The Assassin's Revenge series goes out with a BANG!
Love made us bold and love made us fools and at this moment, I couldn't tell which one I was.
I was emotionally compromised by the ending to the previous Assassin's Revenge book, Freed. I'm gonna drop a truth bomb on you - ready for this? - I was a bit worried going into this book.

I wanted the conclusion to Ellie and Alexander's story, but I was nervous about what I was going to get...

I mean, at the end of Freed, Dylan was dead. The mission was over. Ellie and Alexander came clean to each other about who they are and what they do... There was nothing left except for this pair to ride off into the kinky sunset together, right?

Wrong.

Ellie was a teenager when she was snatched from a parking lot in Cleveland and shipped off to Nigeria to become the unwilling sex slave of Dylan McAllister. She spent two years being beaten, raped, tortured, and tormented.

She barely survived the experience. She was saved by Lucien, an assassin with a grudge against Dylan, and spent the next several years training to kill the man who kept her captive and the guards who helped him.

She was a child, then a slave, then a weapon.
She never had a chance to just be Ellie.

At the end of the previous book, Alexander sent Ellie away so she could find herself without his influence. An awesome move, but c'mon... These two belong together. Ellie moving to San Francisco was only delaying the inevitable return and grand reconciliation.

So... I was worried that this book was going to be an extended epilogue for the series... All fluff and happy endings to conclude a series that had been gripping, and a little dark, and oh so entertaining.

I was wrong.

I should have trusted Tara Crescent.
She's never let me down.
This was brilliant storytelling with all the action, suspense, and sexiness I've come to love from this series.

The final book in the Assassin's revenge series started with a Prologue that rocked. My. World. Dylan might be rotting in his grave, but new enemies have appeared in the wake of Ellie's successful revenge mission.

It's been eighteen months since Ellie was forced to walk away from Alexander and start a new life in San Francisco.

Ellie's former trainer, Lucien has gone off the deep end. He too lived a life devoted to revenge, but when Ellie took the shot that killed Dylan McAllister, Lucien felt robbed of the opportunity to avenge his sister.

His reality has become distorted. He feels that Ellie and Alexander are his enemies. He has shifted his single-minded focus on them.

He has a new mission.
Destroy Alexander Hamilton and Ellie Samuelson.

Meanwhile, it becomes clear that there is a traitor in Alexander's inner circle. He doesn't know who to trust, but he knows he needs to keep the people he loves safe, so he pulls Ellie from her new life in San Francisco.

ELLIE SAMUELSON
He was the first and only man I had ever loved. If we died today, I would take that with me. Horrible things had happened in my life, but so had amazing and wonderful things. I'd found love without expecting to.
It's been eighteen months since Alexander and Ellie have seen each other, but Ellie has spent that time wisely. She started college, got a condo, a cat, and started figuring out who she is...

The time spent on her own really did her a world of good, and it was a joy to see her character come so far. She is a badass and a survivor.

And she's headed back to Paris...
To the man she left behind...
The man she still loves...

ALEXANDER HAMILTON
"You were always real. You were a mixture of bravery and fear that I understood because in many ways, I recognized it in myself. Maybe I believe in destiny, bright star, because you were a part of me from the day I met you."
Alexander has been a fascinating and complex character from the very beginning. He's whip-smart and ruthless, yet he can be so warm and kind.

He isolated himself in much the same way that Ellie did - focusing on a single goal to the detriment of everything around him.

He sent Ellie away as the final piece of evidence (to himself) that the sins of the father would not be the sins of the son.

There's a lot that has to happen for these two before they can fall back into old habits. Their first two rendezvous were full of lies, it's almost like meeting for the first time.

Ellie and Alexander must navigate the threats stacked up against them.

Ellie must return to Nigeria to the place she was held captive.

And before this book is over, Ellie will have to choose between the man who saved her and the man who set her free.

Everything else, you'll just have to read for yourself! :)

All told, this was an impressive series with a phenomenal finale.

It was quite different from the usual kinky romances I've come to expect from Tara Crescent, but it was a fabulous addition to her catalog, and I loved it.

We still had the trademark kink factor and a focus on mature main characters, but with this series we had an injection of suspense and the darker side of humanity. We saw the horrors of human trafficking, and watched one young woman rise above all of it to find hope and love.

Yes yes yes totally loved this book. After reading book three I thought with another few pages added to book three the series could have been finished off nicely. How wrong was I!!

I'm so sad to see this series ending. My heart was in my mouth while reading parts. Other parts had me smiling at my kindle. My heart ached for Ellie. I felt as if I was going through emotions with the characters.

Make sure you read these books in order. You won't regret it.

Tara’s talent is just amazing, sets you up and weaves a awesome story around you. She never fails to deliver. Tara will always be one of my fav authors.

This series Assassin’s Revenge has been just another feather in Tara’s cap. Claimed book 4, a great addition to the already intense roller coaster of emotions.

Alex walked away, I think it was good that he did. He knew Ellie would never have a chance to find herself, if he hadn’t walked away. Ellie has been through so much at the same time burying a lot of emotions.

All I can say is damn I wanted to finish but I didn’t want to finish it. Should I jump a couple of pages then come back? But wow... When situations heat up Ellie just might be left in a position to choose. Then man that found her and set her on the path of revenge, isn’t at all happy with the turn of events and decides to do something about it.

You will have to read all the books, but know it will be well worth it. The wonderful characters, the intense story line, the hot smexy scenes...as well as the well written BDSM scenes. This book... This series will show you why Tara is on her game.

Recommended and enjoyed.

This book was an ARC fir the author...I've been so lucky to have read the whole series.

This is the conclusion to Alexander and Ellie's story. We finally get to see them getting to really know each other as people. The story starts with Ellie in San Francisco, who has been their forc18 months, but finally deciding she's got her life back together, such so, that she's decided she can not live her life with out Alexander. An attempt on Alexander's life, and it's linked to Ellie, is the only excuse Alexander needs to seek Ellie out and bring her back into his arms. She returns to Paris and their love grows from there. They "play" together and make made passionate love, but they also fight a common enemy. I did feel sorry for Lucien...he'd fought so hard, and then just goes off the rails...not sure it would be so spectacularly...would he take a woman, after what happened to his sister?....I'm not sure??, but he was one sick man at the end. Which was such a shame.

The book ends on a HEA, with the possibility for more, which left me happy

Great book, great series...fab x

Abduction, Revenge and True Love

As well as BDSM what more do you need for a great book. Part 4 really brought the whole series together. This writer has a wickedly wonderful way of pulling a series together. My criteria of a great book or movie is one that can make me both cry and laugh this did both as well as being thought provoking. I hope you all read and enjoy as I did.

So this is good . Ellie is a trained assassin. She has trained for years to be able to get revenge on the men who kidnapped and raped her when she was younger. She meets Alexander at a bar and there is an actual connection. But she can't indulge in it because it will interfere with her plans.

The 4 books are actually 4 parts of one book. But the book is very good. Ellie is on a mission. She has been trained by a man who is also out to get revenge for the rape and torture and eventual death of his sister.

In order to reach the man responsible for kidnapping her, Ellie attends a consensual slave auction. She is attempting to be bought by the man who manages his finances. And it turns out to be Alexander.

Too many secrets are between them, but they still manage to trust each other. In the end it turns out that was a good thing. And no matter how many traffickers they take down, there is always another to take their place. (less)

Assassins revenge series

I thoroughly enjoyed every book in this series. It was a darker subject matter than I usually read but the storyline was so engrossing that I just had to keep going. Well done Tara!

The Assassin’s Revenge series deals with the ugly subject of human trafficking in the sex trade. It has some very graphic descriptions of the trauma Ellie survived as well as some other minor characters. These descriptions might be disturbing to some readers, which is why I mention them. With that being said, I feel they were necessary to build on Ellie’s character and her reasons for becoming an assassin. I won’t lie; I had my doubts about whether it was a good idea to mix a BDSM story in with this theme. I worried that this would be one of those stories that have the characters come into the BDSM world because their trauma caused them to want that. It was not. I thought the author did a brilliant job of showing the difference between a dom/sub relationship and what Ellie survived at the hands of Dylan. Over all this is a good 4 star read, and I enjoyed this series. I thought the sex was varied and hot. Watching Ellie and Alexander’s relationship and trust grow was entertaining, and there was enough action to keep me reading.

Claimed is book four and I was doubtful that I would enjoy it because I had trouble getting into book 3. It didn’t take long to realize that this was a necessary part to really bring closure to the relationship between Alexander and Ellie. This book picks up after Ellie has learned what it’s like to have a normal life. Of course, that doesn’t mean she’s not still miserable without Alexander. He, naturally, feels the same. They come together to deal with a new danger. Ellie faced many more demons in this book, and I felt much more closure for her. This book continued with kinky BDSM scenes, but it also added some very sweet moments between Alexander and Ellie. This is my favorite of the series, likely because it finally gave me the closure I had been craving since book 1. I gave this one 4.5 stars.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I received this book for an honest review.
18 months since he walked away, 18 months trying to figure out who she is, her own likes/dislikes, wants and needs away from the personas she took on while exacting her revenge. 18 months just living! Now Ellie knows she wants Alexander back, but does he want her? Will he have moved on? Ready to take a step only to be interrupted when her ex partner in revenge Lucien decides to focus his sights on Alexander. Can she pick between the man who saved her life and the man who truly saved her soul?
I was waiting on pins and needles for this final book as that third book made me throw my kindle across the room the way it ended I couldn't wait for this last book hoping that Ellie could find her HEA! With a lot of series I often find myself disappointed with the final installment either leaving me with too many unanswered questions or just feeling unfinished. This book however as the perfect ending to what for me is hands down my favorite Tara Crescent series. Each book in this series took me for a ride and this last book followed perfectly both being thrilling and emotional like the three previous installments. I HIGHLY recommend you one click this series it's well worth it. This is not a standalone novel and books 1-3 need to be read in order before reading this one.

Review for CLAIMED..BOOK FOR IN THE ASSASSINS SERIES

It has been 18 months since Alexander walked away from Ellie after she killed Dylan McCallister, his father. He set her free so she could experience the life she had missed as a captive. Alexander loves her more than life itself, but knew this was what he had to do. He even arranged her cover story for the time she had been gone and set her up financially until she puts herself back together. Ellie is now in school and she has had regular sessions with a psychiatrist to help her deal with her demons. But her world is still empty….she wants Alexander. She needs him like she needs air to breathe and so she makes plans to go to Paris and find him. But she never gets a chance to use her ticket because JeanLuc finds her and tells her Alexander needs her. Her old mentor Lucien, has decided that Alexander is his next target…and quite possibly Ellie is one too. Once in Paris, she gives them the information she has about Lucien…anything to keep Alexander safe and alive. They also fall into each others arms once again, but this time as two adults who know who they are and what they need. But is that going to be enough to keep them both alive when Lucien is determined to have his revenge ??

** ARC received from the Author in exchange for an honest review courtesy of Words Turn Me On Book Blog**

Claimed book 4 and the concluding instalment to what has been one of the best Romantic Suspense series I have read in a long time and fully deserving of the five star rating…Ms Crescent take a bow!

I was slightly apprehensive about entering into the fourth instalment as wasn’t really sure where the plotline was going to go especially with how book three ended and if things would unravel further or come together, so imagine my surprise when not only did it still have more twists and turns than a helter skelter. The suspense was still edge of your seat gripping and pretty sure I had to blow on my kindle a few times as the “sexy time” was off the charts hot!

I’ve loved being on Ellie and Alex’s journey throughout this series. I’m pretty sure my nerves have been shot to hell while I have firmly been strapped into the rollercoaster of emotions but every single cliff hanger, deceit, abuse and then love was worth it and to be honest pretty jealous to those that get to read it for the first time…

Got the happy ending I was routeing for since book one…hoping we haven’t heard the last from Ellie and Alex and maybe their journey isn’t quite finished…

Tara Crescent has done it again with this brilliant book.

Well it's been 18 months since Elle killed Dylan. She is trying to live the life she wanted. She has a cat named Midnight, she is in college, she has friends. The only thing that is missing from her life is Alexander.

Elle can't stop thinking about Alexander and decides to go to Paris and see once and for all if she ever stood a chance with him or if she ever had him in the first place.

Alexander in return has reverted into a shell since he made Elle leave. One night Alexander decides to go out with his team to sample some cheap beers. When bullets start flying out and one of his men goes down.

Lucian is out of his mind with worry for his sister. He recieves a mystery letter. What does he do now???

What will happen when Alexander and Elle see each other again? Who is the mystery person?

I was given this free for my honest review, this is the aftermath after Dylan. Ellie has spent the last eighteen months finding herself after Alexander sent her away to do just that, it was the hardest thing he had ever done but he made sure that while she was on the plane he had arranged money, a place and papers for her, which she had when she arrived in San Francisco. Lucian has totally gone off the scales unknown to Ellie and now wants them both dead. This series has just got better and better, it keeps you on the edge of your seat for all the right reasons with very hot scenes and romantic times too but you get to hear about the other characters previously which keep you guessing what could possibly happen next...... absolutely brilliant.

I was given this book from the author in return for an honest review. This has been a fantastic series by Tara Crescent. It shows BDSM as it is supposed to be. It is all about pleasure, and that is pleasure for all parties involved. One of the other reasons that I really liked this book is the strong females that are in it. In most romance books, the man is usually the strong one, but this book not only shows a strong man, but shows some really strong females. After the third book, you were kind of wondering why not just end this book with Alexander and Emma living happily ever after, but I am so glad that it continued for one more book. The Epilogue makes it seem that there might be more from some of these characters, and I would love that.

So this is the last book or installment in the Assassin's Revenge series, and let me tell you it was one hell of a freaking-fantastic-ride!
It begins where it ended in book # 3 and slowly and steady all the loose ends come nicely into place making me fall over and over again in love with Alexander and Ellie's story and cheering for their cause all the way to the end.
We get a new villain, we get to go to Africa, some sexy-freaking-hot sex scenes, a happy ending and a hint that the story might not be over yet...
I really hope this story gets picked up for a television series or movie, it has all the right elements in it to be a hit !

Wow, CLAIMED, Book 4!

Holy shit...really, amazeballs...did you ever see this coming? 18 months in San Francisco...finding herself. Well, I could find myself in San Diego (OK I could find some SEALS and forge ahead making new sexual fantasies and dreams) but Ellie needs to just be...

Do you remember Lucien, you know, the one that rescued Ellie? OMG, this has been an awesomely suspenseful, sexy, darker voyage through the trials and tribulations of Ellie (and Alexander) and can they let the past go? Can the create a future for themselves? I can tell you, I LOVED THIS ENTIRE SERIES...omg 5 GLORIOUS STARS and more...

***I received and ARC in exchange for an honest review.***

This book is intense with everything that you learn about Ellies (aka Rachel) past. Her life was turned upside down very quickly. She escaped a man and a place that not many people can do or succeed at. From that moment on, all she wanted was nothing but revenge and she would do anything to kill the man who harmed her.

I really enjoyed these books and look forward to more writing from Tara Crescent. I loved the idea of a revenge story especially for something like this. You hear about things happening like this all the time.

Rachel,Ellie,Jenny and Alexander

I loved this series, the character were areal and the plot was awesome. Bitter revenge can sometimes be your best friend. Without the revenge Alexander wouldn't have met Rachel. Rachel's revenge is the only thing that keeps Ellie going,in the story the main character is a woman with several names. She starts out as Ellie and she ends her story being Ellie. Human trafficking and sex slaves are the main theme in this book. This book has triggers ,so read the reviews ,before buying . I loved it and I will definitely read more from this author. Thanks Tara it was an awesome journey. BonBon

This was a great ending to the series. I am sad to see that Ellie and Alexander story has come to an end, and, I hope there will be a spin off with Jean-Luc As the main male character. I highly recommend the series, there are many ups and downs, twists and turns, and an array of emotions, it was a great roller coaster ride.

After nearly two years of living her life away from Alexander, Ellie decides it is time to see him again. Just days before her flight, Jean Luc shows up and whisks her away to Paris. Lucien, Ellie's savior and mentor, has decided to avenge his sisters' death by killing Alexander. By bringing Ellie to paris they hope to protect her and keep Lucien from using her to get to Alexander. Before long it's obvious that there is a traitor among Alexander's security. Loved this series!

I received a copy for an honest review and I am SO glad that somehow before this series started I discovered Tara's books as I have absolutely LOVED this entire series! There really was everything I would want- romance, mystery, suspense. I'm not a huge fan of series but these were great- nice and juicy and I really loved the length of the full series. I really felt connected to the characters and I sincerely hope we see them again in other books. I would love to hear what happens next with Jean Luc! Thanks so much for a fabulous read!
