This was such a great novella. The band’s mates sister is of limits. But the flights are canceled and they’re stuck together. So Liam offers to show Harper the sites in Chicago with all the winter beauty she can handle. Once they’ve looked around they decide to get a room. But there’s only one left and only one bed. This story was hot enough to melt the snow around them. And I loved that Liam took the cave to stand up for both him and Harper and started that he wanted to be with her no matter what. I had such a great time with this story.

Snow falls and the whole city of Chicago goes quiet. Christmas lights dangle from the small front steps and from the window sills of every house; they remain lit all the time without ever fading and give off a soft, hazy light which covers the entire frozen and hard city.
In this freezing, bone-chilling town a young ballerina walks step by step along the thinly frosted sidewalk, pursuing her dream. Her warm breath comes into contact with the bitterly cold air, forming thin white clouds that drift about and then disappear. All those people tell her that the thing she longs for is completely out of reach, but she ignores their words and keeps on going, one step at a time. The hard-soled pointe shoes on her toes rub upon the pavement, making a rustling whisper so faint that it is almost inaudible and blends into the complete silence of midnight. Before she realizes it, she gets involved in a relationship, one that cannot be seen during the day, yet seems as though it had always been meant to happen and is impossible to avoid.
Harper holds on firmly to her dream and is not prepared to give up. There is an unbearable sadness sitting heavily in her heart, and she is fully aware that the world has never left her any room from which to stand easily. Each difficulty she faces is like a bruise received from a fall, leaving a clear impression on her, but she still presses on and continues to dance. She dances right until her toes bleed, although that little spot of hope inside her remains as bright as ever. A tight, strained atmosphere of ambiguity always hangs between her and the male lead. In the attraction that brings the two of them together, grief and yearning are mixed in equal measure, forming an unbreakable force that pulls them inexorably towards each other.
In the room there is one bed, the sheets of which are creased and wrinkled and still retain the cold that passes through the air. It would never have been imagined that such a small space, only just big enough for two people, was eventually to become the place where the two of them hid their secrets and exchanged secret glances. Every time the two of them meet to talk, the younger sister of the male lead's bandmate is always nearby, in a slight but obvious way, as though softly reminding them that there are boundaries which they should have kept. Outside, the snow continues to fall; huge, soft snowflakes take away completely all traces of the city's normal traffic noise, people's conversations, and all the other kinds of noise. Yet the two people in the small room are firmly bound by their present situation, even though an unaccountable force draws them closer to each other, and they cannot resist it.
Each page of this book is filled with a heavy, unresolved emotion that steadily wraps around every line of the text, just as the smell of pine boughs and cinnamon drifts through every home in December and cannot be got rid of. That secret, forbidden relationship is similar to a candle which everyone has forgotten to extinguish after going to sleep; it emits a faint light but is at risk of burning on for too long and causing other things to catch fire. It is the sort of story that keeps you awake all night long: hours pass quietly as you turn the pages, yet you still hold on to the book, wanting to keep reading and unwilling to stop for even a moment.

This is drummer Liam Rhodes, and twenty-year old ballerina Harper Beaumont’s storyline. SILVER BELLS, SINGLE BED can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. Harper is Liam’s bandmate Casey Beaumont’s younger sister.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Liam and Harper) SILVER BELLS, SINGLE BED follows in the wake of a snow storm that shuts down the Chicago’s O’Hare Airport the day before Christmas. Harper Beaumont is trying to get to New York, she is the lead in the Lincoln Centre’s Nutcracker, while Liam is hoping to get to Arizona for a Rhodes’ family Christmas but when their flights are cancelled, our couple tour the sights of Chicago, finally spending the night together at a high end hotel where Harper is hoping for something more. Paula Dombroiak has twisted me in knots with her super-angsty romances in the past, but Silver Bells, Single Bed was just pure, irresistible pleasure. What a great story she's written for these intriguing characters. I thoroughly enjoyed the flirty anticipation, abundance of steamy heat, with a few twists to keep things interesting. What more could I ask for in my favorite escape from reality?
These Hollow Reign novellas are connected rockstar romances that follow the four members of this band as they find their soulmates in festive holiday settings. Did I mind reading them before that season begins? Heck NO! Silver Bells, Single Bed is the second of these fun, intimate stories that, to me, felt like full length novels and can be read anytime you're in the mood for a hot, cozy book-binge.

This unlikely pairing seems like a fated plot twist when Liam unexpectedly bumps into Harper in an airport (I loved 'where'!), in the middle of a blizzard, both with canceled flights, and too much time on their hands. Even though they were heading in opposite directions and for different reasons, the snow felt magical and stolen moments were meant to be in their forecast. She's the younger sister of a bandmate Liam's never dared to want, but want her he does. And Harper? Well, she's been quietly crushing on this guy forever. Can't say I blame her- prepare yourself for Liam. He's definitely a keeper, for so many reasons.
Liam and Harper's story was filled with witty banter and humor (the band of brothers were so funny), sexy-sweet, romantic moments with heart-melter, Liam, and Harper... she's so elegant and talented, but with a side of sass. Their story stuck with me long after 'the end', and like bowl of chocolates teasing me from across the room, it was the perfect, delicious treat to get lost in for a few lazy hours.
With the first two books available to read now and two more on the way in this Hollow Reign rockstar romance series, I'm really looking forward to one of my favorite trope of all tropes, stirring up trouble in Theo's book. His is up next and I can't wait to read all about it!

I loved this book so much! There is so much that I can say, but instead, I am going to share my reading notes with you, because they totally convey my thoughts during the story. I don’t always make notes. I either get so involved in the story that I forget (this happens mostly on audiobooks), I don’t really feel the need for notes, or I’m not interested enough to make note of my favourite parts. On occasion, I am drawn so deeply that I feel the need to keep track of all the little things.
Here we go:
Bahahahaha Casey is a menace I would love to be friends with.
Harper living through the stress of a parent, and how her mom has pressed her so hard that they don’t realize that it’s taking away from her daughter’s life and experiences. Even as an adult, Harper has a hard time saying no to her, because she doesn’t want to be a disappointment.
Liam and Harper, the pull, the spice 🌶️🌶️, so deliciously descriptive! I can feel it in my bones.
Men can be so stupid.

I absolutely loved the Christmas atmosphere in this one. A snowstorm, Chicago covered in Christmas lights, a ballet dancer chasing her dreams, and two people who definitely should not be falling for each other, it makes for a brilliant holiday setup.
Harper is easy to root for, especially as she tries to keep hold of her ballet dreams while everything seems to be going wrong. And the chemistry between her and the hero brings that perfect we really shouldn't do this… but we absolutely can't stay away from each other tension.
The one bed trope paired with the bandmate's little sister trope was exactly the kind of delicious drama I was expecting, and the Christmas setting made everything feel even more magical. I also loved watching the relationship develop as the story moved from an unexpected situation into something neither of them could simply ignore.
There are plenty of emotional moments, Christmas magic, forbidden romance, and enough drama to keep the pages turning. 🎄✨
If you're looking for a quick, festive romance with forbidden love vibes, Christmas chaos, and plenty of chemistry, Silver Bells, Single Bed is definitely one to add to your holiday TBR.
Paula Dombrowiak delivers another entertaining addition to the Hollow Reign Christmas Novellas, and I really enjoyed this one!

This book is a short, sexy read with a bit of angst and a lot of charm. Liam and Harper know each other through her brother who is his bandmate. Both are stranded in Chicago by a snow storm that has cancelled their flights. Harper, a professional ballerina, is desperate to get to New York to take her place on stage in the lead role for the Nutcracker. Liam, a drummer in a successful band, is trying to make it to Phoenix to spend Christmas with his family before the band goes back on tour. He persuades her to spend the day with him, exploring a bit of Chicago at Christmas. They end up spending the night at a hotel, in one room with one bed. Liam struggles to contain his desire for his bandmate’s, beautiful and innocent baby sister. Harper is having none of that. She has had a crush on Liam for years and sees this as her chance to experience sex with someone she cares for and trusts. Then they have to deal with the fallout.
I enjoyed the wonderful descriptions of Chicago at Christmas time, the impromptu ballet performance, and the super hot chemistry between Liam and Harper. I admired Harper for standing up to her brother and for calling out Liam for giving into his fears and his failure to stand by her. I appreciated the grovel and his redemption. This novella left me smiling and happy. It has my full recommendation.

Who says you can't celebrate Christmas in August? I, for one, will read a Christmas story any time of the year, especially if Ms. Dombrowiak writes it. Here she gives us a forbidden, rockstart/ballerina romance I could not stop reading. Can you imagine a bandmate's little sister is supposed to be off limits but when she teases you and you secretly want her as well, everything is off the table.
Liam and Harper, Casey's sister and Liam's bandmate, are stranded in Chicago. But this connected series of novellas / rockstar romances that Paula has so brilliantly created - well all I can say is I’m obsessed, just completely obsessed. A drummer and a ballerina- what an unlikely pair . That being said Harper and Liam truly were so perfectly matched . I had so much fun watching them fall for one another, especially since they were brought together in the most unexpected of ways . The humor , the banter , the spice , the sweet , emotionally charged and heartbreaking moments. I really enjoyed this story so so much. Smiling, laughing and cheering them on so so hard

Thank you Paula Dombrowiak for this ARC! This is the second novella in this series and this one is Liam and Harper's story. Harper is Casey's little sister, who thankfully is not as unhinged as Casey is. Liam and Harper get stranded in Chicago while trying to get to their destinations before Christmas. Harper has always had a crush on Liam....of course she does.... he's a drummer. They have the best time in Chicago and as luck would have it snag a hotel room with only one bed. I absolutely adore this group of band mates and I would love to be a part of their friend group! This one definitely put me in the Christmas spirit!

I was absolutely hooked by this book. There was so much going on in these pages and I couldn’t get enough of it. Liam and Harper were perfection. I am a huge sucker for off limits love and this book did it perfectly. The chemistry between Harper and Liam was incredible and utterly undeniable. Their connection was so genuine and real. This book gave us the best of both works with sweet and heat in perfect balance. There’s plot and spice, and I couldn’t get enough of either one of them. Liam and Harper were an easy couple to want the best for, needing them to find happiness. And that ending was everything I could have wanted for them.

Silver Bells is a holiday romance where Harper and Liam don’t just fall in love, they recognize each other in that deep, soul-level way. Their connection feels genuine, tender, and beautiful as they open up and let themselves be seen. It’s sweet, intimate, and feels magical.
I loved how each character shared about the hardships of their trade. People tend to only see the surface and don’t look deeper to the hardships or challenges those people face. I loved reading this book and hope you do too.

Harper and Liam have been in each other's lives for years. Two missed flights and the chemistry between Harper and Liam is off the charts. "Maybe sometimes the right choice and the terrifying choice are the same thing." Taking a chance with each other brings them closer together. A sweet quote, "You told me once you believed in the kind of love that ruins you and rebuilds you." They must decide if that is for them or not.

This was a good novella with a perfect mix of storyline and spice. While the title is Christmas and it takes place around the season the storyline isn't saturated in the season. I loved that Liam helped Harper find herself and joy but he definitely doesn't handle everything well. I highly enjoyed this novella and felt that it was well written and not rushed.

This was a great quick read, which captured everything I would want from a romantic story.
Liam and Harper made a brilliant couple, I loved their connection. The story was written beautifully and the tropes are ones I really enjoy, snowed in, brothers best friend and of course having the Christmas theme was perfect!
A book I would recommend and I can’t wait for the next instalment!

Silver Bells is the second novella in the Hollow Reign series. This book is a rockstar, single bed, and the forbidden bandmates little sister romance. When Liam and Harper get stranded in the airport after a snow storm, they explore the city of Chicago and the forbidden kiss happened. This is another great novella that I would recommend and ending was perfect!

This was such a fun seasonal read. Loved the brother's best friend trope, and of course the one bed hotel situation after the cancelled flights. These two characters had such good chemistry, and I truly enjoyed every moment of the story.

I know this is a good book, I just didn't finish it. It is a cute story with a drummer and a ballerina that spend time together and of course they have feelings for each other. I just couldn't get into it nothing against the author just wasn't into it. you need to read I believe you will love it.

I love insta-love books and this one was fantastic!! I love how Liam and Harper brought out the best in each other and fell in love while doing it. This is my favorite of the series so far.
