***Three part billionaire bbw menage romance serial, cliffhanger warning***
***A gifted copy was provided by the author for my honest review******
This is part two in the ongoing saga between Bree , Owen and Lyle. Bree is unable to enjoy her happiness with the guys due to that jerk Carl- and if you want to know why, read book 1. The guys want her to be happy and want her to be proud of herself and stand tall. Bree fakes it til she makes it or at least that is what she keeps telling herself. Bree is happy to be with her men but she can’t seem to shake those snakes, Whitney and Carl, for they keep showing up everywhere and that keeps bringing back those painful memories in her head and makes her doubt herself and makes her think she can’t keep Owen and Lyle happy and in her bed. Bree is cycling thru doubt and that is making her unhappy yet she is masking it ; putting forward a face of happy for Owen and Lyle. Now these men seem to know A LOT more than they let on to her. –They are willing to do whatever it takes to keep their lady with them. There is so much passion between them. Bree’s bestie Melita- she has been with her thru thick and thin. She is great and I love how she does whatever needs to keep Bree grounded. But in this story, it seems they had a bit of a falling out. Melita meets this man and wants Bree to meet him. Bree has seen him before and something about him she remembers- he had on a wedding ring. When she finally had a chance to tell Melita about him , to warn her- well, things didn’t go over well. Her bestie doesn’t believe her and goes off with this new man. Bree feels again rejected and believes nothing will EVER be the same. To Bree, here she has Whitney and Carl popping up everywhere, in her work place, and now her and Melita on the outs. And this is how the story ends…Next time we pick this up will be with the QUEEN.
I loved the writing. Even though this is a short story, it felt like a lot is packed in –and I mean this in a good way. There was so much going on and I wanted to know more , what are Carl and Whitney’s hidden agenda , because come on, there is one. What is going on with Bree’s bestie and what will happen with Bree, Owen and Lyle- will they last or will the snakes get their way and end a great thing. Stay tuned to book 3
I enjoyed reading Jokers: BBW Billionaire Menage Romance (Billionaire Brothers, II Book 2), all about Owen & Lyle Jack twin brothers who just happen to be billionaires & Brienne Colsen a very smart young women that the Jacks brothers are very interested in. Brienne is in the middle of writing a proposal of her dream job, that she needs to submit to the Jacks brothers. She's struggling, but came up with something she would like to do be a Curator of all the art they own. She proposed this and they said no, dream bigger! The author wrote a very interesting story series, and the characters have brought each story in the series to life. Brienne keeps running into Whitney Avery the girl who stole her boyfriend right out from underneath her. But she doesn't ever want to see her or Carl again, but everywhere she turns they turn up, and it's annoying, she just wants to get on with her life, but Whitney won't let her. Read this series it will make you laugh, cry, sigh, shake your head and cum up a storm. Owen & Lyle want to make Brienne's dreams come true, she's not sure what she should do, but if you read book 3 we can find out together.
You can make a lot of mistakes in a relationship, especially when the relationship is a bad one. Brienne’s mistake was trust. She trusted Carl, that lying cheating piece of garbage. Trust her has really cost her. Want to know what Carl has done. Read the book to find out. I would so love to see Carl and Whitney get what they deserve.
Brienne has two wonderful men. How much do they know about her life? Got a feeling they know more then they let on. Lyle and Owen seem like they really care about Brienne and her well being. It is almost like they are going to have her and they will do what it takes.
I love Melita. She is just this awesome best friend. She stands beside Brienne no matter what is facing her. Melia has her Brienne’s best interest at heart. When Brienne see Melita getting ready to get her will she have the guts to tell her?
I am so looking forward to book 3. I am loving the adventure that Lyle, Owen, and Brienne are going down. Brienne has been thru so much and would love to see her find happiness.
I received an ARC for this book in exchange for a honest review! Book #2 in this series is just as great, if not better, than book #1. I loved how Brienne is growing in confidence. Melina, Owen, Lyle...this book still has its funny moments, but overall, it's sexy! I don't know how I'm going to be able to wait for book #3!
After reading the first part in the "Double Your Pleasure" collection, I picked up this one on Kindle Unlimited. Admittedly, Jacks just left me with a lot of questions and confusion. This one kind of did more of that. Nothing has really been explained and I'm confused as to why these folks are even into each other.
she is so not having fun. looks like she is getting more and more miserable. when she things are looking up then they crash down on her. will she lose her best friend? will she take the space? what does the Whitney want?
Trusted is part two of this serial. It's a good story with a lot going on. Poor Bree can't seem to catch a break. I look forward to finding out what happens next.
The cliffhanger in the book has me excited to read the next installment. The Jack brothers know how to treat Bree and am not ashamed of sharing. The ending has to be great.
