genuinely. best book ive read all year. im so incredibly lucky to know abby personally (loveliest person ever by the way) and even though i was going to read it and preach about whether it was good or not, it properly exceeded my expectations. the writing style is beautiful. the world building is perfect. the inner monologue of the main character is painfully relatable. the plot focuses on current issues and the imagery is unmatched. im not sure what else to say about this book other than I PROMISE you will love it. abby is a name to watch xx

oh. my. gosh.
dare i say i've never been as immersed in a story as in this one. i'm such a slow reader and when i tell you i flew through this book so fast oh my god. after every chapter i finished i always wanted to read one more wanting to know what will happen next. such well written characters, unreal world building, incredible story telling. immediately after i finished i wanted to re-read the whole book again just to notice all the little details i missed the first time around. this entire book brought me so much comfort. genuinely one of my new favourites.
abby you truly are master of a storyteller and i couldn't be more proud of you. i can't wait for what else you have to offer to this world because you bring so much light into the world everyday just by being here and being the amazing human being you are. i am stunned by your insane work on forgotten fragments. seeing your account grow so big and see so many people love your book so much has been such joyous experience for me and just to be able to say i know and am friends with author of such an incredible book feels so unreal to me. i love you so much and thank you for being the bestest friend i ever had. (both elikai and azrael are mine btw.)

ABBY. oh my freaking goodness gracious. you should have seen my face this ENTIRE book. the shock that i had when it all followed up to the end was INSANE. you quite literally had a meaning for EVERYTHING. aberdeen being avaias FATHER is so crazy and jarring. i truly don’t know what to say, so ill do it in sections.
AVAIA:
i saw myself in her, more than i’ve seen myself in any other character. the way she’s so scared to fail and believes that she deserves the pain she endures, really spoke to me especially. while the outside world sees her as emotionless and empty, i see her as a reflection of me. though i don’t endure what she does. mentally and emotionally, she’s just like me. seeing her slowly realize everything, was honestly heartbreaking. i literally was SOBBING when she was about to lose her memories again. seeing her finally loosen up with azrael made me so happy for her. she deserves nothing but happiness, even if she doesn’t let herself have it.
AZRAEL:
while azrael is still a mystery to us, he seems so compassionate and caring. he saw avaia in a way we all dream to be seen. even though she threatened him and stabbed him, he still saw the good in her. and that honestly was my favorite part. i just know once i learn more about him and his past, it’ll be just as heartbreaking as avaia’s. so while he still remains mysterious, i see him in a way.
THE SETTING:
oh my gosh. the setting was also one of my favorite parts. i love the idea of it snowing all the time. it’s so different from what i have seen in dystopian books before. my first thought for the resistance was that they were having a shield over them. and i guess they truthfully were. but in a way that made it so much more shocking. i just love this book.
THE ENDING:
the ending?? OH MY. that was the best possible ending i could have ever seen. hearing about the powers all the subjects have, was pretty mind boggling. i KNEW azrael was the raven i could just feel it. but oh my gosh. i also love the powers that verena has. THAT IS SO INSANE. also i can’t wait to learn more about elikai and astra and well, verena. so i need book two asap and i don’t think ill be able to sleep tonight.
overall abby your writing is so insane and so beautiful. i hope you know that this is now my favorite book and i’m going to go buy a physical copy now and reread it. I LOVE YOU AND THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO READ YOUR AMAZING AND BEAUTIFUL BOOK.

guys. this book. literally no notes. i need the next one as soon as possible. i want to know more about the resistance, more of avaia and azrael’s relationship, more of abby’s writing.
i felt avaia on so many levels. she keeps thinking there’s something wrong with her because she doesn’t have an answer to what she’s feeling, what going on in her head, why she’s feeling how she’s feeling in her body, and i’m experiencing a very similar thing.
azrael is too mysterious still to know much about him, but im really excited to see more of his character growth in the next book.
if you really like shatter me, especially the feeling and vibes of the first few forgotten fragments is DEFINITELY for you. if you like divergent and the mind control from the first book, and the resistance in the other two, you’ll definitely like this with the memory wiping.
i can’t wait for the next book, and can’t wait for my reread!!!

I had the privilege of being able to read this book as an early reader and I could not be any prouder of Abby. I am in awe with everything she has accomplished and being able to be a part of her debut novel is so exciting and heartwarming.
This book is full of so much intelligence and creativity that adds so much to why I love dystopian books. I LOVE how the FMC is the morally gray one and I just love how Abby wrote their names to have meaning. Everything in this book has a meaning and I find that to be so smart and creative!!
If you love Shatter Me and The Naturals, you will LOVE Forgotten Fragments!!

ABSOLUTE PERFECTION.
this book will gave me the feeling of shatter me that i’ve been CRAVING since i finished the series. this book got me out of a slump and UGH it is just wonderful.
i have become so invested in the world is kalopsia and its characters. i don’t think ill ever look at an apple without thinking of Avaia and Elikai or looking at a raven and not thinking of Azrael.
these characters are so well created and the world building is immaculate. everything about this book is amazing and i cannot explain how proud i am of abby and how grateful i am to know her.

this book was genuinely SO amazing and well written for a debut novel ESPECIALLY considering Abby is only 16!!! Like hello, miss girl is KILLING IT!! I loved this book so much, and I’m so excited for the next one!!💗💗
