Published in 1986, 'Luftwaffe Handbook 1939-1945' is an updated second edition of a previous edition in 1977. Contained is a wealth of detail on the organisational structure the German Air Force during WW2. This covers not just combat aircraft units, but also airborne assault troops, Flak, training units and Fi 103 units amongst others. A select few biographies are also included, as well as a list of suggested bibliography. This really does clear up many misunderstandings about the subject quite well, although there are some very opinionated conclusions drawn in places. Illuminating.
