Interesting book, my first on this subject and a good introduction, with plenty of words and phrases to look up now

Secrets

The Lord has blessed us with so many provocative statement synonym that are conducive to our being. All one has to do, it's the simply open heartedly, and wholeheartedly, ask the creator of the end-all-be-all, the step directly into our personal being, physical state of being, and it will be granted. People don't seem to want to take the chance to let go of the things that are supposedly familiar but empty, the last song definite state of being in creator of our entire experience, on every level. Peace and blessings be to the one that puts air into my lungs second-by-second

Before reading this book, the subject of the Kabbalah was a bit confusing to me. So I found this R+C journal issue a really interesting and useful introduction to the topic. The general concepts and terminology are easy to understand. Now I know what to look for since I want to continue delving deeper into the Kabbalah.

The last article was my favorite, because even though physics and mystics are not the same, they do convey our soul to the same divine perception if we know how to look.

Well worth picking up for the article"Kabbalah and Contemporary Cosmology" by Daniel C. Matt alone. It was one of the best-written articles Rosicrucian Digest has ever featured and one of the best I've read personally about that wonderful intersection where science and spirituality meet.

Quite Mystical

One can only appreciate the length of this By studying the hundreds of books on Rosicrucians. All of the different sects are Historically interesting, much of what I have not been familiar with.

Always a good read

I love the author. Brings the arcane into understandable perspective. Also I was quite pensive, and these questions were answered!

Kabbalah, Rosicrucian Digest

Kabbalah, Rosicrucian Finest by Ralph Maxwell Lewis, Julie Scott, Lloyd Abrams, etc. is a fairly interesting book, but it is difficult to understand.

Rosicrucian perspective on the Kabbalah

This is a journal format publication written by individuals with academic backgrounds. It is well researched, and footnoted. It covers a wide area and provides in-depth coverage.

Good Basic Information

While there always seems to be quite a bit of excellent information in anything put out by The Rosicrucians/AMORC, I’m hesitant to buy into whatever they’re selling too deeply. My best advice for anything one might read is to be circumspect; remember that while the information may seem legitimate, it may not be. Sometimes, we’re just being led by the nose.

As far as the information presented here on the Kabbalah – how much can be skewed after the fact? Well, possibly quite a bit. However, if nothing else these little ‘vignettes’ provide a short overview of the highlighted events (typically) for any given subject. Which this book seems to do well enough.

Short, terse, to the point, it provides a condensed version of the subject of the Kabbalah.

Good enough for an overview.

PS: Just read a review of this book by a gentleman who stated that this book was written by degreed individuals implying that because they had degrees they must be telling the truth. This is not to say that they’re not. But what it DOES say (to me, anyway) is that often a degreed individual who is relaying information is only relaying that information because it has been relayed to them (they’re either read it in a book or online, or heard it in a university lecture, etc.). Even if that isn’t the case – maybe, say these ‘degreed’ individuals actually happened to physically uncover/discover this information, this isn’t to say that the information wasn’t planted in order to be found by them. Even testing methods such as Carbon-14 dating have been found to often be erroneous. So who to believe? Just best to keep an open mind regarding all possibilities. But not so open that your proverbial brains fall out. :-)
