Bears, bears, and guess what,... More bears!!! I love bear shifters! They are growl you, cuddly, furry, very protective and very fierce!!! This series is just so awesome! You have to read them all!! Very well worth reading!

OMG! This saga just keeps getting better and better as we go! If you haven’t already read the first three books in the series, I suggest you do so in order to get the most out of this book, but it is not necessary. This episode is, as each one is, a standalone, complete with it’s own HEA. Mae is up to her old tricks again, calling upon Tanner to join his brother Teague, for Grant and Chelsea’s wedding. The moment he sets foot into the diner where they are holding the rehearsal dinner, he knows his life is about to change. But when his fated mate more or less snubs him, he’s not sure if he will be able to handle his bear or not, let alone his human side’s distress. Marti has been hired by Mae to decorate her new B & B. She knows all about shifters, and even though she considers the “gang” at Bear Canyon Valley as not only friends, but an extended family, she’s harbouring a secret that she simply can’t tell any of them, not even the spouses, even though they are human. As soon as she lays eyes on Tanner, she knows she’s in trouble. While her heart is telling her to trust him and that he’s the one for her, her head just can’t take that chance. Will they manage to get past all of the hurt and allow the healing of love shine through? Or will they end up each going their own way, only to live alone the rest of their lives? Yet another beautiful tale that will warm your heart. Next please!

while there were still some pacing issues in this one there was a bit more cohesion to this one... even if Anyways, this one was much better than the preceding books so far as plotting goes imo.

Tanner Navarro accepted the Invitation to Grant and Chelsea's wedding in Bear Valley. He is in for a surprise when he walks into a planning banquet and comes face-to-face with his mate. Marti Lee feels an instant attraction to the handsome bear shifter but with her secret she resists the pull to Tanner.
Marti has a young son, Dominic at home to protect and keep a secret to keep him safe from the shifter world. Dominic's role in the story is full of cuteness, some humor and being honest as only a small child can be when dealing with secrets and adults. I loved Marti's protectiveness and how accepting Tanner is of her situation and how he makes it so much better for both Marti and her son. Invitation is full of love as the relationship builds between Marti and Tanner.

This novella was about Marti and Tanner. Marti is an interior decorator working on the Bed & Breakfast. Tanner is the brother of Teague (one of the main characters of Persuasion novella 3 in this series) who is a bear shifter as well.
I loved the stubbornness of Marti. It made her interesting like she was hiding. We do find out her "secret" and it's a big one. I was thinking some drama would unfold with the secret but nothing happened and that was a disappointment.
Tanner was such a sweetie. He stood up and took care of things when Marti needed it the most.
Overall, this one was definitely not up to par with the others. It was cute but extremely bland. No action, no drama. Just a bear chasing his love.
I've said it with each novella. That Mae is some woman. Ms. Matchmaker.

The story just gets worse. The "spice scene" and the women are so weak and uninteresting because of this author. What spice? Imagine a better moment when they couldn't take their hands off of each other, but instead, it's a one-and-done, and I'm in love with him so much. She is panicking since it's her son's first shift and she can't stop it from happening. The audiobook is uninteresting and doesn't go into much detail on the women's past until the very end.

Marti had enough to cope with and didn't need the attention of the very sexy, attractive shifter, Tanner, that was invited to the wedding celebration.
However, he was both hot and persistent, and in the end, just what was needed in her life.

The 4th installment of shifters forever. Marti & Tanner's story. It's full of secrets. Not just one sided either. Bear Canton Valley is becoming full of shifters again. But with that brings other things. Mae is the center and matchmaker to everyone that comes there. Can Marti and Tanner learn to trust one another?

This one was much better in that I liked the romance. It's still frustrating to not get a real feel for the world. I feel like so much is left unsaid. It needs more world building but I guess with a book under 100 pages long, you skip it for the sexy parts.

Seems like Chelsea and Grant's wedding are bringing lots of love birds together, or is it that there is something in the air in Bear Canyon Valley?
Mae always seems to hint at having something to do with it though.
Tanner Navarro, Teague's brother shows up unexpectedly, no one expected he would come, Marty certainly didn't expect to see such a bearded hunk at the door.
Marty has to get herself under control, she can't be feeling all antsy about a handsome man, especially not a bear!
Tanner is frozen when he sets eyes on that hourglass figure and his bear is in an uproar! What the heck is going on though, why does the hottie act like she's seen the devil when she doesn't even know him?
Great story, lot's of suspense and surprises!
I was gifted this book for an honest review.

Tanner and Marty are the next victims of Mae's matchmaking. From the first look Tanner and his bear agree Marty is theirs. However, Marty is not going to come willingly. Even though she knows the secret of the people in bear canyon, she doesn't trust shifters and there is no way she is going to give in to her instant attraction to Tanner. Another great addition to the Bear Canyon group and Mae's goal to get more shifters to move here is coming along nicely. Tanner is a strong tough guy and just what Marty needs. I love getting to know the new characters while visiting with the ones we have come to love. This was a fast easy read that flowed along smoothly. The characters are fun, the story is entertaining and will leave you wanting the next book as quickly as possible. A great read for shifter lovers.

Great read. Honestly, I just felt really bad for Tanner. My heart kinda broke for him. Marti was just really not nice to him. LOL. I knew there was a reason for her hostility but still it just made me feel bad for him and wanna smack her sometimes. I kinda wish she gave him the benefit of the doubt. Once we know what happened to her everything kinda made sense and I wasn't so hard on her. If it were me in her shoes I am sure I'd do the same thing. However, I think she should have tried to find someone to help her with Dominic. She knew what he was and she knew it was a matter of time before he lost control in public or something. He's a cub. Tanner was sweet and not once was he a jerk. I liked him a lot. Teague ha the garter belt part was funny. Enjoyed the story and look forward to more from Ms. Thorne.

In this 4th book to the series the main characters are a curvy spunky Marti's who is hiding secrets of the life or death kind plus doesn't trust shifters and Book 3's Teague Navarro's brother, Tanner Navarro who's also a sexy bear shifter.
I enjoyed the first 3 books in the series so far, and this forth book fits perfectly in with them. It's well written, with nicely developed characters that are believable, intriguing, sexy hot and very likeable. The story moved at a smooth steady pace and there is action, lot's of suspense, humor and love in the story. I highly recommend this book and this series.
