Red Hot and Boom Box Set
All Hat No Cattle by Randi Alexander
It was a wonderful story about how to go about finding true love. Harper was great at what she did for a living but playing hard to get doesn't always get the right guy. She was jumping too many conclusions about Shaw. She was always assuming that all men are a like. They were perfect for each other from the beginning and Harper coming up with just friends was a lot of crock. I loved how Randi wrote the story, she did a great job and it was touching and you wanted to love all the characters even Shaw's buddy's even when they were giving him a hard time.
For Liberty by Rene Folsom
I like how Rene Folsom did this story! It was sad, it was romantic it was like a true story! I liked how Liberty did not give up on her true love because he was serving our country. She knew he was coming home to her and Maxamus even though Max did not know about his little boy. I liked the suspense of whether he was coming home or not and whether he would take to his little boy. It was very touching love story.
Come With Me by Sable Hunter
Love all the Characters! They all fit in perfectly for the story. Jake and Lacy are a perfect match and she needs to get over how her ex treated her and the things he said. She lets thing distract her to easily when she is in a sexual situation. The match makers a great. I liked how it took Lacy's to play a trick so that she would have to be auction of and Jack would bid on her by guessing the dessert she made. It worked out for the best because they were suppose to be together. Sable Hunter really did a great job on writing this love story and goes well with the other books in the set.

I loved the characters, loved the story and it was a good short story. I loved cherry chocolate man.
Scorin' on the Fourth of July by Cassandra Carr
It was w wonderful story! I liked how the romance was around two special hockey players. How they helped each other out in many ways. It was a great romance between a man and a woman. I loved how it took place in Buffalo, NY. I loved how the scenery was described through out the story. It wasn't just love, it's the ups and downs of life.

I loved the story! It was told well! I liked how it was not all sunshine and roses for Betsy and JT. They still loved each other and they worked well together. It was true love with lots of obstacles which was good, it kept them on their toes. It was a great ending to a wonderful story!

Love the characters names! I like the concept of the story with the Marine coming home after serving 6 yrs away at war and a city girl finding a journalism job in a small town. I like how Shae played hard to get for a month but could hold out because was in love. It great ending.

I like Dani's nickname! I like that two men want to share her and she feels the same way even though they don't know it. It was a great story. It was well written, exciting and fun. Hot Romance!

This story had a great concept on relinking the romance in a marriage and the excitement. I liked how Evan used his authority to bring the foreplay back into his marriage. I like how he doesn't want to loose the love of his life. It's a wonderful romance.

It was sad that Mason waited so long to tell Cassie he true feelings. Even though she was with someone else but he knew she was not in a good relationship. I loved that he was a hero of war and he came to his scenes about admitting true love to one woman instead of a different woman a month. Mason and Cassie were perfect for each other being friends and lovers and I am glad they got together. Great romance.

'All Hat No Cattle: A Red Hot and BOOM! story' by Randi Alexander is a fun, hot read. I loved Harper and Shaw. I really enjoyed their story and would love to read more about this pair. *Hint, hint Randi* :) Highly recommend this story to anyone that loves reading about hot cowboys!
'For Liberty: A Red Hot and BOOM! story' by Rene Folsom is a great read. I enjoyed Maximus and Libby. I would love to read more about this couple. Recommended to all fans of romance, soldiers, heart warming quick reads.

All Heat No Cattle by Randi Alexander- This was a great short story!! Very hot and intense! Harper wants a cowboy that meets her expectations and dreams, Shaw wants Harper. The writing and storyline were great. I want to read more from this author.
For Liberty by Rene Folsom- This was a great read. My husband has been deployed so I could relate to Liberty a bit. Liberty and Maximus meet again at a dog kissing booth on Liberty's birthday, and that's when their relationship starts. A long deployment and a couple surprises make for a very nice story!
Come With Me by Sable Hunter and Ryan O'Leary- Wow! This was amazing, I loved it so much! I love love Jake and Lacy!!! There was so much panty wetting deliciousness in this story! I want more!
White Chocolate Cherry by Graylin Rane- This was an interesting story. It was very bdifferent and funny. I am still a little unsure of how I feel about the chocolate God statue that comes to life. I am definitely interested in reading more though!

Stars and Sparks by Christin Lovell- I liked this story, it wasn't my favorite, but it was good. I didn't like the whole skipping through dates to a month ahead. I know it needed to be short and the author probably couldn't do it justice, I just thought it didn't flow as good. But overall it was a great story and I would like to read more from this author.
Firecracker! by Desiree Holt- I thought this was a great story and very well written! I am not a big fan of all the pet names they called Dani and was a little put off by it. But I'm sure to others it's no big deal and it didn't ruin the story for me. Overall I really enjoyed the story!
Sparks Fly by Mari Carr- I really really loved this one! So very hot!! I loved the role playing and happy epilogue! Very well written!
Return to Her by Alexandra O'Hurley- Ahh this was amazing! I really loved this story! Mason is such a gentleman and Cassie is so lucky! Very hot and steamy!

This collection is an Awesome Holiday Treat!!!
I was given a copy of Red Hot and Boom and asked to give my opinion. First let me say that I love "book sets" because it gives me a chance to find good author's I might otherwise miss out on. That being said, Red Hot and Boom not only had several authors I didn't know, but several that I will definitely be buying their books. This set is comprised of 10 sexy romance novels all set around the 4th of July (thus the title LOL)!
These stories are not only sizzling romances they cover a spectrum of genres and emotions. I found myself laughing, crying, happy, sad and everywhere inbetween as I read this set. We have the missing soldiers, the middle age widows, the lonely career gals and of course the sexy alpha males! There were couple's trying to get their groove back, women who learned their are good men in the world and maybe even an Greek God or two. But mainly this set has romance ranging from the sweet, shy and innocent to the erotic va va voom!
I won't give away any more, as I hate spoilers, but I will say this is a great set of well written books that are a must read! Trust me you'll never think of the 4th of July or that holiday picnic the same again!!! 2 THUMBS UP

I have read most of these books in this box set and am totally hooked. A few new to me authors now have a devoted follower along with the authors I already know and love. Hot, hot stories!!! I wish a few of them were longer and hoping their are more to come with the characters I've met in this set. Good job everyone :)

Let me start by saying I am not typically a fan of short stories. I am a fast reader and I prefer longer stories in novel form that I can savor for as long as possible. That being said, these are some of the most amazing short stories I have ever read. I enjoyed this book from start to finish and then went back and started it again. “Red Hot & Boom” indeed!
All of the stories have a Fourth of July/Independence Day theme (hence the title). That is pretty much where the similarities end. They are all unique stories, with their own plots and true to life characters. Out of the ten stories featured, it would be extremely difficult to choose a favorite. It really depends what kind of mood you are in. If you want a sexy threesome, Desiree Holt’s "Firecracker!" is definitely the way to go. If you want an inspiring story about a couple reigniting their fire, Mari Carr practically burns the place down in "Sparks Fly". That is one hot story! And if you want a sweet and sexy love story with a HEA, "Come With Me", by Sable Hunter & Ryan O’Leary is just what you are looking for. There is something for everyone here. This is a phenomenal collection by some very talented writers who have made me a fan of short stories again.
So why only 4.5 hearts out of 5? Well, the reason for that is, out of the 10 stories in the book, I felt that one or two were not quite complete for me. They felt rushed. The stories weren’t as well developed as the others and the endings were quite abrupt. They were good stories and kept me entertained. But they were only good where the others were excellent. Still, I’ve read the book twice already and I can definitely see myself picking it up to read again in the future.

Let me start by saying I am not typically a fan of short stories. I am a fast reader and I prefer longer stories in novel form that I can savor for as long as possible. That being said, these are some of the most amazing short stories I have ever read. I enjoyed this book from start to finish and then went back and started it again. “Red Hot & Boom” indeed!
All of the stories have a Fourth of July/Independence Day theme (hence the title). That is pretty much where the similarities end. They are all unique stories, with their own plots and true to life characters. Out of the ten stories featured, it would be extremely difficult to choose a favorite. It really depends what kind of mood you are in. If you want a sexy threesome, Desiree Holt’s "Firecracker!" is definitely the way to go. If you want an inspiring story about a couple reigniting their fire, Mari Carr practically burns the place down in "Sparks Fly". That is one hot story! And if you want a sweet and sexy love story with a HEA, "Come With Me", by Sable Hunter & Ryan O’Leary is just what you are looking for. There is something for everyone here. This is a phenomenal collection by some very talented writers who have made me a fan of short stories again.
So why only 4.5 hearts out of 5? Well, the reason for that is, out of the 10 stories in the book, I felt that one or two were not quite complete for me. They felt rushed. The stories weren’t as well developed as the others and the endings were quite abrupt. They were good stories and kept me entertained. But they were only good where the others were excellent. Still, I’ve read the book twice already and I can definitely see myself picking it up to read again in the future.
