Surrender
Watching the officers take Norah away was very unsettling. I had faith that she would do everything in her power to protect me. That was the unsettling part. Norah would sacrifice herself in order to save me. I didn't want it that way. I didn't want her involved in this mess at all. I tried to keep her out of these kinds of things. I have tried to keep her in the dark about who I really am. Despite my best efforts she still knows me better than I know myself.
She has been my hope, when all hope was lost. She has been my daydream, when I had were nightmares. She is my happiness, when all I have is sadness. She sees the best in me when all I see is the worst. The only time I get scared is when she is scared too.
Looking down on Norah while she is unsure, sad and stuck in a hole, the only thing I can do is jump in the hole with her.
It only takes a small glimmer of light to take away the darkness.

Great conclusion to this series! Loved these characters and had a great ending to their story. Very exciting reading - a real page turner for me!

5 AMAZING AND FREAKING HOT STARS!!!

This book… well, how do I even begin? *sigh* It was a roller coaster ride of emotions and suspense. I was quite a bit apprehensive of how Norah and Liam’s story was going to end but I do have to admit that the awesome Leslie Sansom certainly did not disappoint and since the much awaited conclusion of the Keeping Her in the Dark series finished off with a mighty bang!!!
This last installment in the series follows deeper into the married life of the couple and shows us how life gets even worse for the lovers after some unforeseen circumstances that leave the both of them emotionally distressed… They will both have to struggle with their emotions and Norah’s and Liam's love for each other will be tested. We will also see that even some monsters are capable of love but that does not mean that Liam will let Norah leave… ever!
This series is one of the best and most amazing dark books that I have had the chance to read this year. The sex is off the charts HOT!! I really loved how their story finally ended since I had always thought that Norah and Liam's love story was perfect. I do recommend this book to all those love reading about obsessive, possessive and slightly crazy alpha males who are not afraid to fight for those who they love…

Wow what a great ending to a emotional roller coaster of Liam and Norah, wow the author Leslie Sansom, really takes you on one actioned pack, suspense adventure.
This is the first series of books I am reading from Leslie, I like her style of writing, but only have one issue, there is too much repetition. Some parts of Norah, just annoyed the hell of me, reading from book 4 her character should get stronger, not weaker.
Apart from that, Liam being a dominant, he was the sweetest and the most caring Husband. Once he found out his Wife was pregnant, Norah thought he will be so angry to find out she was pregnant in their marriage. He was strong and strong for Norah.
I love how Leslie wrapped up this story, I am going to miss this couple, they went through alot together and came out winners at the end, I highly recommend the series

Dark story comes to an end
I like dark stories with adult themes, however I felt there was too much turmoil, too many arguments and too many stupid decisions by characters who were complicated, but intelligent and should have known better. Seems like the series could have been 1 less book, the characters, choices and twist farther flushed out and more realistic.
