When an incident on werewolf territory leads to a human death, Phoenix flees with the culprit. He thinks he’s on a quest to save a life, but he slowly discovers a part of his past that had been erased forever.
I loved reading this novella. It gave a better insight into Phoenix and his past and explained a little more about the Paragons. I love all the Ava Delaney World books. Highly recommend the whole series.
Interesting reading from Phoenix perspective. I feel bad for him because of everything his crazy mother put him through but he holds so many secrets and instead of trying harder he tends to make things worst! Case in point: the whole Rosa situation! Something he could have avoided but just made so much worse because he gave in, only for a few minutes but that was enough to ruin the small bit of progress he had already made with his son...dumbass!
It's been really good getting to know Pheonix and his past better. I can't believe some of the things that we've learnt!
I have a feeling that so much is going to happen next!
A demon dog guardian, a scientist from his past, and now a possibility of another war! Hopefully all goes well with the werewolves and the "dog". Plus, I have a feeling that we're about to experience more of what the twins can really do!
I loved getting a glimpse of his past but it wasn't enough. I'm hungry for more. I have just as many questions about the gangsters about the paragons about everything that happened years before the twins was born. I need him to see more of his wife in the past their life together what happened when they went there when she was pregnant
Finding About His Hidden Past in Unexpected Places
I gave this book a rating of 5 . I loved how it had it twists and turns. But one thing I loved a lot is that he learned a bit more about his past. I recommend the book to anyone that loves anything dealing with the paranormal.
