Hi! I highly recommend this book. It was a very nice tale about Lily and Jess and Goldie in another magical adventure. Mean Grizelda ruins poor Goldie's birthday and it's up to Lily, Jess, and Amelia to save the day!

This book was quite disappointing. It was a special edition and longer than some of the books we’ve read in this series. However, it recapped stuff in previous chapters as though it was a completely different book in which one would need reminders of previous events. Even my daughter questioned why this was being done. She also found it ridiculous how the girls just “watched in horror” what was happening rather than doing anything. Then they were “too late” to do anything. Of course, when they just stood there watching. My daughter still enjoyed the story, despite the fact that these flaws were annoying to her.
