Three identical brothers known as the ‘power of three’ are on a quest to find their mates after being sent back in time to the year 1210 when their Highlander shifter clan first began. Nothing will deter them, not when they must save their future line from extinction.
Cherub, the faerie king’s daughter is one of the few who holds the ability to open a portal and travel through time. As a time-walker, she’s responsible for ensuring those of her fae-blooded kind living on Earth find their soul bound match, no matter what time they might live in. The last thing she expects though is for her shifter mate to travel into the past and begin closing in on her. Her destiny is set, to aid others in finding their chosen ones, not in becoming the very one she hunts.
Highland warrior shifter Kirk Matheson won’t rest until he finds the one woman who is meant to be his. Only when he discovers his mate has no wish to give up her duty in aiding her kind, does he decide the hunter must now become the hunted.
Determined in his mission to capture his elusive imp, he must find a way for them to be together…to bind the mischievous Fae Angel of Love to his side and ensure she accepts her greatest destiny, that of being his one and all.

The final story in the Matheson Brothers Trilogy ends with Kirk's story. The youngest of his brothers it is now his time to find the one who is meant for him. Her name is Cherub and she has many abilities which include helping others find their soul bound mate. As she meets Kirk, she finds he is determined to capture her. A great ending for the three brothers that will keep your attention just as the other two.
The continuing adventures of the Matheson Brothers: Iain, Findley and Kirk. In book one: Highlander's Desire, Iain found his mind controlling mate Isla. In book two: Highlander's Passion, Findley found his fire wielding mate Arabel. In book three: Highlander's Seduction, Kirk finds his time traveling mate bonding mate Cherub. This is Kirk's story. Kirk had been looking for his mate for five years in the current year. He discovers his mate is in the past in the year 1210. As you know all three brother and Isla time traveled back to the year 1210. They went to help their clansmen fight an important battle and save hundreds of fae lives. Kirk has been feeling the mating bond stronger than before and on the night of the full moon he went to seek for her. Cherub realized that Kirk was her mated match. However, her duty to her people is to make sure mated pairs met whether they be in the future or in the past. It was her job to bring them together. To this end she would never give up on her people and relinquish her duty as the Fae Angel of Love. For over a thousand years she has done her duty and she felt that if she mated that she would have to give it up. Nessa, the seer, advised Cherub to talk to Kirk and give him a chance to talk to her. Cherub did not want to hurt Kirk by rejecting him in person. So, when they met she was in mist form. Kirk could not see her. They spent the entire night together and then in the morning Cherub left his side. Cherub was having second thoughts about being mated to Kirk. Kirk had plead his case to her that she would not have to give up her duty but that he would join her and assist any way he could. Still Cherub had doubts until Nessa spoke with her again and told her the benefits of Kirk being by her side. The rest of the story covers the chase of Kirk after Cherub trying to convince her to be his and only his. There are adventures where Cherub realizes, on more than one occasion, that Kirk indeed would be a benefit by her side and not a detriment. That her days of loneliness would be over and her heart and life would be filled with the deepest of love. I cannot wait for book four: Highlander's Kiss. Book four will continue following the three couples in their pursuit of helping their clansmen of the past in order to aid their clansmen of the future. I found this book discounted via BookBub; this is my honest review -I like the facts that Nessa and Murdoch reach each other through alternate realities; there's no other way to explain it. -There isn't much of a story going on behind, just Cherub and Kirk. -It must have been incredible for the two families, getting together in the past (there would have been less people travelling back home though) for the weddings. -A bit unbelievable. Cherub is the fae of love and she wants to stop Kirk from looking for her. She also wanted to let him down so he could go on with his life. What??? You should know, as the fae of love, that this is an impossible task. If he did, he would die, and so probably would you. -Arena comes back again. No explanation. -Cherub takes all her decisions based on what her BFF did. Not what's right or how it really works or personal decisions. Amelia decided to be a mom at home. You could decide to be a career mom. What's to stop you? You don't even believe your FT's words when Kirk says he will help you do your job. No one is irreplaceable. The cemeteries are full of irreplaceable people. -She's so irreplaceable that she leaves Kirk right in the middle of ... Yeah. No. I don't think so. 44% and I'm ready to put my book down. -Kirk believes in finding solutions; Cherub does not. Plain and simple. -Confused: Cherub lets Kirk kiss her while she's a mist. Can anyone see his tongue while he's doing that? Well at 20% she's still invisible and it's getting old. -Too many repeats from other books, such as how Nessa washes and untangles hair, or Daniel sitting on the couch, etc. -Again we get BR scenes from Iain and Isla and Finlay and Arabel - not their story, not their place. -Sometimes I'm wondering if English is the author's first language. We get stuff like "but so happy I am that you are" or like "as I now know he too will". -“You’re headed to the MacKenzie’s lair?” “Nay, I am already here.” She sent a surge of warmth and love down their link". So Cherub disobeys, gets trapped dangerously, sends her love to Kirk, like she's leaving for work or something. That's it! Everything about their relationship is either annoying, disrespect, or completely unbelievable.
Highlander’s Seduction is the third book in the Matheson Brothers series and while it’s a stand alone romance, it would be best to read the previous books first to fully understand it all. Kirk, the third in the Power of Three, has traveled back in time to find his mate. Feeling her call, he finds Cherub, the Fae Angel of Love, and while she feels their strong connection and allows one night of being together, she refuses to complete the bond. Kirk is determined, though, and vows to show her how good it can be between them. With a terrible plot with their enemy, can Kirk keep Cherub safe, while she protects all of her kin surrounding them?
This book is full of so much emotion, such as longing, the need to protect, love, and even a bit of revenge, and all of it tugged at my heart. I have really enjoyed all three of these powerful brothers and their strong mates, but this book was really sweet because the lady who helps others find their matches finally meets her own. They have a journey of fighting for their mating and I love that while their connection was easy, her mind had to fully wrap around and catch up with her heart. They were both so protective of each other, both strong and independent and needed to prove to the other that they were better together rather than fighting alone. I loved their connection, I loved how things are nicely set up for future books and I can’t wait to read more about the Matheson clan!
This book is the last of the triplets. Kirk finds his mate back in 1290. His mate is a time-traveling fae of love. Cherub (love her name!) is the last of her kind. She is the first-born in the royalty. Her skin sparkles so she chooses to cloak herself as invisible. She can take shape as mist as well. She needs a door or window open at all times so she can leave at will.
To form the mate bond with Cherub, Kirk will become immortal as well as she. That brought a little sadness to me knowing that he would outlive his other two brothers and the power of three triplets would be no more when they eventually perish. Yes, I'm tender-hearted that way as I can't imagine living eternally without my siblings!
This book is written in a multiple POV. The brothers get a small section in this book.
While the author does a great job in laying the foundation of the first two books in the beginning, I really would suggest reading these in order for the best experience.
This is a sexy book in place so a word of warning but unlike the first book which had a LOT of sexy times, this one really had a great story with it.
I like that Joanne Wadsworth does her research on the time and influences that she uses in her stories but this one is meh to me. I also think she likes to use Blonds in her stories more then any other hair color. Is this bad? No, but I feel that this is more a personal fantasy that she gives the world from her mind and heart. I also feel that this makes her story cookie cutter like and we are just changing the name, story line and location.
For this one there is a time traveler that is to help other shapeshifters/fae find their soulmates...
I can see promise in this but I feel there was so many plot holes that I found with this it made it harder for me to like and found myself just drifting away from the story.
At times I forgot why the brothers came to this this time in the past.
This steamy, entertaining and romantic. Kirk is strong, determined, protective and loyal. Cherub is stubborn, caring and intriguing. Kirk has been looking for his mate for 5 years, Cherub just found out that it's her. But she is responsible for helping her people find their mates, so she tells Kirk that they can not be together. Kirk intends to prove to her that together they will be stronger, that he can help, not hinder, her work. Meanwhile the MacKenzie is up to something sinister, and it will take the power of the 3 and Cherub to win this battle. I love how the characters are all so happy and carefree when together.

This is the third story in the series and although it stands alone you’ll get a lot more from the story if you read the books in order. Kirk is the youngest of the three brother and finally it’s his turn to claim his mate. But Cherub is more than just his mate. She’s responsible for the happiness of all fae by bringing them to their fated match even if it must happen across time. She is one of the few timewalkers and without her help, the clan won’t be able to find be their mates. So even though Kirk is willing to do everything for her, she doesn’t think her calling allows room for a mate. Loved the characters and story and the overall story continues to develop. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).
Can the Fae Angel of Love be tamed by a mate? The answer is no, in fact, when the Fae Princess finds herself mated to a Highlander Bear Shifter from the future she rejects him. The chase is on!
This was a well written novel and a page-turner. Ms Wadsworth has done her homework on historical dialects and clans. She has a vivid imagination and fills her books with adventure, action and lots of steam. They are also full of heart.
After reading this, Book 3 of The Matheson Brothers series, I find myself wanting to read Books 1and 2 as, even though they can be read as standalone novels, familiar characters show up from previous and future stories.
These novels are not meant for those under 18.

I have been provided with a review copy of Highlander’s Seduction by the author for an impartial review. This is the third and final book in The Matheson Brothers trilogy and it picks up shortly after we left off in Highlander’s Passion. This book we get to finally see the last brother Kirk Matheson find the one that is meant just for him. It was really interesting to see how Kirk and Cherub find each other and how they work together through situations. I really enjoyed this series and getting to know each brother with their chosen one and I hate that it is over but I can’t wait to see them again in future series and the impact they have on people’s lives.
This is Kirk and Cherub's story and it was so good. I love that she was meant to put souls together. She was afraid being mated with Kirk would stop her from doing her job but you cannot stop fate or mates! Joanne writes steamy scenes but also gives you a little drama and great visuals of the time. I love when the "bear" wants his mate as much as the man does. My favorite part of this book was the surprise that Cherub helped Isla and Arabel with....awww!!! Keep giving me time travel, shifters and mates and I'll be a fan forever.

Review of Highlander's Seduction(The Matheson Brothers Book 3)
This book kept me riveted.I read it in one sitting. This is Kirk's story. He is the youngest of the "" power of three "but the book can be read as a stand-alone . Will he succeed in finding and keeping his chosen mate? This book is well written with more steamy sex, alpha males and a strong independent heroine. If you enjoy steamy historical romance, suspense, adventure and the paranormal, this book is for you.
Highly entertaining, sexy fun and engaging romantic adventure filled with magic, family, secrets and passion..... could not get enough of these brothers and their quest for mates.
This journey belongs to the youngest of the Matheson brothers and is just as exciting as the previous two... Kirk Matheson is sexy, charming and determined to claim is destined mate Cherub. This was a story that had me hooked from the beginning and was hard to put down at the end.
Kirk as the last brother in search of his mate- it only seems fair that this woman too would have unique abilities. Cherub holds a very interesting position with particular responsibilities. I enjoyed how details of this story were interwoven in the history and prophesy presented in the first two novels plus expanded on here. Magic of the Fae, time travel and struggles for power between clans as well as a special event at the end made this a great read!
Highlander's Seduction by Joanne Wadsworth. This is full of adventures and finding one true mate. It has a got plot and I like the characters. It is a good read but has steamy places. My free opinion. Thanks.

The third book in The Matheson Brothers series which is a well-written series and I know I want to read the next book. This is Cherub, the faerie king’s daughter and Highland warrior shifter Kirk Matheson's story. A book I was not putting down I wanted to know what was going to happen. Cherub is the fairy equivalent of the goddess of love as it is her duty to find everyone's soulmate no matter what time they live in and she is a time Walker. Kirk has to proof to cherub that he is her soulmate and she deserves love too. Awesome book.

This is full of adventures and about finding the one true mate. It has a nice plot and I like the characters who are well described. It is a good read with steamy scenes and lots of passion. I would have liked that the repeating from the triplets was left to not that frequent as it is now. Enjoyable and easy to read.
This is a stunning tale. I was turning pages as fast as I could because I wanted to know what happened. At the same time, i kept slowing down because i wanted to savor such a good book. Oh the conundrum. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book in exchange for a free copy.
A thoroughly enjoyable and heart touching end to this series. I am headed straight over to the spin-off series "Clan Matheson" to read more about the 'power of three'.
Highlander's Seduction is the third book in this series, and like the first two; I loved this book. Kirk and Cherub's story had all the right amount of twists and turns that had me not wanting to put the book down.
Kirk, the third brother if the powerful triad in "the power of three" sits aching impatiently for the full moon to rise and to seek out his one true mate. The other half of his soul. Cherub; her duties bound to her people; an immortal who has for over 1000 years led others of their clan to their destined mates; finds herself being pursued by Kirk. One night together and she finds herself unwilling to part from him. Together they will find a way to not only be together, but complete "The power of three."
I love were/shifter books. I especially love when the shifters are bears. I loved this story. I found myself at one point crying, even laughing. Cherub's determination to protect her people as well as the man she loves had my heart pounding to where as the reader, I felt her determination. This was a beautifully written story. I can't wait to read what is in store for the Matheson clan. The enemy is still out there wanting to destroy them, and there are still many clansman who are needing and seeking their soul mates.
What I especially loved about these books and I found that this was the case in each one....None of the couples simply just "jumped into bed" with each other. Yes there was touching and kissing and some heavy petting. But there was also the need and desire to get to know the other. I thought that the characters were well developed, but as the couples came together; the union seemed to compliment and even make each character's personalities stronger.
I was provided this book by the author for an honest review. This is not my preferred genre of book. It is the only book in the series that I have read.
"Cherub, the faerie king’s daughter is one of the few who holds the ability to open a portal and travel through time. Highland warrior shifter Kirk Matheson won’t rest until he finds the one woman who is meant to be his. Only when he discovers his mate has no wish to give up her duty in aiding her kind, does he decide the hunter must now become the hunted." ~ Wadsworth, Joanne. Highlander's Seduction (Kindle Locations 7-13).
Although this is not my favored genre, I enjoyed the story. Cherub tries to deny her soul bound match but after spending one evening with Kirk, she cannot deny their bond. Kirk vows to help Cherub in fulfilling her duties as a time-walker. Together, they help protect their families from outside enemies.
I would definitely recommend this story to anyone who prefers this genre or is looking to get into the genre. Joanne's writing is great. The flow of the story was good and even without reading the other books in the series or knowing much about this genre, I was able to immerse myself in the story and enjoy it.
Highlander's Seduction picked right up where Highlander's Passion left off! It was full of action, love, adventure and some steamy scenes. Kirk is the last of the Power of Three to find their mate, his search has left him empty handed for years, he hopes this time he can find her. Cherub is Fae Princess and a time-walker. She has the ability to help bring those who are soul bound, together. She has been aiding her Fae kin for over a thousand years and has no desire to stop any time soon. She finds out that she is destined to become soul bound to another and she decides that her people must come first, she cannot allow herself to abandon her duties to her people. The connection between these two is amazing! You can actually see the sparks fly and feel their chemistry. The obstacles they must overcome and their adventure will capture your attention and you will not be able to put this book down. I've absolutely loved this series and all of the characters that have been introduced. I hope we see more from the Power of Three and their mates, as well as the people of the Fae village and Gilleoin's clan. Thank you for another amazing adventure Joanne.
Kirk is anxious to find his mate as is his bear. He is a Highlander and a shifter who has traveled through time to find his destiny. He wants to feel the connection and love with his chosen one. Cherub is the daughter of the faerie King and is a time walker who helps the fae find their soul bound loves. She's willing to sacrifice her happiness for her people. Can Kirk make her change her mind? He is an amazing hero. I fell in love with his kindness and gentleness. He will protect Cherub and be her partner in her work. She is spirited and passionate. She will always be his rock. The chemistry between them is intense. They belong together. Their story is action packed from start to finish. I could stop reading. Joanne Wadsworth does a wonderful job writing characters that are likeable and intriguing. The setting is as rugged as the Highlanders who live there. This series (The Matheson Brothers) is one of my favorites. I enjoy the action, adventure and romance plus the paranormal element that is intertwined makes for a very satisfying story. I'm so glad that there will be a spin-off.
What a great story, so well written. I love the idea that even if your soul mate is born in a different time period there is still the chance to find each other and be together, with the help of a time-walker. I think that anyone who enjoys a good highland story will enjoy this book and even though its the third book in the story you don't loose anything by not reading the first two beforehand. Alrhough I think you get more out of a story reading them in the proper order when at all possible. I look forward to going back and reading the other two stories myself, when I get the chance. This story takes your heartstrings and tugs ever so gently at them as you fall in love with all the characters in this story. I feel there is great enjoyment to be had by everyone who reads this story and I dor one am looking forward to checking out the other stories not only in this series and its spin-off, but her other work as well. Here's hoping you enjoy this story as much as I did. I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
I really enjoyed this final installment in the Matheson Brothers trilogy. Kirk might be my favorite brother to date. He's found and determined to make Cherub his and will stop at nothing to ensure she accepts him. Her gift is time walking and helping couples to find their mates, a task she's been doing for over an millennium. As the last of her kind she takes her job seriously, but struggles greatly with her attraction to Kirk. It's pure magic when she does give in to her desires. From start to finish, this novel held me in its spell. As always, Wadsworth's attention to detail stuns and delights as she wove a story I got lost in. Once again, very well done.
Highlander's Seduction by Joanne Wadsworth is the third book in The Matheson Brothers Series. Highlander's Seduction is well written with fantastic characters, you just have to love a heroine with a name like Cherub. Kirk and Cherub's story is a fast paced, fairly quick read. This book has a bit of everything, action, drama, time travel, paranormal, humor and sizzle. While Highlander's Seduction is the third book of the series, it can be read as a stand alone, but I recommend reading books one and two first.
I received a copy of this book for review purposes.
