The Saga of Kuroneko continues
Oreimo Kuroneko is the continuation of the spin-off of fan favorite character Ruri Gokou. Last volume wrapped up the first OVA Specials that the anime adapted and now it's adapting the second season of the anime. Which is the first time it's been adapted in Manga form with the Oreimo Manga only going up to Season 1. Kuroneko plays a big part of season 2 and reading this manga from her perspective adds insight to the character and the events with a few minor differences. The humor is really funny in this probably the funniest volume so far in the series. The art is okay it gets the point across but it's as basic as it comes. The dark horse translation is the real mvp of this manga. The translators make it as authentic as possible with little footnotes to give context to some of the translations. Its something I haven't mentioned before in my reviews of the series but I have to give credit where credit is due. Of course somethings get lost in translation no matter what as it's part of translating languages but I would wager you won't get better English translations. I'm really enjoying the series it's funny the characters are great and I'll recommend to fans of kuroneko and Oreimo. It just works.

This manga is definitely more uneven in quality than Oreimo, including the art.
