You might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Rus sexy as all get out estranged brother and ex. to our girl Bratva royalty for the most part with revenge on his mind for everything his brother has done to him pushing him out of Colorado among other things although he isn’t a man you want on your radar, he is dangerous, ruthless on a good day, deadly every day and when he meets his brother’s ex. yep, the very one realizing there is more to her. Emma ex-fiancé has done so much to her, putting her through the wringer making her think she was going left when indeed she was going right, just a horrid man, effecting her career and so she decided to take a much needed vacation just to heal from it all. But she never dreamed she would run into the very man she had hoped to avoid the brother of her ex. fiancé but learning he is nothing like his brother in fact he is out to get him and so joining forces to take him down became both their missions, will they realize they are stronger against him together than apart, will his brother get what he deserves, and will it actually lead to happiness?

An ad got me and I was sucked in so hard.

I’m a sucker for the typical mafia tropes and as a first time read for this author I really enjoyed it!

The romance/ tension and tenderness that developed between Rus and Emma had me in a chokehold. The way it’s described had me aww-ing out loud yall!

Plus daddy Ruslan 🥵 I would be just as gone for him as Emma is!

The ending felt a tad rushed for me and I wish we could’ve gotten a bit more time with them but everything ended in a satisfying way.

The entire blurb is a lie.

"When your abusive ex cheats, you get revenge. By sleeping with his older Bratva brother." Is it getting revenge if it's an accident? She didn't even know who he was or who he was related to.


"That night he spoiled me with Russian delicacies.
Ate dessert off my body.
And buried himself in every broken part of me.

I never thought I'd see him again."

This makes it sound like it was a one night stand setup. But no, she literally ran away the next morning when she figured out who he was after seeing her ex on the news.

What was described in the blurb though, is not what actually happens.

They meet in the dress shop, they hookup, she finds out who he is next morning, and she takes the fuck off. She doesn't get far because he used his mafia-ness to put her on the do not fly list. So she tries a bus. He catches her. She gets away. She punches a dude in the throat, she gets caught, and then they can't keep their hands off each other. Like that's in, she just gives in.

He's a bratva pakhan- but he wants her consent to do a full background investigation on her? She's his fucking prisoner, but he's hot so NBD I guess?

This was a good story, with a slow-burn romance that gradually developed between Russ and Emma.
The central focus was Russ’s desire for revenge against his brother, but once Emma entered his life, his priorities shifted—he began to fall for her and felt compelled to protect her.

The minor characters, Frank and Kate, were delightful additions who added warmth and balance to the narrative.

However, there were a few plot holes that could have used more explanation. For instance, it was never fully clear why Emma left the FBI. We’re told several things, but none of them provide a proper reason—did she help the villain and then turn against him, or did she leave out of fear? And if she was supposedly terrible at lying, how did she ever manage to become an FBI agent in the first place?

The ending felt rather anticlimactic. The story built toward something significant throughout, only to fizzle out without the payoff it seemed to promise.

This story Deals with a lot of different issues And it still is a good book

When reading books of the Mafia you're going to have the criminal aspects such as Gambling, shootings, And trafficking. And this book does touch a little bit on it but it's more about the main charactersPeriods are well Periods are well written and well thought out. This book had so many twists and turns you can't help but fall in love with this dynamic couple as they battle each other for dominence. Emma has been through the wringer with her ex-fiance as well her FBI career now she is running away and taking a much need vacation trying to get away from everything. Never in her wildest dreams did she ever think the one man she would get involved is her ex's older brother. Rus was pushed out of Colorado by his brother who is as dirty as they come but has always walked away with nothing sticking to him. Now he has the means of revenge and it all comes in the dynamic package of Emma, who he cannot get out of his mind and wants to keep for himself. This book is full of action, and chemistry between the main characters that keep you on the edge of your seat and laughing. This is a must read!!!

I really enjoyed The Wrong Brother! This one had everything I look for in a good Bratva romance—danger, possessiveness, family drama, secrets, and plenty of chemistry between the characters. The age-gap dynamic added an extra layer to their relationship, especially with the whole “wrong brother” situation making things even more complicated.

I liked watching their relationship develop and seeing the push and pull between them. There was definitely some drama and tension along the way, but it kept me turning the pages because I wanted to see how everything would play out. The chemistry was 🔥 and the possessive Bratva hero was definitely a highlight for me.

If you enjoy dark-ish mafia romance with an age gap, forbidden feelings, family complications, and a protective, obsessive hero, this is definitely one to add to your list. I had a great time reading it!

Russ and Emma what a couple. Heads up I fell for Russ from the start. He may want revenge against his brother , but a woman with curves and inner strength is the one that shows him what a family can be. A man who loves his niece Kate and separates his dark life with the one that gives him life. Emma is ex FBI. A woman who has so many doubts about herself and her past still haunts her. Her inner strength and sassy, pulls at Russ.
A deal, family, secrets and pure heated romance.
The characters will pull you in and trust me you will root for them and fall hard for them. Now Frank stole the show on many pages.

Now, when I read this in the epilogue the first thing I thought was "HOLY HADES! Things are going to get heated quick!" And they did. Ruslan and Emma's journey is intense, gritty, dramatic and full of action, danger and chaos. It's a fantastic, age gap read and these characters are explosive together! Their story brings in all the twists, turns and surprises that I love in a mafia story. It kept me completely engaged from start to finish.

Ruslan and Emma had me all caught up in this book. She is on vacation trying to piece her life back together after breaking up with her now ex-fiancé. When a man comes to her aide after trying on a dress sparks fly and a connection forms. Little does she know that he is her ex's older brother and when the truth all comes out Ruslan will formulate a plan that exacts not only revenge but brings to deserving people together. It is a well written book filled with action-packed drama along with compelling characters that brings this story to life.

From the second I read the premise—Bratva royalty, her ex’s estranged brother, and a mutual plot for revenge—I knew this was going to be an insane ride, and it did not disappoint. Ruslan and Emma have such an explosive, firey dynamic. The author crafts a fantastic age-gap story filled with grit, high-tension drama, and constant twists that keep you guessing. If you love dark, action-packed mafia romances with worshipping, possessive heroes, this is a must-read!.

I liked this one more than I thought I would.
Ruskin has a protective side that rears its head around Emma and when they find they know the same person he really shows her who matters, even if it makes him uncertain….
