A dark college romance with fake dating, oh I knew I was gonna love this one👏🏼

As the daughter of a senator Lorelei knew her marriage was going to be beneficial for her father and in this case she is engaged to a man who will help their family from bankruptcy. But what she didn’t account for was her betrothed is not a man I would want any woman to marry. Determined to get out of this arrangement Lorelei comes up the idea of a fake dating plan and who is the lucky guy might you ask? Well it’s none other than Axel and the reason that she believed Axel to be perfect for the job was that he was pining for a woman who was not willing to commit so this fake dating ploy would make her jealous.

Now despite this these two certainly didn’t have any ground rules as they wanted to make the relationship look as real and as convincing as possible but what they didn’t account for was feelings to come into play. The feelings that Axel developed for Lorelei made him realise that what he actually felt for Cordelia wasn’t actually real and was lust, simple enough Cordelia led Axel on and that frustrated me because he deserved a woman who put him first and he found that with Lorelei.

Lorelei’s ex-fiance was certainly relentless and was not going to let her go without a challenge but this is where we see Axel’s possessive side come out to play. He was willing and he certainly did everything possible to ensure that Lorelei would remain his and only his.

Overall I loved this book. I loved the slowish burn that brewed between these two characters and also the realisation of feelings. This book also had a few twists and turns that kept me engaged throughout.

I cannot wait for our next couple in the series. Thank you to Grey’s Promotions who provided this e-arc for my honest thoughts 💭

This book was a well written, emotional masterpiece. I love a good fake dating piece but this was next level. Axel is a golden boy while Lorelai is a certified mean queen bee, but there’s more to her than meets the eye. Like what do you mean Axel was head over heels for his friend with benefits and wants to make her jealous, and in the meantime can also protect Lorelai. Axel Vanderheart was the sweetest boy ever, and was definitely not what I was expecting out of this dark romance series. Like a man who’s ready to commit and says “I love you” first has my heart every time. I do wish we got to see a little more of his past though, because it mentioned him being bullied and that intrigued me. The way he was so ready to protect Lorelai from the old bastard her father sold her off to no matter what the cost to him was, had me crying at how beautiful he is. Lorelai is such a strong and powerful fmc, she stood her ground against the old bastard every time but also was extremely strong in allowing herself to be vulnerable with Axel. They’re really just too broken kids who want love, and are scared and tired of not being chosen. When they finally chose each other and stood with each other through all that happens in the end, I was tearing up because of how beautiful they were. I can’t wait to see them be disgustingly cute in the next few books, I give this a 5/5

One of the best things an author can do is make you absolutely hate and despise a character in one book and then turn around and make you love her in the next.
Lorelei was the jealous, mean girl bully in book 1, but in her and Axel’s story we get to see a much deeper side of her. She shows the world one thing to protect herself, but underneath she’s a lot more caring and loyal than meets the eye.
Going in I wasn’t crazy about her being the mfc in this book, but I’m actually so glad she was. Her and Axel had such great chemistry. I couldn’t get enough of them. Axel was so protective of her. I loved how he stood up for her and didn’t allow anyone to bad mouth her. And the way his family were so welcoming was just the best. She so needed that. Their relationship may have started out fake, but there’s no denying he was totally smitten for her by the end. The man was totally in love. And that ending was fabulous! I loved it and was kinda smiling that Cordi was there to see it. I wasn’t her biggest fan, but I’m excited for her book.
I don’t want to say much more and give spoilers away, but I have to say as much as I loved book 1, I loved Axel and Lorelei a lot more! Watching these two go from fake to realizing they had actual feelings for each other was the sweetest.

This is the second book in this impressive series, and this is Axel and Lorelei’s story.
Axel is kind, patient, protective, and fiercely loyal, and he is the golden boy, and star quarterback, while Lorelei is resilient. When Lorelei’s father tries to sell her to horrible man, she needs help, and strikes a deal with Axel which is mutually beneficial to them both, he wants to make his ex-girlfriend jealous, and Lorelei will get the escape she craves.
This is a well written easy to read, slow burn story, with family dynamics, friendships, emotions, tension, dangerous secrets, secret society, acceptance, touch her and die vibes, suspense, intrigue, acceptance, morally gray, mystery, healing, humour, witty banter, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, tragic, twisted, and unpredictable, dark college romance.
I look forward to reading more from these talented author’s whose work I highly recommend.

Axel and Lor were everything in this. A fake dating scenario turns into something more. And the wrong people are starting to notice. Does Axel walk away and leave Lor to figure it out? Does he burn the world down to protect her? Omg, this was so hot, so intense. I was pulled in so fast, I couldn’t put this down until I was finished. She wasn’t the person she portrayed herself to be. And Axel was an absolute sweetheart. I devoured this one and I need more now. Such an amazing story.

✨ARC REVIEW: Wicked Lord

Wicked Lord
By: Sienna Cross and Ember St. Vincent
Book 2 in The Lords of Stonewall University Series

5⭐️ 4🌶️

❥college romance
❥dark romance
❥secret society
❥forced proximity
❥fake dating
❥he falls first

Sienna Cross and Ember St. Vincent have done it AGAIN with Wicked Lord! I devoured this book like it was my job. I could not put it down from the very first page to the very last, I did not want to come up for air. Wicked Lord is book 2 in the Lords of Stonewall University and we met both Axel and Lorelei in book 1 Heartless Lord and let me tell you Lorelei was a character you wanted to hate in book 1, she was down right the worst BUT let me tell you how much I LOVED, I mean LOVED her in this book. Axel was my favorite when I read book 1 and I was so excited that this book was his story. I was a little hesitant that Lorelei was the FMC in this book but she was amazing! Lorelei surprised me the most, she was downright a horrible person in the first book and you don’t really get a look into why she is the way that she is until Wicked Lord. You don’t really peel back these outer hard layers until book 2 and your heart absolutely breaks for her. The things she carries when she thinks no one is looking, the struggles she has behind closed doors, it broke my heart. I wanted to go through the book and give her a hug and never let go. She carries so much on her shoulders that all she needed was for someone to see her, to tell her that she is not alone. She deserves to be protected and cared for because underneath all of that thick layers of tough is a girl who is screaming to be held and loved just as much as anyone else. Axel, my sweet Axel…..I fell in love with him in book 1 and I fell even more in love with him in book 2. This man, this beautiful human being of a person is pure GOLD. He stole the show in all the best ways. Everyone sees him as the charming football player who can melt your heart with a single smile! He has the perfect life - what no one sees is that he is carrying his own scars that haunt him every night. His life is not as perfect as everyone sees on the outside, much like Lorelei.

What started out as fake dating turned into one hell of story of two imperfect souls finding each other. I have never loved a fake dating trope until Wicked Lord, it was done so well. Neither Lorelei or Axel forced the feelings they had, there was a mutal attraction there for them both which made the fake dating that much better. The banter between the both of them, the fun nicknames that they both kept trying to come up with for one another, every little stolen glance, those small moments of jealousy that neither one of them acknowledged built into this explosive chemistry once their walls came down. The way Axel was there for Lorelei and the way she was there for Axel was pure perfection. The way he loved her so fiercely melted my heart with every page. The way Lorelei found her strength, the way that they both healed each other, it really was pure perfection. I said it earlier and I will say it again but I fell so in LOVE with Lorelei, she had the best character development since book 1. It was really amazing to see this other side to her and to see this journey for her. The twists and turns in this book had me on the edge of my seat, I could not get enough. This was one emotional roller coaster ride that I did not want to get off of. Wicked Lord NEEDS to be at the top of your TBR because I promise you will not be disappointed. Before you dive into Wicked Lord, you need to dive head first into book 1 Heartless Lord, you’ll thank me later!

Wicked Lord really said, “They began by pretending to choose each other, only to become the first people who ever truly did.”

After failing to secure the relationship she thought could save her, Lorelei is being pushed toward a controlling man she wants nothing to do with. Her solution is a fake relationship with Axel, who agrees because she convinces him that seeing them together will make the woman he really wants jealous. It is an arrangement built entirely on appearances, but the more time they spend together, the harder it becomes to tell which parts they are still pretending.

I went into this book fully prepared to dislike Lorelei. She was an ice queen in Heartless Lord, but learning about her upbringing completely changed the way I saw her. Raised by parents who offered expectations instead of affection, Lorelei learned to hide behind a cold, carefully maintained mask. Underneath it, she is sweet, loyal and desperate to experience the kind of love she has never received. Her softer side felt completely believable because she didn’t suddenly become a different person. Axel simply treated her with enough respect, care and tenderness that she finally felt safe showing him the woman no one else had taken the time to see.

Axel was completely swoon-worthy. He begins the story convinced he is in love with someone else, but spending time with Lorelei makes him question whether those feelings were ever as deep as he believed. For the first time, he experiences what it feels like to have his attraction reciprocated and to be wanted in return. Even before he understands what Lorelei has come to mean to him, his instinct is to protect her. He publicly stands beside her, defends her and repeatedly proves that she will not have to face everything alone.

But Axel is not presented as a man who has always made the right choices. A second storyline involving a death from his past and the secret society that helped conceal it runs alongside the fake-dating romance. Axel carries genuine responsibility and guilt for what happened, and that buried secret gradually becomes intertwined with the danger surrounding Lorelei. Both characters have been shaped by environments that brought out the worst in them, and I appreciated that the story explored their flaws without simply excusing them.

The external conflict gave Wicked Lord a compelling plot that did not rely solely on the romance. Every time Axel and Lorelei appear to be free from the threat hanging over them, it returns in another form.

I expected slightly more spice after Heartless Lord, but the lower level worked for this story. The focus remained on relationship optics, emotional intimacy and the gradual shift from using each other to genuinely choosing each other. Axel and Lorelei’s chemistry was believable from the beginning, but watching their fake relationship become the first place either of them felt truly desired and loved made it even better.

Wicked Lord gave me a convincing redemption for a heroine I never expected to love, a protective gentleman of an MMC and a suspenseful secondary plot that meaningfully strengthened the romance. Apparently, this series plans to introduce women I dislike and then dedicate the next book to changing my mind about them. Lorelei has proven it can work, but Cordi certainly has her work cut out for her.

Tropes:
✨ Fake dating
✨ He wants someone else
✨ Ice queen FMC
✨ Protective MMC
✨ Secret society
✨ Dark college romance
✨ Romantic suspense
✨ Touch her and die
✨ Mutual redemption

Thank you to Grey’s Promotions and Sienna Cross for providing me with an ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

🖤 When Fake Dating Becomes the Safest Place to Fall 🖤
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️

A dark college romance with fake dating, a secret society, dangerous secrets, and a golden-boy quarterback hiding his own darkness? I knew Wicked Lord was going to be my kind of book, but Axel and Lorelei completely surprised me with just how emotional their story became.

If you've read Heartless Lord, you already know Lorelei isn't exactly introduced as someone you're supposed to love. She's the mean girl, the queen bee, and someone who knows exactly how to use her sharp edges. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about her getting her own story, but WOW did she prove me wrong. Getting underneath all those carefully constructed layers completely changed the way I saw her. Beneath the attitude is a strong, resilient young woman carrying far more than anyone realizes and desperately wanting something she has rarely been given: the freedom to choose her own life.

When her family attempts to marry her off to a truly horrible man, Lorelei needs a way out. Enter Axel Vanderhart. He's Stonewall's golden boy, star quarterback, and seemingly one of the sweetest Lords. Axel also happens to be hung up on Cordelia, so Lorelei proposes the perfect solution. He helps her escape her unwanted engagement, she helps make Cordelia jealous, and they pretend to be completely in love.

What could possibly go wrong? 😏

I LOVED watching their fake relationship slowly become the one place where neither of them had to pretend. The chemistry and attraction were already there, so their developing feelings never felt forced. The teasing, nicknames, banter, jealousy, and stolen moments gradually turned into something so much deeper. Axel begins realizing that what he thought he wanted before doesn't compare to what he's finding with Lorelei, and watching that realization happen was so satisfying.

And Axel... this man! 🥹 Everyone sees the charming quarterback with the easy smile, but there's so much more underneath. He's kind, patient, loyal, protective, and surprisingly vulnerable. The way he refuses to let people tear Lorelei down and becomes determined to protect her absolutely melted me. He doesn't just see the queen bee everyone else sees. He sees the woman underneath all that armor and gives her something she desperately needs: someone firmly in her corner.

Lorelei's growth might have been my favorite part. She's strong enough to stand her ground, but she's also learning that vulnerability doesn't make her weak. Watching her experience Axel's family welcoming her and begin realizing she deserves to be cared for was incredibly emotional.

At their core, Axel and Lorelei felt like two people carrying their own scars who were both tired of never truly being chosen. Watching them finally choose each other was what made this romance so special for me.

Of course, this is still Stonewall University, so their romance unfolds alongside secrets, danger, the Serpents & Daggers, and twists that kept me completely invested. I don't want to give those away because discovering everything is part of the experience, but the ending was SO satisfying.

I loved Heartless Lord, but Axel and Lorelei may have just become my favorite couple in this world. Fake dating brought them together, but everything that happened once those feelings became real made me love them. I cannot wait to see which Lord falls next!

Thank you Sienna Cross, Ember St. Vincent, and Grey's Promotions for the gifted advanced copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Wicked Lord is the second book in the Stonewall University series by Sienna Cross and Ember St Vincent. I devoured the first book, and admittedly, I was hesitant going into this one because of the FMC and how she was portrayed in book one. If you've read it, you'll know exactly what I mean. That said, I always try to keep an open mind, and I was excited to continue the series.

This story centres on Axel and Lorelei, which came as a bit of a surprise considering everything that transpired in the previous book. Despite my reservations about Lorelei, I was curious to see where the authors would take her story. Lorelei finds herself being pushed into an arranged marriage she desperately doesn't want, so she comes up with a plan that could benefit both her and Axel: fake dating.

The writing is addictive and keeps you fully engaged from the start. One of the things I appreciated most was getting to see a completely different side of Lorelei. My feelings toward her shifted significantly throughout the story. The saying "you can't judge a book by its cover" definitely applies to her character. Because of her upbringing, she's learned to show people only what she wants them to see. As more layers were peeled back, I found myself sympathising with her situation and the impossible choices her father was forcing upon her.

Axel also proves to be far more complex than he initially appears. He's carrying baggage from his past and struggles with who he briefly became because of it. Beneath the popular football-star exterior is a genuinely caring person who fiercely protects his friends and the people he loves. His softer side added a lot of depth to his character.

I really enjoyed watching their relationship evolve from a mutually beneficial arrangement into something much deeper. Axel's confusion regarding his feelings for both Cordi and Lorelei felt authentic and realistic. He was drawn to the version of Lorelei that no one else got to see, and that intrigue slowly turned into something more.

Meanwhile, Lorelei began to realise she deserved better than the life others had planned for her. Axel made her feel seen, valued, and safe, which only intensified her growing feelings for him. At the same time, she was terrified of getting hurt and worried that Axel would ultimately choose Cordi instead.

Once they finally became honest about their feelings, they didn't get much time to enjoy it before events took a dramatic turn. The suspense ramps up as Axel begins piecing together what happened and trying to uncover the truth. I particularly enjoyed the secret society aspect woven throughout the story. The authors do a great job of making readers feel conflicted about the fraternity and its influence. At times it works in Axel's favour, yet there's always an underlying threat because of the severe consequences they can impose when necessary.

The supporting cast is equally well developed, and the friendships between the characters were one of the highlights of the book. They rally around Axel without hesitation when he needs them most, which added another layer of heart to the story.

Overall, Wicked Lord is a fast-paced, addictive read that kept me hooked from beginning to end. The characters were engaging, the romance was compelling, and the storyline was easy to get lost in. Fans of fake dating, secret societies, and emotional college romances will definitely want to add this one to their TBR.

Wicked Lord is the second book in the Lords of Stonewall University series, and this time we get fake dating, a seriously dark situation, plenty of secrets, and a slow-burn romance as Lorelei, the proverbial mean girl from the first book, finding herself trapped in a horrifying situation thanks to her bankrupt parents, desperately searches for a way out of the arranged marriage to a depraved older man they’ve sold her into. Knowing exactly what awaits her at his hands, she’s willing to do whatever it takes to escape her fate. Enter Axel Vanderhart, football star, golden boy and pretty much the guy everyone wants on their arm. When Lorelei needs an escape plan, a fake relationship over the summer seems like the perfect solution. Axel has his own reasons for agreeing to this arrangement, including making his toxic ex jealous, but of course neither of them expected things to become quite so complicated.

I loved watching their relationship develop. The chemistry between Axel and Lorelei is undeniable, and the slow burn worked so well. There’s plenty of tension between them as they try to figure out what’s real and what isn’t, while the threat of Lorelei’s unwanted fiancé is never far away, lurking in the background determined to reclaim what he considers his possession. His presence creates an underlying threat that is impossible to ignore and Axel stepping up to protect her only makes everything that much more intense. I have to admit, I wasn’t initially sure I would enjoy this book, largely because of the heroine. Lorelei certainly didn’t endear herself to me in the first book and wasn’t inclined to feel any sympathy for her predicament. But here, she proves to be a surprisingly compelling heroine. Despite finding herself trapped in what appears to be a hopeless situation, she refuses to be intimidated and instead finds a way to take control of her circumstances. Her strength and determination made her incredibly easy to root for, particularly as she navigates the complicated feelings she’s beginning to develop for Axel, feelings she’s afraid believe in, after all no one has ever stood up for in the past. And Axel… what can I say? He might look like the perfect golden boy on the outside, but there’s definitely more going on beneath the surface. His own secrets add another layer to the story, especially as his feelings for Lorelei become far more real than he ever intended. Watching him fall for her while knowing that revealing the truth could cost him everything made for some seriously delicious angst.

I also really enjoyed the darker academic setting and of course the added layer the Serpents and Daggers secret society brought to the story. The twists, secrets and underlying sense of danger kept me turning the pages, and there was always the feeling that something else was waiting around the corner. It added a great layer of intrigue without overshadowing the romance. Overall, Wicked Lord was a surprise for me. I went into this one unsure about Lorelei and came out completely invested in her and Axel. The fake dating, slow burn, dark academia vibes, secret society intrigue and protective hero all worked together brilliantly. If you enjoy enemies-to-lovers with a darker edge, plenty of tension, secrets and a romance that takes its time, this one is definitely worth picking up!

Lorelei and Axel agree to fake a relationship with each other for their own reasons: Lorelei needs Brock to back off from their impending doom engagement, and Axel wants to make his situationship Cordi jealous. But when they get together, it becomes clear very quickly that they're actually kinda perfect together. The more time they spend pretending, the less fake any of it feels, and the stakes become higher.

Oh My God, this was SO GOOD!!!!! I already love the dark secret society world of the Lords, so diving back into all the craziness was so much fun. But like this ended up being SO much deeper than the fake relationship uni romance I was expecting. It really felt like a story about two people finally learning to accept themselves, recognizing what they deserve, and finding someone who sees them exactly as they are. And with what felt like a million different forces working against them, boy best believe I was on edge wondering how these two were ever going to make it out together.

“You’re as close to perfection as I’ve ever seen…”

Now Lorelei...I owe you an apology girl. I HATED her in the last book. Like genuinely could not stand this woman, so the complete 180 I did while reading Wicked Lord needs to be studied. Getting inside her head changed so much for me cause she was this flawed, complicated, dynamic character who grew on me SO much. Sienna and Ember took a character I had absolutely no interest in rooting for and somehow made me completely invested in her happiness.

And Axel…sigh, I loved this man. He was such a loverboy and watching that side of him come out with Lorelei was everything. More than anything, though, I was so happy to see him realize his own selfworth. He deserved so much more than being someone's afterthought or waiting around hoping to finally be chosen. Watching him recognize that and find someone who genuinely wanted him made me love his story even more.

“Mine, forever.”

For all the darkness surrounding them, Lorelei and Axel were actually such a sweet couple. And listen...this might be one of the VERY few times you'll hear me say that the OWD didn't bother me because I knew exactly where this was heading and trusted the process. The slow burn was done so well, and I especially loved that their feelings developed before anything physical happened. We actually got to watch them become friends, build trust, and become each other's support systems before their relationship crossed that line. That's what really sold these two for me. They were both so misunderstood in different ways, and somehow they found this little place of comfort in each other. The fake relationship might have brought them together, but everything they built underneath it was completely and utterly real and I vibed with it.

And now we're getting Cordi next and...girlllll you FUMBLED A DIAMOND! I'm not even going to lie, I genuinely hated her in this book BUT I'm also experiencing some serious deja vu because that's exactly how I felt about Lorelei after the last one, and look at me now. So Sienna and Ember, I'm putting my trust in you. If you managed to make me love Lorelei this much, I'm fully prepared for you to somehow work your magic on Cordi too.

WICKED LORD is the second instalment in the contemporary, new adult LORDS OF STONEWALL dark, erotic, college romance co-authored by Sienna Cross and Ember St. Vincent. This is Stonewall legacy heir Axel Vanderhart, and Lorelei Battenberg’s story line. WICKED LORD can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there WILL BE triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Axel and Lorelei) WICKED LORD focuses on the fake romance and relationship between our story line couple. Lorelei Battenberg has been sold by her father to the highest bidder. The Battenberg’s are broke, and Senator Grayson Battenberg needs a quick influx of cash but using his daughter is about to backfire when Lorelei makes Stonewall University football star Axel Vanderhart an offer he cannot refuse. Axel Vandenhart believes he has fallen in love with Cordelia Chesson but Cordelia wants nothing more than to be friends with benefit. In an effort to make Cordelia jealous, Axel and Lorelei pretend to be lovers but in doing reap the havoc that is about to ensue.

The world building follows several pathways including the Serpents and Daggers secret society buried within the hallowed halls of Stonewall University. Blackmail is often the vehicle of power and control, and in this, Axel’s secrets are about to be revealed threatening any chance of survival, with or without our story line heroine. A school of secrets, controlling fraternities and sororities but a school discipline by money and power.

The relationship between Axel and Lorelei begins acrimoniously. Lorelei’s reputation as a mean girl, a bad girl and a woman of questionable character is a point of contention with Axel’s friends but Axel finds himself torn between Lorelei, and the woman he thought he loved, a woman who is about to spiral out of control. The $ex scenes are intimate and provocative.

There is a large ensemble cast of charismatic yet questionable secondary and supporting characters including the return of Killian Davenport, and Lexi Vega , Gage Vanhorn, Cordelia Chesson, Slate, Domnus Vaughn RAdcliffe, as well as Lorelei’s intended Brock Haversham, students Tate Astor, and Micah Preston, as well as Axel’s parents Conrad and Deb, his brother Sebastian, and Lorelei’s parents Grayson and Greta Battenberg.

WICKED LORD is another story of power and control, betrayal and vengeance, secrets and lies, murder and madness, family and friendships, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is dark, dramatic and edgy; the romance is seductive and impassioned; the characters are determined, brutal, pompous and controlling.

After loving Heartless Lord, I didn't think this series could get any better... I was wrong. Wicked Lord exceeded my expectations in every possible way. The romance was stronger, the suspense more gripping, the secrets darker, and the emotions even deeper.

In the first book, Lorelei came across as cold, entitled, and impossible to like. But beneath those sharp edges was a young woman trapped by impossible expectations, desperately fighting to take control of her own life after her father practically sold her to the highest bidder. And then there's Axel. He may be Stonewall University's golden boy, but he's so much more than the charming quarterback everyone sees. He's kind, patient, protective, fiercely loyal, and willing to sacrifice everything for the people he loves. His devotion to Lorelei never felt forced or over the top. It felt genuine, even when their relationship was supposed to be fake. He gave her something she'd never truly had before: safety, acceptance, love, and the freedom to simply be herself.

The fake dating romance was executed beautifully. Their relationship developed naturally, and every moment between them felt genuine and emotionally satisfying. They made me smile... they made me happy... really happy. Their chemistry was incredible, and their emotional connection was depicted in the best way possible. And just when Lorelei thought she was the one carrying all the secrets, she discovered that Axel's were even darker.

The mystery surrounding the Serpents & Daggers continues to be one of the strongest aspects of this series. The suspense kept me on edge, and several twists completely caught me by surprise.
This story explores manipulation, control, guilt, revenge, and both toxic and loving family dynamics, but at its heart, it's about finding the one person who chooses you when everyone else has failed you... and finally finding hope that someone will save you.
Sienna Cross and Ember St. Vincent have created a world that becomes more addictive with every book. Wicked Lord delivers romance, suspense, emotional healing, unforgettable characters, shocking secrets, fake dating, secret societies, a protective golden-boy hero, a resilient heroine, possessiveness, and a beautifully emotional slow-burn romance.

Without a doubt, this is my favorite book in the series so far, and I honestly can't wait to return to Stonewall University.

As the daughter of a senator, Lorelei has always shown the world a certain side of herself, but when her father announces that their family is broke, and the only way to save them is for her to marry an oil tycoon from Texas, she knows everything will change. While initially she was open to the idea, their first public outing ends with him showing a very different side of himself, and she doesn’t know if she can force herself to go through with it. When she realizes that a friend is also facing a predicament where the girl he’s in love with refuses to commit to him, she makes him an offer, they can pretend to date so that his girl will get jealous and decide she’s ready for a relationship, and Lorelei will be able to convince her father (and the man she’s supposed to get engaged to), that she’s off the market.

Axel may seem like a fun loving guy, but he has a darker side that only his closest friends have seen. While he has been in love with Cordi for months, her refusal to commit has always been a point of contention, but when he catches her with another man during a frat party, he loses it completely. Afraid that he’s ruined his chances with Cordi forever, Axel jumps at Lorelei’s offer, hoping that once she sees he’s off the market, Cordi will realize she does want him after all. But Lorelei’s fiance refuses to take no for an answer, and he’s made it clear that he will stop at nothing to take her back, including revealing Axel’s deepest secrets. While Axel swore he’d protect Lorelei at any cost, he didn’t expect to find himself wanting to keep her for himself.

I received an early copy of this book from @greyspromo and absolutely loved it! The authors brought us back to Stonewall and it was everything I was hoping for. Axel comes off as a golden retriever type, but quickly shows his pit bull side to protect the ones he loves. Watching he and Lorelei not only fall for each other, but allow themselves to be vulnerable in ways they never had before. They are both fiercely loyal and ready to do anything to protect the other, even to their own detriment. I loved how Axel’s family welcomed Lorelei with open arms, and showed her that you can be rich and powerful, while being a decent human. While their relationship may have started out as fake, they ended up as real as it gets, and god help anyone who tried to get between them.

Wicked Lord, 2nd book in the Lords of Stonewall University series by Sienna Cross and Ember St. Vincent is a fake relationship, dark romance. Lorelei, daughter of a senator, has been promised by her family to a depraved older man. Axel Vanderhart is the golden boy everyone loves. At Stonewall University, everyone is hiding something, everyone is playing a game, and everyone is dangerous.

Lorelei is trapped, her family owes a debt, so they plan to “sell” her to a depraved older man who treats her like property. In an effort to get out, she makes a deal with the one boy she shouldn’t trust, Axel Vanderhart. Axel is star quarterback, loved by everyone and the Lord who everyone thinks is “safe”. But beneath the smile? He’s hiding a secret that could destroy him and he’s not the good guy he pretends to be. For Lorelei a fake relationship will give her an escape, for Axel it will make his toxic ex jealous. They agree to one summer, one fake relationship, one lie - It should be simple, but it becomes everything.

Pulling off fake relationships is not easy, Lorelei and Axel find that living together, pretending to be in love, sharing space starts breaking down their walls. Their chemistry is slow burn and emotional and the fake relationship stops feeling fake. When the man Lorelei’s family tried to sell her to keeps coming back, Axel becomes Lorelei protector, her anchor, the one person who doesn’t leave. At the same time, Alex is terrified Lorelei will see the real him and run when his secret is exposed, but she’s the only one he trusts, the only one he wants.

Lorelei and Axel’s journey is a rollercoaster of note, the twists and turns will make you dizzy. They are faced with so many roadblocks, the secret societies, the blackmail, the threats, the lies, the past but it’s the choices they must make that will have you holding your breath right to the very end. Axel must choose to save himself or protect Lorelei, even when if costs him everything? Lorelei believes she’s ruining Axel’s life; she’s the reason he’s losing everything; she’s a liability so she tries to leave. Ultimately Axel and Lorelei choose each other, not because it’s easy, but because it’s real. It’s raw, it’s emotional, it’s messy but a romance built on survival and trust. I cannot wait to see where this series goes next.

I’ll admit it… after meeting Lorelei in the first book of Sienna Cross and Ember St. Vincent’s Lords of Stonewall University series, I wasn’t convinced. She definitely gave off mean girl vibes, and I never imagined she’d become one of my favourite heroines. But Wicked Lord completely changed my mind.

I am absolutely, utterly in love with Lorelei and Axel.

This is fake dating romance at its finest—but don’t expect the usual tropes. Sienna Cross and Ember St. Vincent once again prove they’re masters of blending addictive romance with dark, suspenseful twists, creating a story that’s impossible to put down.

On the surface, Axel is the charismatic, fun-loving college star quarterback. He’s the guy everyone wants to be around. But beneath that easy smile lies a darkness that slowly unravels, revealing a man carrying secrets far heavier than anyone realises. Axel has a romance issue how can he make his ex-with-benefits jealous, maybe Lorelei has the perfect solution.

Lorelei, the senator’s daughter, appears to have the perfect life—but behind closed doors, her future is being stolen from her through an arranged marriage of convenience. Desperate to escape, she proposes a deal: she’ll help Axel sell their fake relationship, and he’ll help her convince everyone she’s unavailable. One year. One fake romance. Simple… right?

Except nothing about Stonewall University is ever simple.

As their relationship deepens, the lines between pretending and reality blur, and the chemistry between Axel and Lorelei absolutely sizzles off the page. Watching these two lower their walls and discover the people hiding beneath the masks was completely captivating.

But this series is so much more than romance. Hidden beneath the elite college setting are dangerous secrets, powerful societies, and a darkness that continues to tighten its grip with every page. Just when you think you’ve figured it all out, another twist leaves you desperate for more.

Wicked Lord is emotional, addictive, deliciously dark, and packed with sizzling tension, heart-stopping suspense, and unforgettable characters. Another masterpiece from Sienna Cross and Ember St. Vincent that has me completely obsessed with the world of Stonewall University.

Wicked Lord is book two in the Lords of Stonewall University Series. It is a dark, arranged marriage, fake relationship, Secret Society, College Romance. The story is told in first person, dual pov.

Lorelei is desperately trying to find a way out of a cruel and harmful arranged marriage that her father set up to save their family from financial ruin. She makes a deal with her dad that gives her a reprieve until the end of summer. Then she devises her plan, a fake relationship with Axel. Axel is the easygoing quarterback who is in love with Cordi, who refuses to commit. Who could be better to become Lorelei's fake boyfriend? It would get Lorelei's parents off her back, and make Cordi jealous.

This was such a terrific read. The more we really get to know Lorelei in this book, the more I really loved her. Her life is an absolute mess right now and she is trapped in such a horrific situation, but she is determined to find a way out, and I loved that determination. There is so much more to her than we originally thought. The different sides of Axel that we get to see was amazing as well. He is so much more than the facade that he wears. He hides many secrets and so much guilt that it haunts him.

I really enjoyed the fake relationship aspect of the story, as well as when the relationship slowly moved into the not so fake territory. The tension, chemistry, and eventual spice between Axel and Lorelei was hot. These two really clicked. The danger, action, suspense, and mystery from the Secret Society and the danger from Lorelei's potential betrothed were all terrific and entertaining.

I absolutely loved Lorelei and Axel's story. The writing, pace, flow, plot, characters, and storytelling were all fabulous, as were the storyline, character development, relationship development, and world building. I am super excited to see what comes next in this intriguing series!

Thank you so very much to Sienna Cross & Ember St. Vincent for the ARC; all thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are 100% my own.

When Lorelei’s family tries to sell her to a man who sees her as nothing more than property, she makes a deal with Axel. He needs to make his ex jealous, and she needs a way out. One fake relationship. One summer pretending to be in love.

Except somewhere along the way, the fake relationship starts feeling a little too real. Axel becomes Lorelei’s safe place—the person who stays, protects her, and slowly breaks through all the walls she’s built around herself.
I LOVED the overall setting of this book. There was just something about Stonewall University and the whole atmosphere that completely pulled me in.

And the tension between Axel and Lorelei??? PALPABLE. 😭 The chemistry between them was so good, and I loved watching their relationship slowly go from something fake to something that became very real.
Axel was definitely one of my favourite parts of the book. The way he always protected Lorelei and stood by her had me 🥹. But what I loved even more was that Lorelei wasn’t just someone waiting to be saved. They both fought to protect each other, and I really enjoyed that aspect of their relationship.

And Axel’s parents welcoming Lorelei into their family??? 🥹❤️ That was such a beautiful thing to see. After everything Lorelei had been through, watching her finally experience that kind of warmth, acceptance and family made my heart so happy.

Also, Axel and his friends!!! 😂 Their friendship was SO MUCH FUN. The constant bickering, teasing and chaos between them added some much-needed lighter moments, and I genuinely enjoyed every scene with the group.

There was honestly SO MUCH happening throughout the book. Secrets, drama, romance, danger, Serpents & Daggers, family issues… there was always something going on, and I never felt like the story was dragging. It was one of those books where you keep telling yourself “just one more chapter” and suddenly you’re halfway through the book.

GAGE AND CORDELIA. 👀
After the little glimpses we got, I NEED THEIR BOOK ASAP. I’m already invested. 🖤✨

Give me a dark, college romance any day and I am here for it! Wicked Lord by Sienna Cross and Ember St. Vincent is book two in the Lords of Stonewall University Series and it was so so good I couldn't put it down! I was so ready for this couple and they did not disappoint. It’s a dark and unhinged college world and I loved it!

Lorelei was such a mean girl in book one but I knew there had to be so much more to her story. This girl has been through so much, she’s a girl who is trying to survive, desperate to belong, and carrying the weight of her family on her shoulders. She’s never truly been loved or chosen just for her.

Axel, this man.. He's Stonewall University's gorgeous, perfect golden boy. The star player who everyone loves and thinks has the perfect life. But behind that smile is someone carrying his own pain and guilt from secrets in the past. This man is so kind and loving to those he cares about. A HUGE heart!

Add in a fake dating relationship. She’s trying to avoid getting married to an evil man. He’s trying to make the girl he “thinks” he loves jealous to come back to him. And it is so perfect! The tension, the yearning, their adorable banter, their hot as hell chemistry! It is pure addictive! And when these two give in, omg, they are pure fire and his dirty mouth is everything!!

Add in the unhinged secret society, the hidden secrets, and a group of friends we get to know a little more and I can’t wait to find out even more!

I just loved these two. The two most unlikely people proved how much opposites attract! The way this man loved her was so good. He is so protective, obsessed and absolutely gives her the love she truly deserves! Can’t wait for the next book and couple!

Wicked Lord is book 2 in the series and I completely devoured this book!

I don’t think I’ve ever rooted so hard for two people who seemed so completely wrong for each other… until they weren’t.

Wicked Lord had me hooked from the very first chapter. Between the dark college setting, the fake dating arrangement, dangerous secrets, and nonstop tension, I couldn’t stop turning the pages.

Lorelei surprised me the most. She was a lot in the first book and a little slutty and at first glance she’s easy to judge, but once her walls start coming down, you realize she’s been carrying far more than anyone should. Watching her slowly learn that she deserved to be protected and genuinely cared for made her journey incredibly satisfying.

And Axel? This man completely stole the show. Everyone sees the charming football star with the perfect life, but underneath is someone carrying his own scars. The way he showed up for Lorelei, stood beside her, and loved her so fiercely had me melting. Protective golden boys will always have my heart.

The fake dating trope was done so well because the feelings never felt forced. Every glance, every bit of banter, every moment of jealousy built into chemistry that absolutely exploded once they finally gave in. Their relationship felt earned, and I was invested every step of the way.

The suspense running through the story kept the stakes high, and I loved how the darker elements mixed with the romance without taking away from either. Just when I thought I knew where things were going, another twist pulled me right back in.

This was emotional, addictive, and impossible to put down. If you love dark college romance with fake dating, a protective golden boy, a heroine finding her strength, plenty of tension, and a side of mystery, this one absolutely delivers.

I already need Gage’s book!!

Thank you to the authors and Greys Promotions for the ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

Wicked Lord completely stole my heart. I came for the fake dating and dark college vibes, but I stayed for Axel Vanderhart. He’s the ultimate golden boy, yet beneath the charming smile is a hero carrying enough darkness to make every revelation hit that much harder. Watching him fall first for Lorelei was everything I wanted and more.

Lorelei is an incredible FMC. She’s survived so much, and instead of making her story define her, she fights for her own freedom and refuses to let anyone own her future. Her strength, vulnerability, and determination made her impossible not to root for. The chemistry between her and Axel builds naturally, turning what starts as a simple arrangement into something emotional, protective, and completely addictive.

The fake relationship trope is executed perfectly. Every stolen glance, every protective moment, and every crack in their carefully crafted lie pulled me in deeper. Axel doesn’t just tell Lorelei she’s safe, he proves it again and again, making him one of my favorite book boyfriends.

The secret societies, dangerous twists, and constant tension kept the pages flying. Just when I thought I knew where the story was heading, another secret surfaced, raising the stakes even higher. The blend of romance, suspense, and emotional depth made it impossible to put down.

If you love:
🖤 Fake dating
🖤 Golden retriever hero with hidden darkness
🖤 He falls first
🖤 Protective MMC
🖤 Secret societies
🖤 Dark college romance
🖤 High stakes and emotional healing
🖤 Plenty of steam

…then Wicked Lord deserves a spot at the top of your TBR.

Axel and Lorelei’s story is equal parts heartbreaking, swoony, and suspenseful. Their journey proves that sometimes the person everyone believes is the hero is hiding the deepest scars, and sometimes love is the only thing strong enough to face the darkness. I can’t wait to return to Stonewall University.

I was honored to have receive this arc in exchange for an honest review by Greys Promotion and the authors.

Wicked Lord completely pulled me in with all the twists, tension, and emotional moments.

Lorelei's life is turned upside down when her broke father forces her into an arranged marriage with Brock Haversham, a 36-year-old oil tycoon who is as cruel as he is powerful. After Brock assaults her, Lorelei desperately needs a way out and finds an unlikely ally in Axel Vanderhart, the school's golden boy, star quarterback, and everyone's favorite guy.

Axel is hopelessly hung up on Cordi, a girl who only sees him as someone to hook up with, so Lorelei proposes the perfect solution: a fake relationship. She gets protection from Brock, Axel gets the chance to make Cordi jealous, and everyone, including Lorelei's father, gets exactly what they think they want.

Of course, fake dating with rules should have been easy... but feelings don't exactly follow rules.

Watching Lorelei and Axel slowly blur the lines between pretending and reality was my favorite part of the book. Their chemistry felt natural, and I loved seeing Axel become the safe place Lorelei desperately needed after everything she'd endured.

What I wasn't expecting was just how obsessive Brock would become. The more Lorelei tried to escape him, the more determined he was to get her back, no matter who he had to hurt, including Axel. That constant danger kept the tension high and had me flying through the pages.

The twists and turns kept me fully invested from beginning to end, and I never knew exactly where the story was going next. If you enjoy fake dating, college romance, protective heroes, emotional healing, and plenty of suspense mixed with your romance, this one is definitely worth picking up.

Wicked Lord completely stole my heart. I went into this expecting a fake dating college romance, but what I got was so much more. It was emotional, suspenseful, romantic, and impossible to put down.

Lorelei has been through more than anyone should ever have to endure, and watching her slowly find safety, trust, and her own voice made me so emotional. She was easy to root for from the very first page. Then there's Axel. On the outside he's the charming golden boy that everyone loves, but underneath all of that is someone carrying his own pain and secrets. The more I got to know him, the more I fell for him.

The chemistry between Lorelei and Axel felt so natural. Their fake relationship slowly turned into something real, and every stolen moment, every protective gesture, and every vulnerable conversation made me love them even more. Axel wasn't just obsessed with Lorelei. He truly saw her, believed in her, and wanted to protect her no matter what it cost him. That kind of devotion gets me every single time.

The secret society storyline added the perfect amount of mystery and danger, keeping me glued to the pages because I constantly needed to know what was going to happen next. Just when I thought I had everything figured out, another twist pulled me right back in.

Sienna Cross and Ember St. Vincent created characters that felt real and gave me every emotion I could ask for. If you love dark college romance with fake dating, forced proximity, a golden boy hero who falls first, protective vibes, emotional healing, and secrets that keep you guessing, you absolutely need to pick up Wicked Lord.

This series just keeps getting better, and I already cannot wait to see where Stonewall University takes us next.

Wicked Lord is the second book in the Lords of Stonewall University series. Axel Vanderhart is a charming football player. He’s a member of the Serpent and Daggers, and he his best friend with Killian, who we met in Heartless Lord. He’s been pining over Cordelia, who he’s had a casual thing with for a while. He wants to be more, but she’s never wanted to take the step. He’s starting to get tired of seeing her with other guys. When he sees Lorelei in a bad position with a man, he decides to intervene. Everyone knows her as the queen of mean, she even messed with Killian’s girlfriend before. She is now arranged to be married to Brock and wants out. She notices how much Axel wants Cordelia so she comes up with a plan. She wants Brock to stay away from her and he wants Cordelia to commit so she suggests they pretend to be in a relationship. That way Cordelia will be jealous, and Brock will finally leave her alone. Axel agrees, but the longer they spend together the more they get to know each other. Axel sees Lorelei as vulnerable sweet, kind, passionate, and even friendly. She realizes Alex is more than just a football star. He is loyal, always making sure everyone is okay and is fiercely protective. She’s wondering why she never noticed him before. When these fake feelings start becoming real they have to decide what they’re gonna do if their plans succeeds. Will Axle go back to Cordelia if she’s ready to commit or will he take a chance and start something real with Lorelei? Will Brock finally leave her alone? This was an emotional roller coaster. It was filled with drama, heat, danger, humor, action, fun moments, and shocking twists. I’m so excited for the next one, and shocking twists.

Wheww I knew this series was going to have me going feel every single book and so far I’m right cause this book was giving me whiplash especially the last 20% I didn’t know what was coming next but I was definitely eating it up. Lorelei and Axel are absolutely perfect together they just match each others freaks so badly I love it. The fake dating thing was so good for both of them honestly

If you told me a couple months ago I would like Lorelei I would say you’re a liar cause I definitely didn’t like her in book one but now I love my SHAYLAAAA she’s everything to me she’s been through so much in her life and this book I just wanted to hug her so bad!. Lorelei is getting forced into marrying somebody who is the absolute worst person, my heart just broke for her

Axel and Lorelei strike a deal to fake date cause it would be beneficial for both of them. These two are so freaking cute I just love them so much and seeing both of them develop amazing feels for each other cause once that happened they were just so in love.

Axel is the rich jock but he’s do much more than that, I love him so much he’s literally my man. Plus he’s so possessive and hot like ugh come hereee lol. Axel the golden boy but he’s also have some darkness in him that nobody usually sees. I just fell so In love with Axel he’s just freaking everything

Lorelei and Axel fake day so he can make my girl Cordelia jealous and she can get out of her engagement so it would make perfect sense for them. Them becoming each others safe space was just everything and more I just love them so much and they faced so many obstacles in this book.

I need book 3 like now I’ve been waiting for Cordelia and Gage!

Thank You So Much for giving me this incredible arc!

Okay… I really thought I knew Axel Vanderhart after book one. I was wrong. 😮‍💨🖤

I went into Wicked Lord already loving Axel, but watching him get his own story made me fall for him even harder. The golden boy exterior is only one piece of who he is, and getting to see the man underneath that charming smile? Absolutely everything.

And Lorelei? 👀 I’ll admit it, I wasn’t completely convinced about her pairing with Axel going into this book. But WOW, did she change my mind. Getting to see the real Lorelei, the girl hiding underneath everything she’s been forced to become, made me understand her in a completely different way. She is so much stronger than she gets credit for, and I found myself rooting for her HARD.

Their fake-dating arrangement starts with an agenda, but watching it slowly blur into something neither of them planned was EVERYTHING. The chemistry? 🔥 The banter? 👏 The protectiveness? YES. And the way these two start becoming each other’s safe place had my little romance-loving heart in a chokehold.

Add in secret societies, dangerous secrets, suspense, emotional wounds, and a golden boy who proves that sometimes the sweetest men can be the most wicked… and I was completely hooked.

This book reminded me why I love this series so much. I devoured it, and now I desperately need Axel and Lorelei to make appearances in future books because I am NOT ready to let them go yet. 🖤

And now… GAGE.
I've been waiting for his story, and after that ending, I NEED IT. 😭🔥

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you love fake dating, he-falls-first, protective heroes, secret societies, morally gray men, undeniable chemistry, and dark college romance, add Wicked Lord to your TBR immediately. 🐍🖤

I had the pleasure of receiving an ARC of Wicked Lord by Sienna Cross and Ember St. Vincent in exchange for an honest review.

Going into this book, both authors were completely new to me. I hadn't read any of their previous work, but I'm always a sucker for a good secret society romance and an enemies-to-lovers storyline, so I couldn't pass this one up.

This book follows Axel and Lorelei, and I really enjoyed getting to know them better. After the first book, I thought I had Lorelei all figured out, but I loved discovering there was so much more beneath her prim and proper exterior. She's kind, resilient, and has been carrying far more than anyone realizes. Watching her story unfold gave me a whole new appreciation for her character.

Axel and Lorelei's relationship had plenty of tension, banter, and chemistry, which kept me invested throughout. I also appreciated that the story continued to expand the world and kept me guessing with a few unexpected twists.

While there were a couple of moments where I wanted a little more depth or development, it didn't take away from how much I enjoyed the overall story. I found myself eager to keep turning the pages to see how everything would play out.

Overall, Wicked Lord was a fun, engaging read that exceeded my expectations. If you enjoy secret societies, enemies-to-lovers romance, and uncovering the hidden depths of complex characters, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a try. I'll definitely be picking up more from Sienna Cross and Ember St. Vincent in the future.

I have to say I liked this book better.
In this book, we find a dark college romance and fake dates.
The main characters are Axel and Lorelei, a very beautiful couple. In the first book, *Heartless Lord*, we saw Lorelei as so arrogant and cold that she made people hate her. In *Wicked Lord*, we see a girl who hides her emotions; she’s loyal and affectionate, bears the weight of her family’s expectations, and seeks to maintain her freedom before being sold to a depraved man.
Axel is my favorite character, he’s a sweet, loving man who’s willing to say “I love you” first. To be honest, I didn’t think he’d be like that. He also hides secrets, carries a heavy burden, and regrets his past mistakes.
The protagonists start a fake relationship Axel wants to make his “friend with benefits” jealous, and Lorelei wants to escape a marriage she doesn’t want but over time, their story turns into something more. The feelings Axel developed for Lorelei made him realize that what he felt for his friend wasn’t real, but simply lust. I always thought he deserved more a woman who would love him and put him first and I loved that he found that in Lorelei.
A lot happens to keep the reader hooked, and the plot is quite good.
That little teaser at the end for the next story left me with a lot of questions, and I can’t wait for the next book to come out.

Sienna Cross and Ember St. Vincent knocked it out of the park with Wicked Lord! This book had everything I love in a romance—fantastic chemistry, emotional growth, a fake dating trope done right, and enough suspense to keep me guessing until the very end.

Lorelei completely stole my heart. My heart broke for her from the very beginning as she found herself trapped by her senator father, who viewed her as nothing more than a bargaining chip and tried to force her into a marriage with an older, controlling man. It was impossible not to root for her happiness.

Enter Axel. What starts as a mutually beneficial fake dating arrangement—helping Lorelei escape her unwanted engagement while making another woman jealous—quickly turns into so much more. I loved watching their relationship evolve from a strategic arrangement into something real. The banter was effortless, the chemistry was undeniable, and the emotional moments hit just as hard as the swoony ones.

Axel was everything I want in a romance hero—protective, fiercely loyal, and willing to do whatever it took for the people he cared about. Watching him slowly let down his guard with Lorelei made their happily ever after feel completely earned.

If you love fake dating, protective heroes, emotional character growth, and a romance with plenty of suspense mixed in, Wicked Lord is one you won't want to miss.

Thank you to the authors and Grey’s Promotions for the ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This one drops you right into the mix focusing on Loreli and Axel. Their not necessarily enemies or friends but somewhere inbetween. Loreli is supposed to be engaged to Brock but swears she will find a way out of the arranged marriage to save her family, but how will she come up with all the money her dad needs?

This puts fake dating in a whole new light for me. I was on edge with the back and forth and omg Brock really grated my nerves. This one definitely has its share of spice, but not quite as unhinged as Lexi & Killians story in book 1.

I just love an academia setting, there's just something about the college life that just adds that extra flare to a dark romance for me. Add in Greek life and a secret society and youve got me hooked.

I will say the ending truly did fit the bill for him and I'm so glad this was the true ending to their story.

I am however so intrigued by the next book because Gage and Cordelia will surely be a story for the ages. I cant wait for book 3!
