The triumph of the 21st Brigade of the Australian Army in World War 2 during the battle of Kokoda, New Guinea, written by the author a platoon commander.
It details the strategic withdrawal and eventual defeat of a Japanese invasion force moving to take Port Moresby New Guinea in August to September 1942.
I enjoyed the first hand account by this author and have always enjoyed the material about the second (first being Milne Bay) land defeat suffered by the Japanese in World War 2
