Mijn familie en ik werden uitgenodigd voor het huwelijk van mijn neef Jongste Telg op kasteel Vrekkenstein, het kasteel van mijn oom Adelmuis Zondergeld. Nog nooit heb je zo'n aftandse bende gezien of zulke gierigaards ontmoet!
De aanstaande van mijn neef was een kleurloos muizinnetje. Ze heette Maximini en ze was erg rijk. Jongste Telg en oom Adelmuis deden de hele tijd niets anders dan haar op te wijzen dat ze moest bezuinigen! Maximini was niet zo gelukkig met haar aanstaande huwelijk, maar dacht dat ze nooit aan de muis zou komen omdat ze zichzelf zo gewoontjes vond. Maar toen kwam mijn zus Thea in actie en veranderde alles...

This book is about a guy/mouse who gets an invatation to go to his Uncle Samuel S. Stingysnout's castle to see Stevie Stingysnout's(Samule S. Stingysnout's son) wedding. Samuel S. Stingysnout and Stevie Stingysnout are both cheap people/mice. Stevie Stingysnout is gettin married to Patience. Patience used to be a rich, but one day her parents disapeared. Patience's parents barried their money somewhere. Patience doesn't know where her parent's barried the money. Stevie Stingysnout only is marring Patience becuase he hopes to one day find the money and be rich. Patience only agreed to marry Stevie Stingysnout because he is the only man/mouse that she could get. Thea(Geronimo's sister)then gives Patience a makeover. In the end, Thea helps Patience to find her money. Then, Patience calls off the whole wedding. The part I liked about this book is that each chapter kept me wanting to read on and on.

I just hated this book as it was mainly on weddings and love and It was super boring to read and I really dont know how I finished it. I rated it a 1 star because I actually liked a small bit of the story . I dont even think this book is worth 1 star. the part I like in this story was when the lady dumped the guy with Thea's help because I think that was really brave of her to do so and very funny and honestly I think she did the right thing because he was treating like a servant not a wife and I think every one should be treated with respect no matter what and that's not a way to treat anyone . he deserves to be punished and If I were the one to decide how he would be punished I would say to torture the person.

Echt lieve Stilton, dump gewoon je familie. Nou ja, misschien niet je tante en je nichtjes en neefje, maar de rest? Doe het. Thea was gewoon gemeen, Klem was een klootzak+++, die hele familie was gewoon gemeen en ik vond het veel te ver gaan. En ook jammer dat Stilton zich stil hield over wat hij had gezien die ene avond.
Wel leuk vond ik dat ze het muisje (de verloofde) hielpen. Nou ja, vooral Thea ging er voor en ik vond het echt lief en tof van haar.

The boys insisted that I read the entire thing today. They enjoyed the descriptions of Trap’s pranks and the problems caused by Geronimo’s miserly uncle. I found the ending satisfactory.

When I was in second grade, we had a book fair in school and I asked my dad to buy me a Geronimo Stilton book.

When I was in seventh grade, I read the Geronimo Stilton books in our library and it become my life then together with, the Big Nate series: Big Nate Strikes Again, Big Nate: In a Class by Himself, Big Nate on a Roll, Big Nate: Out Loud, etc, The Adventures of Captain Underpants series and Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. So these books are close to heart. I used to hate reading, but these books turned me into an avid reader.

The storyline was interesting... with Geronimo invited to a wedding away from all the luxuries he's used to.

It's nice to re read books from your childhood, even if it's a bit childish for my age.
Geronimo Stilton is a really funny and nice series .In this book, Geronimo received a wedding invitation letter from his uncle, at first he doesn't want to go , but after the pestering of his family he went.after they arrived to the castle they found out that it was in the verge of collapsing , his uncle is a cheapskate and so is his son, one night Geronimo and his family found out that the bride didn't want to marry his cousin but doesn't have a choice since she's poor, and she's an orphan but she does mention that her parents hid money near their home.With the help of Thea Stilton, They found the money and the wedding was called off and everyone went home happily.

it's PATIENCE! and surprise, surprise, stevie is marrying her bc of her secret fortune which no one has found. bc her parents were rich then they disappeared. or died? IDK
uncle samuel is so stingy that he literally has 1 PLY TOILET PAPER. THE WORST. and at night he secretly counts his fortune 😭 (im broke. cannot relate.)

but yes, thea goes to the rescue and saves poor patience from getting married to the stingiest rodent in town. oh wait he lives out of town

Geronimo and his family go to his uncle's castle for his cousin's wedding. His uncle is a very cheap mouse though and they only get teeny tiny bits of food and there's no electricity. The cousin who's getting married is also very cheap and is not very nice to his fiance. Thea and Geronimo think that the fiance, Patience, is too nice for such a rude mouse. Thea ends up giving Patience a makeover and Patience looks better than she did before. The cousin start getting upset about the makeover because of how expensive it is but Patience breaks the engagment and revals that she found her parents money and plans to do lots of fun stuff. Everyone then goes home quickly as there is no more wedding and they do not like staying at the castle.

I personally think that this book deserves this rating because of how engaging this book is. I am a person that somehow hates novel books, but likes to read something about knowledge. But this book, man. The chapter titles are just so mysterous and wanted to keep me reading. I am looking forward for books like this.

Cloa è sempre stata perfetta così com'era, non sono i vestiti, il make up o le persone (selezionate) di cui si circonda a renderla interessante e/o degna di nota. Quanta superficialità in questo libro! Non me lo sarei aspettato. D'altronde bisogna tener conto che, ahimè, è stato scritto a fine anni '90 in Italia. Spero nel frattempo Tea si sia fatta ambasciatrice di altri messaggi.

this was actually a reread because i remembered that i loved this when i read it years ago. and i still LOVE IT. who doesn't love a girl dumping a guy who doesn't deserve her? and my new favourite entertainment is seeing trap and gerenimo trying to flirt with the made-over patience.🤣🤣
