★★★★

First of all, I want to thank P.L. Rivers for giving me the opportunity to read this ARC. This was my first time reading anything by this author, and honestly, I’m so glad I got the chance to discover her because I genuinely enjoyed this story so much.

I Long for You, Olivia follows Olivia, a photographer, and Connor, a drummer, and their friends-to-lovers romance. And I have to say… these two completely stole my heart. There’s just something about friends-to-lovers that gets me every single time, and Olivia and Connor were no exception.

I absolutely loved their dynamic. The tension, the banter, the chemistry, and especially the way their relationship developed throughout the story kept me completely invested. Their connection felt so natural, and I loved getting to see how their friendship slowly turned into something more.

I also really loved Olivia as a character. Her anxiety and the way the author portrayed it felt incredibly real and made it so easy to connect with her. There were moments where I could really understand what she was feeling, and I think that added so much depth to her character and to the story as a whole.

Another thing I really appreciated was how much care seemed to go into the characters and their relationships. Everything felt intentional, and you could tell there was so much thought behind their journey. It made the story feel incredibly personal and special.

And Connor… I really loved him. The way he was there for Olivia and the way their relationship developed made me completely fall for them as a couple. Their chemistry was definitely one of my favorite parts of the book.

Overall, I really enjoyed I Long for You, Olivia. It was such a sweet and emotional friends-to-lovers romance, and I loved getting to know these characters and their story. This was my first book by P.L. Rivers, but it definitely won’t be my last. I’ll absolutely be picking up more of her books in the future! 🤍

Thank you, Paige Rivers, for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

After loving What About Wendy?, I couldn’t wait to dive back into the Route 19 series with Olivia and Connor, and this book exceeded every expectation!

These two have easily become one of my favorite romance couples. Their dynamic is everything friends-to-lovers should be—effortless banter, genuine history, and tension you can feel on every page. You can tell just how much care went into their relationship; nothing about it felt rushed.

What truly made this special for me, though, was Olivia. The portrayal of her anxiety felt so raw and honest. It’s rare to read a character whose struggles mirror your own so closely, and watching her find her footing made me feel completely seen.

A vulnerable, heartfelt romance that makes me love Route 19 even more. Highly recommended!
