What a great start to a series!
You are always in for a treat with a Silk White book. This was a page turner from beginning to end. I am never disappointed when I read his books. There is excitement, drama, ratchetness and a certain level of mystery as you keep turning the pages. The story line is concise and has a nice flow. The characters are easy to follow and you can tell which characters you will like or hate right in the first scenes. The typesetting was on point however there were a few grammatical errors but not enough for me to stop reading. It is a fast moving and entertaining read which makes it a fascinating story that makes you want to know what happens next. I can’t wait to read part 2. Keep up the good work Silk. You have a true supporter.

All I can say is wow! You never know what's to come when there's problems within the business. I knew from the beginning things wouldn't be good concerning Jimmy. He was a true hothead and needed to learn how to think things through instead of reacting before getting all the necessary information. The Mason family was involved in too much and some careless mistakes could cause serious repercussions. Eric may have been a pushover before but I think that's surely about to change after that ending. Alvarez tried to pull a fast one on Derrick and Kelly was downright wrong. I can't wait to find out more in part 2 and if the Mason's will continue on with their business is business mindset or get right before things get too out of hand.

Not My Brothers Keeper
Wow This book starts off with heat! Jimmy is straight up gangsta with no respect or regards to anyone. I didn't think Eric had it in him but Jimmy must've hit that weak spot in him. Kelly is a trifling hot thot that at the end of the day should be on somebody's corner. I wonder how Derrick will like his new housing and if you'll adapt as well as Millie? Mike can only straddle that fence for so long before he has to piss or get off the pot. My first time reading anything written by Author Silk White and I must say he brought to heat in this!

I hear that business is business. Hey we don't mix business with pleasure to guess what this is personal and pow there it goes. Heart what it wants but sometimes you can;t have your cake and eat it too Kelly you messing with the wrong brother. Jimmy is a bit to wild for me but I guess without him we won't have a story would we. The streets is hot and the family drama is hotter. Somebody gots to go. I vote for ______, lol let me get to part 2 maybe then I could tell you who has to go. :-). Excellent job Author Silk White.

Silk White never disappoints. This was really good read. Mason family thinks they run ish but maybe not. Jimmy n Kelly nasty n Eric the weak link. Mike is going to have to choose. Millie gonna kill Derrick lol. But what it comes down to is Business is Business. Great read Silk as always.

May 19, 2024I think this may very well be my SECOND FAVORITE Series by Silk White. It kinda reminds me a little bit of the Duncan family (The Family Business-1-3 the Duncan Brothers (LC, LARRY, LOU), before a certain co-author was ALLOWED to MESS UP THE SERIES WITH TFB 4-7!) BUT MORE GRIMIER & Contemporary.

This was a page turner. The story was filled with lots of drama and action. There were several grammatical and punctuation errors but the story was still easy to follow. I'm moving on to part two because I have to know what happens next!

Quick read. That darn Jimmy made me wanna pop him smh. Lots of foreshadow but the unforeseen twists are exciting. lucky I already have book too so I can go right into the next part.
