Overview
My name is Aria Winston. I’ve fought desperately to escape the seedy underbelly of Las Vegas. Now I’m on my own, in control of my own life and my own destiny . . . just the way I like it. Until Sebastian Caine changes everything.
Working as a cocktail waitress at one of Vegas’s hottest five-star casinos means putting up with a ton of bad behavior from the big spenders. But it pays the bills—and that’s all that matters to Aria, who needs every last dollar to escape from her father’s destructive grasp and the brutal man he expects her to marry. My Thoughts
I'm embarrassed to say that it actually took me a few chapters for it to click that this is THE SEBASTIAN AND ARIA from the Ethan Frost series. OOPS. anyway, if you've read the other series, then you know who these folks are a bit, at least in name and i think that we were eagerly awaiting their story - to understand exactly how Sebastian and Aria know each other and what the deal is between them.
That's exactly what we get. The good thing about me totally forgetting who they were, is that i went into this series without any idea the back story on Aria, who her father is, what she's been through etc, and that makes this story that much more exciting. We only met Sebastian briefly in the other series, and really just got his help more than his story - so this is a nice evolution of that.
So as the summary suggests, there's a constant fight for control between these folks - we see that Sebastian needs it, as does Aria, but when they come together, they begin to see that there's an interesting way to get the control that they need, and it's really impressive to see how it's written.
Aria has fought to get out from under her father's thumb, and refuses to take any help from him in her life. The issue though is that she's got a sister who's quite sick, and she's desperate to stay by her sister, but needs to stay away from her father.
Sebastian, well, he has a tough relationship with his father, who's the former owner of this casino conglomerate, and after his father has several mini strokes, Sebastian comes back to Vegas to take over the business. It makes things tough of course since he really wants nothing to do with his father, but at least it brings him back to a place where he can change things, and get control over a part of his life that he's not been able to have.
Their stories of course come together when Aria is working as a cocktail waitress in his casino, and gets fed up with how some of the 'whales' are treating women, and ends up losing her temper and hitting one of them. she gets fired and when Sebastian is called upon to deal with the high roller who's threatening to sue, he realizes that there's not just more to the story there but to the girl.
So of course as we always expect, the something more starts with an intense attraction, and knowing what we do of how Ms. Wolff writes these stories, we know that we're not going to be let down. The interesting thing here is that these characters edge a bit more into the BDSM realm where the other series and characters have not, and it's a nice change. I don't know if she's hit the lifestyle as hard and accurately perhaps as other authors, but still, it makes the dynamic here really nice and hot and you definitely want to see how two control freaks manage in this situation. There's a lot of talk about subspace and subdrop, and to be honest, every other book that i've read in the genre, well, the 'dom' so to speak has been much more aware and would never be as careless as Sebastian has been throughout this story - so in that sense, it's a miss, but at least our author addresses his lack of consciousness in this realm and tries to fix it.
The story takes us on several paths, the one with Sebastian and his father which i'm not sure ever gets resolved, the story of Aria running from her family and hiding who she is - which is a constant wonder as i've read through, wondering when it was going to come out knowing that Sebastian is trying to break the casino's ties with the mafia, and then what will come of Sebastian and Aria. Definitely a lot to ponder, and thankfully there's a lot of passion and heat to keep us invested.
It feels like perhaps there's more to the series that we may get although i don't know if there necessarily is. But that being said, i'm eager to read more if we get it and i also can't wait for the next installment to Ethan and Chloe's story as well.
This story was originally released as a 5 part serialized novel (Play Me Wild, Play Me Hot, Play Me Hard, Play Me Real and Play Me Right) but has since been released as a bind up called Play Me: The Complete Story. Although I read this in instalments I'm posting a single review for the entire book. This story works as a complete stand alone but it does feature a cameo appearance from Ethan Frost who has his own series.
Aria has left her family and her controlling father behind her and is struggling to make ends meet working as a cocktail waitress in a local casino. When she loses her temper with one of the casino's big spenders who was getting a little too rough she knows she's blown it and is sure to lose her job but she hadn't counted on the new boss. Sebastian never intended to take over his father's casino but when he is called in run the show after his father suffers a heart attack he quickly realises that things have got to change. He won't tolerate his staff being treated poorly no matter who the client is and he's determined to shake things up a bit. The connection between Aria and Sebastian is instant and intense but will Aria risk everything by sleeping with the boss?
One thing I can say for sure about Play Me is that it's hot as hell, Sebastian is a delicious Dom who knows exactly what he wants and he's not used to being denied. The sex scenes in this story are absolutely scorching and it was very, very easy to see why Aria would fall under Sebastian's spell, I'd certainly find him impossible to resist! This is only the second book I've read by Tracy Wolff but it definitely won't be the last, in fact after seeing the cameo from Ethan Frost I'm planning on diving into his series very soon.
As much as I loved the chemistry between Sebastian and Aria I did feel things moved far too quickly between them. I guess that this is probably because of the serialised format - you have to hook readers into the relationship very quickly and keep them there to make sure they want to continue reading. I just think it could have been so much better if we'd been made to wait for the characters to act on their intense attraction, I think as it was everything happened so fast that I struggled to believe it. This was especially true when you learn more about Aria's background, I don't think there is any way that someone who has been through what she had would be so quick to jump into an affair with a man in such a position of power over her. It wasn't even the speed of them getting down to it that I had an issue with (although I think that was fast too!) but within a week of meeting they were head over heels in love and thinking of marriage and I didn't feel like they'd taken enough time getting to know each other outside of the bedroom.
I may have had an issue with the speed of their relationship but I still really enjoyed their story, I love the author's writing style and I would pick up another book about these characters if the author decided to write one. In the meantime I'll definitely be devouring the Ethan Frost series and keeping an eye out to see if Sebastian and Aria make an appearance in there too.
Play Me is a five-part set of novellas - a serial series - each about 60 pages long. I devoured them all. They are quick compelling reads that leave you wanting the next chapter as soon as you finished the previous one because they consume your attention. You need to know what happens next.
And it's all because of Aria and Sebastian. Hot damn - they are quite the characters. He owns the Vegas casino that Aria works at and their connection is instantaneous. It's bold. Powerful. Almost excessive. The two are unable to control their feelings or their lust and you quickly sense that Sebastian is going to destroy all that Aria knows. And vise versa.
I thought Play Me was an entertaining series and that it flowed well. Aria and Sebastian's affair is intense and passionate. With each installment the plot and romance gets ratcheted up a notch. As the connection between the two deepens, the more that gets revealed about the characters and their pasts. It gives the series depth and makes for an enticing read.
If you enjoy serials, you will not want to miss this one from Tracy Wolff. It's a sexy fast paced journey and it left me wanting more from this author.
Please note, this review was previously published in 2015 under a profile used by multiple people. I am removing those reviews and republishing them on my new, personal profile.
PLAY ME: THE COMPLETE STORY was originally published as five serial novellas: Play Me Wild; Play Me Hot; Play Me Hard; Play Me Real; and Play Me Right. Each novella takes about an hour to read and is the story of Aria Winston and Sebastian Caine. Part way through the series, Ethan Frost (from the Ethan Frost series) makes his appearance asking Sebastian for help on a private matter, which Sebastian is happy to give, even more so when he finds out the people involved hurt Aria. So I guess you could categorise this as a spin-off series.
I liked both Aria and Sebastian, but Sebastian was definitely my favourite. He’s dominant, he’s an alpha, but he has a kind heart and good morals. He cares about his staff and abhors the harassment they face on a daily basis, which is how Aria appeared on his radar. He did hurt Aria, but he was in a bad place at the time and didn’t realise he was hurting her until it was too late. And when he realised what he’d done, he was very angry with himself and desperate to make amends. He likes control in all things and doesn’t react well when he doesn’t have it. Aria is strong, doesn’t take crap from anyone and she stands up for those that can’t or won’t stand up for themselves. But there is a hidden fragility to her that calls to Sebastian. The chemistry between these two is off the charts. And the sex? Wow, the sex is totally hot. I mean seriously hot, fan yourself and change into a new pair of panties hot.
The only issue I had with this series is the repetition of dialogue. Something bad happened to Aria 14 months ago that caused her to walk away from her entire family (with the exception of her very sick younger sister), giving up the family’s name and money. You know something bad happened to her because she thinks about it several times throughout each novella. After a while, I stopped finding this suspenseful and just found it annoying, especially when it’s not until right at the end of the series that we find out what actually happened to her. There’s also a tonne of talk about control, which to be honest, I started skipping over as I couldn’t make sense out of it some of the time.
PLAY ME sort of ends in a HEA, but at the same time, it sort of doesn’t. They have sex, Aria reveals her deep dark secret, Sebastian vows to avenge Aria and the series is over. There’s no prologue several months or years down the track to see how they’re going. It just ends, which gives the series a bit of an incomplete feel to it. But at the end, there is a notation that says to look out for Sebastian and Aria’s cameo in EXPOSED (Ethan Frost #3), so maybe it’s been left incomplete for a reason.

This serial was pretty intense. Each small episode was pretty compelling but ultimately you need to read the whole thing if you want any kind of answers as the last book is where you learn who Aria is and what her secret is. Unfortunately, it also ends abruptly and though the characters are (sort of) Happy For Now, the promise of revenge and a happily ever after to come are not enough to have satisfied me. This book has lots of steamy sex. It has elements of BDSM, but the sub didn't know she was a sub and there were no punishments and not a huge amount of BDSM terminology and explanations, which I found a nice change of pace.
Even so the main characters of the book are both into BDSM the author seams to focus on the pleasure and the feeling that they both take care of each other’s needs and pleasures. Enjoyed the story and the plot. Steamy enough for an adult book. Though a bit disappointed with the last chapter and the ending. It seems too open that there will be continued but it’s the last book of the series.
As and a tip to authors, no matter how super duper sex you have with a person there is no way for two persons to come to “I love you” part within a week and a half. Too unreal guys...
Gifted for an honest review – Overall probably 4 star series
Play Me #1 – Wild – 4 stars As always with the beginning of a series the author is giving you the characters and some background so you can form your opinion of them going further into the story. I liked what I read here, I always enjoy a casino backdrop and Tracy had her descriptions down really well here. I really liked her female lead Aria but it was quite clear from the onset that she was hiding something. This continues through the subsequent books and ends up a slow reveal with a climactic conclusion. In this novella I found I was not overly endeared to the male lead Sebastian. He too has secrets I’m guessing. Their meeting is an unconventional one, but I liked that it was different. The chemistry between them leaps off the pages and the reader definitely gets that connection between them. Tracy did a grand job of immersing the reader into a fast paced beginning; you can’t help but want more. I really wanted to see where this was going and what comes to unfold.
Play Me #2 – Hot – 3 1/2 stars We are picking up straight where we left off, which is always a bonus in a series, there are no missing pieces that the reader has to guess about. This one is just as hot and steamy as the last as Aria and Sebastian start a tentative relationship. It feels a little confusing, what do they really want with each other? You get the stirrings of a dominant man in Sebastian but I think there’s a bit more here than the reader is led to believe. I think this book focuses more on the sexual exploits and the getting to know each other rather than anything else and Tracy ramps up that character development a bit so the reader sees a bit more. Again, very enjoyable and there’s still that compulsion to continue reading and see where this is going. I had a little issue with the use of Subspace etc. in this instalment though; I felt it was overly and possibly incorrectly used. Another quick read though.
Play Me #3 – Hard – 4 stars I think here we see the beginning of seriousness as Sebastian and Aria really start falling for each other in this, and now a few hard plots are coming into play. It’s any one’s guess where it’s going. Sebastian must confront some of his demons with the realisation that Aria lives on the doorstep of one of his secrets. I wasn’t overly convinced with this plot line but it made a certain amount of sense and the reader understands a little more the dynamics of his relationship with his father. Aria’s slowly uncovering her history too. Ethan Frost makes an appearance here for the first time and somehow ties into Sebastian and arias storyline. Now I have a huge gripe about this but that will come in my review for #5. To say I wasn’t happy is a total understatement. However I do love when an author intertwines characters from other books. There’s a big fat OMG at the end of this…again, I have a compulsion to continue.
Play Me #4 – Real – 4 stars This kicked up in gear for me, more of an emotional feel to it whilst Sebastian and aria lay it all out and reveal their histories to each other. It’s ugly but beautiful all at the same time and there is a realisation between them that they have something special. By this point I’m a Sebastian fan, he has all those swoon worthy traits that us women just roll over for. To see him hurting that way…it’s not good and it pulls at you. This 4th book gives the whole story a really decent bit of depth that I felt was lacking previously. Scorching hot sex scenes again, honestly it’s set your panties on fire kind of stuff! But it’s the falling away of control that had me all heady over this one, Sebastian’s onion being peeled so to speak as he lays it out on the line and opens himself up for Aria. There’s certain sadness in that which Tracy wrote so beautifully. Eagerly wanting the conclusion.
Play Me #5 – Right - 3 stars Perfect conclusion? No, hell no! This really, really got my goat. Don’t get me wrong the conclusion is all good and well. We find Sebastian kicking himself and Aria sulking, having made the mistake of walking away. She’s miserable. Sebastian doesn’t take it lying down and comes at her all guns blazing. I really liked the moment with his father, I felt it was an appropriate part of the story but at the same time it felt like too little too late kind of thing. But it spurred Sebastian so I guess it was right. This book is written just as well as the rest until we get to the end…. Now, the bit that really frustrated me and makes me give this a 3 rating is the way in which it ended. Yes, their relationship and being together is all packaged up nice and neatly. But…there is far more to this story. I had wondered if the appearance of Ethan Frost was for a reason and my word was it ever. I don’t like this way of tying up loose ends, in order to get the rest of this story you need to go and read Ethan’s third book. In order to read the third book you need to read the two before as they are connected. Now I don’t think this is very fair. Like I said I think I got an “almost” conclusion here and that did not sit well with me I’m afraid. Overall I’d give this entire series a 4 star rating. It’s worth reading, and the instalments are quick to pick up and put down. Recommended, perhaps you won’t feel like me at the end.
This is for the whole series Play Me (which I would recommend reading the whole thing at once since the books are very short). Read this on the side while I had another more serious book going on. Very spicy, very dramatic, very fast timeline. Will probably read the Ethan Frost books to see what comes next. Would have gone to 4 stars but it felt incomplete.
Play Me is a five-part set of novellas - a serial series - each about 60 pages long. I devoured them all. They are quick compelling reads that leave you wanting the next chapter as soon as you finished the previous one because they consume your attention. You need to know what happens next.
I know it's not what the series is intended to be, but I loved the premise and wished there was more of it to go along with all the smut! Like I can't be the only one who wants to see Sebastian and Aria take down the Valduccis and rescue Lucy and actually develop a real relationship. Sigh...

Reviewed for Confessions From Romaholics Review copy kindly provided by publisher via Net Galley in exchange for a honest review
Play Me is not my first Trisha Wolff book but it my first book of her that has been in serial format. Finally being released together as one book, I decided to take the plunge and review the book. However I was given the book for the review the serial format. As I must admit I was influence by how where each part ends and wonder if this will be left as it is when it is re-released.
That aside Play Me is the story of Aria and Sebastian simply two people from different side of the world. A rich boy and cocktail waitress however appearances’ are deceiving with this book. Don’t expect the norm typical roles when you delve and truly meet each of the characters. Each part goes through the tension, emotions but with a key plot point explore in that instalment of the book. Alternating first person narrative from both protagonists
The first part is the typical start to the book, with the introduction and setting of characters however the author gives us the hint there is something more to Aria and Sebastian. From the moment you met Aria, you feel that the her problem with men is hinting as a deeper problem. But what exactly, what has led her to have these feelings. Setting up the foundations for the story since it is being told in parts. As for Sebastian he doesn’t fit the mould he is painted with especially after that decision that leaves you wondering why. When you are risking a lot more than it worth
The second part continues and moves into high gear and explores the attraction that you feel between them. A fun instalment that quick heats up as they test boundaries starts to answer the question that we with wondering after the first part. The scenes are exactly what you expect to spice up this book and leave you more than satisfied
The third part reveals part of Aria’s secret and a surprising one for Sebastian that you wonder what else he has being hiding from us . Drawing on the past two parts, this explore the characters feelings and tensions as they deal with this new relationship which is moving forward quickly and leaves us with so many questions.
The fourth part is a bit of breakthrough has we finally got a lot details and we figure the reason behind Sebastian mood and actions. Surprisingly heartbreaking and heart warming at the same time, this part will make you appreciate Sebastian a bit more. As for Aria the pieces are falling into place finally but what is she holding back that could make or break or their relationship
The last part brings everything full circle and with a surprise or two for those who know the other works of the author well. This book gets us somewhat a closure for their story and we learn the darkest secret Aria was holding.
Not exactly the couple was expecting and the reason why I’m being vague. Maybe it because I got to used to her lighter novels. Play Me is more sensual and erotic book that doesn’t cross the fine line. It was a solid read that had a nice surprise or two and few twists that will leave you wonder why you didn’t see the clues. However I found some parts to be slightly more enjoyable than others and overall I would give this book 4 as it was learning toward that rating until the final bit of this book. I was expecting more with the ending, more satisfying conclusion even if wasn’t HEA as they are so young. I didn’t expect to be so straight forward ending after everything and that was slightly disappointing.
Aria works as a cocktail waitress at a Vegas's casino. One night, she is fired after going to the rescue of a young woman being abused by a rich gambler. The next day, when she goes back to the casino to pick her last pay check, she meets Sebastian, the son of the casino owner and new CEO. Sebastian praises her for what she did and does not fire her. The attraction between them is immediate and neither of them can't fight it. But Aria is hiding something from her past and isn't keen on letting Sebastian's dominant ways control her. Will she submit to Sebastian?
Play Me is a great book with a captivating story that keeps the reader wanting more. It is full of suspense, drama and incredible hot scenes.
Aria is a strong woman, very independent and a fighter. Something bad happened to her and she cut her ties with most of her family, renouncing her family's name. Sebastian is a total alpha: he is dominant, strong, and fierce. He also has a kind and gentle heart and doesn't like seeing other people being treated badly. I loved the chemistry between Aria and Sebastian. It was off the charts!!!
Play Me: The Complete Story is a great read, with a story and characters that hook the reader from the first page. However, I wish that there was more to the end. It felt it ended a little abruptly.
Originally released as a serial series but now combined into 1 book !! I do love serials and I can say that if I had read this as a serial , 5pt. series I would have been just as thrilled !! Each part left us with a cliffy yet each new part started off where we left. Both main characters have some big secrets and we are tormented through much of the story without knowing the details of these. it makes you unable to put the book down because you just have to know and if you read faster maybe you will find out sooner !!
Aria is running from her past, on paper she seems like a normal twenty something struggling to make ends meet. Little does anyone know she is anything but. Well she is but she was not brought up that way , she has chosen to live this life now. Full of struggle and hardwork. She needs to have control and this comes from things in her past that were always out of control. Sebastian is very similar. He has spent his life either doing everything to please his father or everything to go against him. Now with his father sick he is in Vegas running the casino/resort business and attempting to finally live life for himself. He is also very controlling in his business and personal life so of course when these two meet it is extreme. A wants to prove she has no desire to be with S and of course S will do anything to make A want him !! They heat up the office , sheets , honestly any surface around. The scenes between them are so very long and detailed. The control or loss of , the emotion the desires , especially in Sebastian's POV. It is crazy to be in his head while he struggles with how he feels vs what he thinks he needs. They take you on a ride with their push/pull but when things get deep the emotion is real. Sebastian's past is heartbreaking , his story is one of loss and guilt. You feel for him and get to understand him better. Aria's past , her secret is the big show stopper !! She is not at all who we thought. Her past is heartbreaking too and you fear for her and feel for her loss.
The end in a sort of HEA. BUT where do they go from there ?? Will we find out more in Ethan's story or will we be left to wonder how Aria and Sebastian make out ??

The Play Me series was originally released as 5 novellas, each relatively short reads so for me reading them in this complete bundle was great!
Aria has run from her family and her past to work as a cocktail waitress in a casino. She deals with the high rollers – the men with large piles of money and very grabby hands. Over time she’s grown used to her nightly dealings with these men and can easily brush off their advances. But when one patron goes too far she can’t help stepping in, losing her job in the process.
The last thing Sebastian Caine wants to do is run his father’s casino, but when he’s left with little choice he makes the move and takes the reins. When he watches the security footage of Aria he calls her back and gives her back her job – but there’s something about her he can’t seem to forget about.
Aria and Sebastian both have a long journey ahead of them. Aria has a past she’s scared to reveal to Sebastian and battles with herself whether to stick around and be happy or flee to save Sebastian from it all – even if it makes her miserable. But she didn’t bet on Sebastian’s alpha side…
I really enjoyed this book – more so as a bundle than as individual books. A HOT, intense and suspense filled series I just couldn’t put down – Aria and Sebastian’s passion and story was just so addictive! A great steamy read to add to your collection!
HOT, HOT, HOT This is five serials all in one and I'm pretty happy I got to read it that way. Each piece is like more pieces of the puzzle being put together. We start of with a feisty and ballsy cocktail waitress and former CFO philanthropists who is taking over his father's casino. Unlikely pair right? You have no idea.
Both Aria and Sebastian are hiding pieces of themselves from each other and the world around them. One harbors a decade amount of guilt while the other is running from their family. While they are both a mess emotionally the one thing they seem to get right is the chemistry. They are explosive when together. Sometimes Sebastian pushes too hard for what he wants and sometimes Aria is so messed up in the head that she made my head spin.
Over the five pieces a story of two lost souls comes to light. While there were some things that annoyed me, I couldn't put this down. I read it all in one day because I wanted to know what secrets they were hiding and if they could figure out how to make their unlikely situation work. While the story moved very quickly, it in now way lacked in heat. This might be one of the steamiest books I have read in awhile. I didn't always like Sebastian's brand of alpha but he would have had me doing whatever he asked too.
This is my first book by Ms. Wolff and it won't be my last, especially now that I have briefly met Ethan Frost and want to know how they resolve there overlapping story line.

This series didn't work for me at all. I wanted to DNF sooooo many times I lost count. The story was just weird and failed big time to pull me in.
He is a Casino owners son who takes over after his father gets ill. He hates the job, Vegas and everything about it but still does it. Enter a cocktail waitress who's poor because she chose to leave her rich family because her father is in the mob and wanted her to marry a monster. Sebastian sees her once and he's gone. He has to have her. He kept dragging her from her work, during her shift, up to his office where he immediately put her in subspace. Just like that! C'mon! They were just so weird both of them and broken and weak and at times childish because they couldn't even communicate like adults. Still Somehow I managed to finish this series. What a waste of time. Sorry but that's how I feel.

I loved this entire series. You even have a portion where Ethan Frost who is from the Ethan Frost series Tracy has written appears in the book. I love how he was brought into this story. I got addicted to this series in book 2. I just had to have more. Need to know what they were both hiding and if they could hand each others secrets.
Sebastian and Aria are both complicated people who strive on having control because of things that happened in their past that they never felt they had any control with. The chemistry between these two is immediate and man do the sparks fly.
There isnt much to say without giving away parts of this book. What I can say is you must read it!!! I have enjoyed all books by Tracy that I have read and this series is no different!!
After reading all the parts of Play me series this is my conclusion.
All books were easy to read and it was to its advantage to get a grip of the story and not being forced to wait long for next installment.
I liked how the next book picked off right where previous one ended. The story line between main characters was good and their sexual attraction was amazing but not so deep as I would liked it to be.
Two people from very different lives collide in this series and it is explosive, hot and romantic. The path of this relationship does not run smoothly and both characters are very head strong which i love as i do not like women who just bend over backwards for their men straight away. They need to have some strength and back bone for me to connect with them which Aria does. While Sebastian is equal parts hard and domineering but also has other smoother emotions under his exterior. Plenty going on in this series to keep you entertained and along for the ride.A great series that i am glad i got to find and read :)
PLAY ME was originally a 5 part serial. Luckily it was 're-released as a complete book. There is a cliffhanger at the end if each serial and it would have been very annoying waiting for the next part! Sebastian and Aria are a very passionate couple. She is a waitress at a casino and he runs.the casino. When Aria shows some spunk by standing up to a detestable high roller, Sebastian is immediately drawn to her. Both have secrets from their past and they work out their insecurities and fears through the one thing they are good at- sex, control and submission. I found the ending to be a bit flat but the rest of the story makes up for it
Plot is interesting and compelling - no need to breat the Play Me story into separate Novella-ish parts (in fact that’s the only real negative.) The characters backstory and current situation drive the plot. The sex is crazy hot! The ending leaves the reader with the idea of another book in the series (or separate series) but I have yet to figure out if there is one. Play Me leaves me wanting to know more about the characters and how they complete or resolve their relationship and pickled circumstances.
