Marla was my first. For everything. I’d loved her so hard, I’d come apart at the seams when she left me. I’ve never been the same since. Now, I just wanted to punish her. ~Beau Shepard, ex-hockey player, turned real estate billionaire
Beau was the love of my life. We met at eighteen and thought we would be together always. Then we were ripped apart. It didn’t matter. There is no statute of limitations on love. He was branded on my soul. Forever. ~Marla Matthews, salon owner and kick-ass single mom
Over the last couple of years, writing has become a passion of mine. I pour my heart into each one of my stories, letting my characters go wherever they dare to venture. They often surprise and amuse me. I revel in exploring the human condition through the art of storytelling. Nothing gives me more pleasure than drawing you into a world of emotional connection, compelling characters and hopeful adventure, complete with sizzle and sensuality. My goal is to leave you breathless and panting for more... Write me. I love to hear from readers! I'm always looking to get fresh perspective, inspiration and insight to making my stories the best I can make them. I promise I'll write back. Until then, celebrate and savor the magic of romance, good people!
I was very excited to get this. I love the characters. The emotions are so strong. I can hardly wait for the next one. I am a forever fan of Jessa Eden.
Intense is the best way I can describe this book. The connection between Beau and Marla when they were high school kids. The chemistry they shared. The hate/ love Beau has for Marla currently and the love that Marla still carries for Beau. Even the situation she was put in as a kid raising a kid and the horrible decision she was forced to make. I am so looking g forward to the next book when all the intensity is transformed into a new loving relationship and family bond.
This book was just terrible. There should have been a warning saying that this crap was about 40's year old acting like they still in there early 20s. I can't believe I read it. I won't be reading the next book because I could care less about what happens.
I finish it, second part was best... i did skip a lot on the first part of the story, plot didn't move and i kind of gor bored of the memories... it had good parts that made me to continue reading but the side stories were very poor like the kidnap thing... felt to force into the story that was very predictable.
Forever Branded is a second chance romance and the first book in the Billionaire Love Series by Jessa Eden. I found myself skipping through some of this book due to so many flashbacks. I'm just not a fan of a book that stays so much in the past and not the present. With this being said the parts that was in the present were very good. The characters were well developed and had great chemistry. I am hoping the next book in this series will be more in the present and that the characters will find their happily ever after!!!
I couldn't wait to read Marla's story after meeting her in Micah and Emma's books, I knew her story wouldn't be an easy one to hear but WOW I was blown away by this book! As always Jessa's writing sucks you in right from the start, she can tell a story like no other author! This is a story about young love and how romance began for Marla and Beau, it is beautiful and heartbreaking and I can not wait to read the rest of their story!
