Trapped

This was such a great story with Michelle and Wayne. I could totally see why she was afraid to get into a relationship. But Wayne was so amazing to be so supportive and the endless amounts of patience he’s had for her. Even his relationship with her daughter Claire was so sweet. I loved seeing these two finally come together. They were so deserving of one another.

This was such a good book. I couldn’t put it down without wanting to go back for more. I 10/10. Recommend reading this book.

I spent a fair bit of time wondering where this book was going but it all comes together in the end.
Michelle is a single mother to Claira following the death of her abusive husband. She returns home, working for the Serpents MC and meets Wayne. His road name is ironic (fluffy) but he is a good guy. Things get difficult when Claira returns to Texas at the request of her paternal grandmother. Lots of action with abductions, murders and secrets... including an unexpected child.

Wayne and Michelle
Wayne was a good man. He loved Michelle and I understand her guarding herself but she made me want to shake her so many times. Her daughter Clara was acting out but not for the reasons Michelle was uses.
Wayne was so patient and deserved more at times. The plot was insane and I knew that drunken night was going to come back later. I did love how they handled it and the how things wrapped up. Nice intro read for me to this author.

This gritty and twisty book was hard to put down. It had me holding my breath and gritting my teeth a few times as I waited to see how the main characters would fair in a dangerous situation. One thing became clear. No matter what anyone thought of his road name (Fluffy) or him being a member of The Serpents MC, Wayne is not a man to be trifled with. While he was capable of violence, Michelle and her daughter Claira never see that side of him aimed toward them. No matter how many times Michelle breaks things off with him, he is a one woman man and totally loyal to her. He considers Claira to be his daughter too. He supports and protects both of them with everything in him. When trouble comes for mother and daughter, no matter what the relationship status is, Wayne, with help from his club brothers, steps up to safeguard the two women he loves. Unfortunately, Michelle’s troubled past comes back to taught them..
Michelle is a fiercely independent, feisty and determined Mama bear. Her daughter is her life and she will do anything to protect her. When she finally escaped from her late husband and his family, she came back to Tennessee. He is patiently waiting for her to commit to a life with him. It’s the commitment that bothers her because of the marriage she endured, but she is reluctant to even talk about her past with Wayne. She has dark secrets that she doesn’t want anyone to know. Unfortunately, fourteen years after she left Texas with her daughter, those secrets have come back to haunt her. Her late husband’s family is determined to reclaim her daughter and make Michelle pay for her perceived sins. Michelle finally admits to herself that having Wade on their side, always offering his support and protection is more than she deserves after the way she has pushed him away in the past. Wayne has the patience of a saint (a very dirty one 😉) and deserved so much more at times. A few times I wanted to jump in the book and shake Michelle for not seeing how good of a man she had found. The plot was insane and a few times I was genuinely wondering wth but it all came together. I knew that drunken night was going to come back later but I am thankful for the way it did and the how things ended. This was a quick, very fast paced read. This author is new to me and a great intro book.

Once the plot kicked into gear with Michelle’s in‑laws, the tension really sharpened and the story became far more gripping. There were moments where I genuinely wasn’t sure she’d make it out in one piece, and although some of the “tests” and injuries felt a little unclear, the stakes for both women were unmistakably high.
I wasn’t fully convinced by the romance between Michelle and Wayne as she remained quite closed off for almost the entire time, which made the connection feel uneven. But his relationship with Claira added a lovely emotional thread that made their dynamic more worthwhile. Overall, an intense and engaging read with strong suspense elements and a standout father-daughter bond.

Awesome book. MC theme with a romance that thrilled, is the only way to put it. Danger suspense and drama.
Wayne is a member of the Serpent's MC and when Michelle came to work for them, he knew she was guarded and not easily trusting.
I enjoyed the suspense with this book. MC books never fail to satisfy and this was one of best.
The writing was very easy read, and her characters sold the story so well. A pleasure to read this book and can't wait for the next.

Michelle had a hard time in her life. After her crazy husband dies, she runs away from Texas. Now she is with Wayne, but only giving him so much. He takes it because he loves her, after all. Ex husband’s family is crazier and have a very sense of revenge towards Michelle and her daughter Claira. Lots of twists and turns happen until Michelle realizes she has a great partner in Wayne and he loves her and Claira a lot.
It’s a nice and fast read. Very emotional. Loved it.

This story gripped me from the beginning and wouldn’t let go. Michelle is running with her daughter Claira but we aren’t sure of all the reasons. Slowly they are revealed and WOW. Wayne is the biker who is alpha protective and loves Michelle. The twists and turns keep you glued to this one. Enjoy

Michelle has gone through some crazy days in her life and she's scared to trust another man. But, Wayne sticks around and proves he can love her the way she needs. Claira loves Wayne as a father, so it only makes sense they wind up together in the end.

A Sky Security Novel written by M.R. Becker
I have not read many books by this author but I am so glad I picked this one up. This kept me up all night reading because the characters just drew me into their world and I couldn’t get out!
