Hooked on This Series
I read the first Matt Foley mystery as part of a Christmas mystery and suspense pack, and immediately read the prequel, then the second and the third...all in one week! Can't wait for the next book. Compelling, well crafted and clean! No profanity, sex, and the violence is essential to the story and not gratuitous. These books are page-turners, that you won't be able to put down. One request: Could we get one story where the beautiful, strong wife, Sara, is NOT the victim in any way? Maybe she helps Matt solve a case without getting shot, blown up, pushed off a bridge or kidnapped? That would be cool.

A murder of a well known, well liked couple, in their home. Was it random or personal, a direct hit with a rifle. Three daughters, was it something in their lives or dislike of what parents were doing in the public world. Matt and Sara come back from honeymoon early, and he is working long hours on the case. With no leads, no suspects, and the rifle isn’t found yet. Giving us a look at family and friends that are also involved in this by just knowing them, Very well written, and one is caught up and can’t believe the injustice that was done, To the end the suspense of how and why will keep the readers.

An exciting mystery/suspense novel. A bit different from others I've read in that the suspect is known fairly early on. The question to be solved is proving his guilt. I enjoyed the various characters involved and seeing how the puzzle pieces were turned over and put together. A subplot that didn't have an obvious connection provided suspense and action in the middle.

Great crime drama with a faith message
Not only do I love the characters and stories in this series but I also love how she weaves in humor. Man I crack up several times. I grew up with boys and just love when they Rob each other.

Action packed from cover to cover. There is never a boring moment in the entire book. I cannot wait to get started on the next one.

Another good one by Tenery. Love that there is a story within a story. There was some good parts but there were also some slow parts.

I know when I start a book by this author to get ready for a story filled with lots of action with some romance included. This one was no exception. I very much enjoyed catching back up with Matt and Sara and the other characters from the prior books in the series. This book can be read as a stand alone, but after you read it you will want to go back and read the prior ones. This author is definitely one of my favorite authors. I was given a copy of this book in return for a honest review, and this is another one from this author I certainly recommend.

Great story!
I really didn't think that I would like this book. Inspirational books have never been on my radar. I'd read one or two and did not like them because they were heavy handed on the inspiration, if you get my drift. Imagine my surprise when I started this book. The plot was tight, the characters were interesting and I actually enjoyed the book and the inspiration was not overwhelming. I am anxiously looking for the next book, because I want to see what happens next in their lives.

Loved it
Another great book by V. B. Tanner! I love this authority's style of writing. Inspirational romantic suspense just can't be beat in my opinion and this book certainly succeeded in all arenas.

V.B Tenery gives another good romantic suspense book.
I enjoyed the non stop action.
Matt and Sara Foley are a good team together along with the members of the Twin Falls police department.
I enjoy the series and this book was no exception.
I eagerly await the next book in the series.

Loved it!
I have always enjoyed Tenery's books, never a moment of hesitation in getting started on any title, I'm absolutely sure that I'll love it. A nice balance of wit, romance, faith and .. Can't wait till the next one!

What a gripping murder mystery. Grabbed me from the beginning and just wouldn't let go. Characters all worked well together and their actions were believable. Very good read and I highly recommend it. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Well written, enjoyable addition to the Matt Foley/Sara Bradford series. I've enjoyed all three and hope this isn't the last one.

Great book. Love the mystery even if I did have it figured out in like the first 3 chapters still a great story and good characters.
