On first read in 2017: 4.5 stars from me. I really appreciated how the authors went about using children's' imagination to externalize problems, as I thought that it was very unique. The ideas in this book are definitely intended to be used with younger children (I would say no older than pre-teens). I also loved the concept of the wonderfulness interview (as someone who is interested in a positive and strengths-focused approach). The only thing that kept this from being a 5 star read for me was some of the dialogue in the case examples. The examples given showed the authors speaking much more than the children, doing little reflecting, and asking multiple questions at the same time. However, I realize that it must be hard to portray how the conversation actually went in a book.
