3.5 ⭐️ let me start by saying Savion was out of pocket for putting Azuri in that trunk. I don’t care if he was trying to protect her. Out of pocket.. she was well in her right to slap him for that. I do like that he turned into a little jail bae in the book. Plus he was opening those pockets for my girl. Overall I like this book.. Savion and his tweety… cute
I went into this blind and had the best time, when I said I was laughing and kicking my feet for most of this book. I can't believe this was only 154 pages. All the feels, and a good plot that had me holding my breath a few times.
This urban romance story follows the MMC Savion, he is a boss, heavily feared, who doesn't play around in the streets. Then you have the FMC Azuri, she is working in collections just trying to make ends meet and survive her 9-5. These 2 meets in the club and it was an insta attraction and friendly banter. If you love a MMC who takes one look at the FMC and say yea she is with me now, you will enjoy this one. Savion might have a few screws loose, but he didn't play about his Tweety. I also love a bratty FMC who also says whatever comes to her mind.
I enjoyed so much about this story, the brotherhood between Savion and his brother Jamir. Jamir was a real one and I hope to get a story about him in the future because he deserved that HEA. The way Sav even when he couldn't be there physically, he showed up for the FMC. He was definitely unhinged but still vulnerable and real. I can't wait to read more by the author.
This was such a good time! When I tell you that I swooned, cackled, and got a little choked up, I mean that. This was a somewhat unconventional love story, but it worked. I really loved Savion and Azuri together. That man was absolutely crazy for and about his Tweety.
I am always a fan of an “I don’t usually trick off like this, do these things, or act like this. I don’t know why I’m different with you” MMC, and what I appreciated was that Azuri didn’t shy away from it. She leaned into him and his crazy.
I also really liked the side relationships. Azuri’s friendship with Bianca. Savion’s relationship with Jahmir. The way Jahmir, along with their mother, embraced Azuri right away. It did make me wonder if Azuri had any family, though. We never heard anything about them throughout the book.
This story was well written, kept me fully engaged from beginning to end, and the ending seems like it could be setting us up for a really good enemies-to-lovers/forced proximity story for Jahmir. 👀🤞🏾
This was a good read and definitely packed a punch with it being a novella but I enjoyed it from beginning to end… Sav is definitely crazy asf but he not gone play about his Tweety and I love that for her… But Tweety and that damn gun almost took me out I laughed too hard… This book gave you a lot of things and I can’t wait for Jamir to have his book
My first time reading from Tanon catalog and it was a good ole time. That damn Sav was standing on business with his Tweety. And ZuZu is a fool that girl said booty phone lmaooo. Definitely will be reading more from her
🌶️🌶️🌶️ the MMC, Savion was unhinged and hilarious. Someone as violent and possessive shouldn’t be that likable. The MFC, Azuri was independent and self sufficient. These two had the best banter and instant attraction. The was a very entertaining and surprisingly touching. I would definitely recommen this book.
First book by this author and it was okay. I felt this book lacked depth and it pretty much was is an insta love/ faced paced romance but felt rushed
There wasn’t much buildup/details with some of the events that was happening or even the relationship in my opinion.
I did like that were loyal to each other pretty much from the first encounter. Even in jail Sav was very intentional and wasn’t playing Azuri. These two were pretty much pot meets kettle
First of all, I love how realistic this story is. It starts off with Azuri at work and a lot of us have had a job similar to hers 😭😭😭only to then run into the biggest bully at the club and it’s been all gas no brakes from there! Savion applied much pressure for my girl Tweety (Azuri) and I loved it. This story had me laughing out loud and rubbing my feet together🤣🤣 such a good time!
I know we not even half way through the month but I’m almost certain this book will make my Top 3 for August!
I love Savion and Azuri down! This story had me skinning and grinning, cackling out loud, and I even shedded some tears! We definitely cannot sleep on Jahmir, he was the real MVP in the story; my mans put in work and I loved the way he held Sav down. And Bianca brought in that good energy. I loved it here!
Sav & Jah are reallllllyyyyy THEM!!!!! I love that we get to see their bond. I love that Sav is very much a boss in his world, extremely unhinged, but is fair & loyalty goes a LONGGGGGGG wayyyy!!!!! Loved this read & some of those lines Zuzu was stating are gonna stickkkkkk. Cause she was funny af!!!!! Love her & B reallllll badddddd!!!!!
This was a great read! It had tons of action and comedy mixed together. I caught myself laughing out loud a few times. Savion and Azuri were definitely made for each other. He found someone that can handle his crazy side and she found someone unapologetically loved and cared for her. Well done Tanon Tales
How you go from a one night stand to on lockdown and forever. I had a good time with this read! This was a new-to-me author and this read had a lot of everything; suspense, undeniable chemistry, and nonstop action. I enjoyed how Savion moved off rip about Tweety after only the initial meeting, before things went haywire. Tweety was indeed that lil baby who don’t listen!
Tweety and Sav were a fun time! They’re the opposite of delulu, but still FEEL delulu with their instant connection and the subsequent whirlwind that ensues quickly thereafter.
Listen I’d be just like Azuri I’d be going to the winning team helloooo this was a good fast paced read that covered all the questions you had while reading it. Sav didn’t play when it came to his lady just how I like it
I normally like Tanon’s pen game but I feel like this is the first time I read about an unhinged bully. My type of carrying on. One night stand and he was down bad. We love to see it. Short read. I’m would recommend.
Truthfully, the love felt a bit rushed… you didn’t see their love actually grow. The book was more focused on someone trying to set Sav up than anything.

Sponsored by a Bonafide Bully proves that when a man truly wants you, not even prison walls can stop him from taking care of his woman, making Savion and Azuri an undeniable match made in heaven who balanced heavy drama with fierce protection. Jah completely stole the show and nearly brought readers to tears with his snappy, unforgettable commentary and his emotional outcome at the end of the story, leaving everyone hoping he makes a comeback in the future to finally find his own perfect match.
